General Hospital Update for Monday, 19-Jan-2004

I cannot comprehend why faithful GH fans do not write daily updates. It's not that difficult sooo. (Just an aside) Anyone who is a follower of General Hospital knows that today's show was exciting, inane, and full of syringes.Poor Carly is lying in a rather drugged state at a sanitarium while one malicious Faith has paid so-called mental aides to transfer Carly to another tighter mental sanitarium known as Fern Hill. Faith has been trying to hypnotize, brainwash, and irritate Carly into believing that she should be with Lorenzo Alcazar.Carly has visions of making love to Alcazar, and then, she is alert enough to figure out Faith's dangerous scheme. As Faith is rushing out of Carly's room, Dr. Lewis sees her . Where has Cameron Lewis been ? Why hasn't Carly been under scrutiny? This is a little inane to me.Surely, there is someone there who can take care of Carly's problem. Dr Lewis finally catches on and calls Courtney. Meanwhile, a still dazed Jason tells Courtney that he loves her . He wants to make love to Court. She says;" No, Let's go save Carly." This is what good friends are for, Right?In another segment, a beaten Sam discovers a hurt Jax in the Pirates' Den.He professes that he has not trusted her with Sonny. She tries to assure him that nil took place between them. He is soooooo jealous which Sam loves. He finally tells Sam that he can't trust her, but he can't get her out of his mind. He says:" I want to protect you..". Then, they make love. Jax had even asked Sam if she were attracted to Sonny. Is She?In another scene, Zander and Nik fight. Zander cannot let go of his love for Emily or his revenge against Nikolas. Yet, Alexis is on to RIC and Zander ,and she threatens Ric and Zander that she knows these games they are playing.She begs Zander to give up this charade. Even Elizabeth tries to discuss loving, letting go, and forgiving to Zander. When Alexis gets tough with Ric, she makes a deal with him to lose the case against Nikolas. Does Zander smell a rat? Me thinks sooooooo.The funniest part of the show today was when Carly tried to crawl out of her room.She meets the vixen herself, but one freed Alcazar sticks a needle into Faith , picks up his fragile, dulled Carly and disappears. Needless to say, a gagged, tightly bound comical -looking Faith is found in Carly's bed by the too late Jason and Courtney.OOPS..A clever Alonzo had feigned illness to overcome his guard and he escaped to catch his girl.As the show closes ,one can hear the wretched Helena speaking. Does she now possess the Cassadine treasure? Will Carly be found before she is seduced or seduces Alcazar? There are lots of questions begging for answers. So, You must stay connected by tuning in tomorrow.
