The blazing INFERNO at Port Charles Hotel is continuing to destroy . There is an intense need for some characters to tell those who are near their deepest, darkest revelations. For Example, Alexis who is trapped in the elevator earlier with Carly tells a distraught Carly that Sonny is really Kristina's dad. As the fireballs and backdrafts rage, the scared people with raw emotions fear they will die so they reveal their innermost thoughts.( Like last minute confessions on Death Row)???
Luke takes the initiative to create a lottery of numbers for the frightened, stranded group to draw to board the helicopter. He offers to give Red.. Skye an earlier number, but she turns him down. As Luke boards the helicopter ,he kisses Skye passionately. Is Luke beginning to feel again? Jason and he have mended a bridge too during this firey destruction.Two bodies have been identified as Cameron and DA Scott Baldwin, but where are Zander and the so-called fireman who took "the loot" from a dazed Skye? Those baubles, whom all have so greedily fought for, may be lying among the ashes and debris. One wonders if anyone has learned that life is dearer than all the treasures of monetary value? Perhaps, Sam does as she follows her heart and joins a thankful Jax for safety.

Brian is wounded again ,and Jason is arrested for this tragedy by the crooked cop. This deranged ,crooked cop plans to kill Jason during this raging inferno.Ric leaves the scene to let Elizabeth know that he's safe. Of course, he is concerned about Sonny who fell through the floor with his dearest Carly. As a tired, hurt Sonny tries to revive a lifeless Carly, he tells her that he has never loved and hated someone as much as he has her. A TOUCHING SCENE! Also, Courtney tells Jason of her love as she leaves to board the helicopter. Will these forlorn spouses reconcile? Who knows? A dejected ,sad looking Alcazar stands and observes Sonny's love for Carly.Will he back off now?
The teens are rescued ,and Maxie tells Georgie that Mac is in intensive care. He had gone to the basement to look for Zander.He got ravaged in a backdraft.
Nikolas tells Emily that she must get on that helicopter without him since the crooked policeman forced himself free to board. Will Nik get down safely? The helicopter can no longer pick up anyone according to the pilot.The Port Charles Hotel is meeting its demise and ,of course, Edward feels so responsible. Luke tells him that he should have done something about the substandard wiring.How many will survive this holocaust, and who will remember the confessions?
