General Hospital Update for Monday, 17-Nov-2003

Today was a rather ho hum day on General Hospital. This reviewer is assuming that GH's fans know that Carly has come out of her long coma. She appears to be sad and very confused about Sonny and Lorenzo. Lorenzo reminds her that he told her that he loved her the day he helped to deliver Morgan, her baby son. So far, she has shown no interest in her newborn.She is still trying to sort out her feelings.. dreams concerning Alcazar. Jason has warned Sonny not to push Carly too hard to remember lost bits of info. Sonny takes her candy which Carly likes,and she smiles for the first time. She also assures Sonny that she knows how and why she was shot. An elated Lorenzo is listening to Carly's conversation ( via a bug he put in her flowers)with Courtney. Does Carly truly love Alcazar? Have her feelings for Sonny waned? It's much too early to ascertain.
In the meantime, a money -hungry Tracy appears which causes a migraine for Edward. She borrows ten mil from Lila, her mom ,to start a casino with Jax.By the way, this viewer has not seen lovely Lila in eons. Where is she? Tracy has stolen THE DEAD MAN'S HAND from an irate Sam. In fact, Sam is not going to depart on her new boat til ahe recovers these supposedly lucky cards.She and Tracy get into a little catfight which Jax calls to an end. He is still so angry with her because she caused him to be late getting to his dying father's bedside. Oh me!
Alcazar has hired Dillon to guard his impish , rich, calculating spoiled niece Sage. Yet, a fiesty Georgie steps in to alleviate this plan. She, for some reason, wants to make love to Dillon. He says No to this idea ,but he tries to reassure her by saying: "Sage is my job, You are my love." He knows that he must make some money if he is to stay out of military school.
An angry Zander tells Emily to leave him alone. She is feeling guilty because she called the cops on him. She thinks that she is protecting him from evil people like Faith. Zander says:" Go back to your prince ,and leave me alone."
Elizabeth and Ric plan a date for a certain night. She is still undecided about her relationship with Ric.
A great revelation was when Sonny announced to his beloved Carly that he is leaving the mob. She acts somewhat lackadaisical about this. When Sonny says:" I will take you dancing again," she sees herself in the loving arms of Lorenzo Alcazar sooooooo. As she said, her mind is jumbled. Who will help Carly to " come alive again?"Tune in to see where she goes from here in her forgotten , unfeeling state-of-mind.
