General Hospital Update for Friday, 19-Sep-2003

Sonny and Carly are in their apartment with Courtney and Jason when Sonny receives a phone call. After he answers the phone Sonny tells Carly that he won’t be able to go to the hospital with her for her doctor appointment. Courtney volunteers to go with her.

Georgie and Dylan are at Kelly’s discussing their romantic evening. At the table the both admit that they love each other. After Dylan leaves Georgie calls Maxie for help. When Maxie arrives Georgie informs her that Dylan and she are going to have their first intimate encounter. She also tells her how nervous she is about it. Maxie reassures her that everything will be all right. She will help Georgie to prepare of her special evening.

Dylan goes to General Hospital at the Family Planning Center to get some condoms for this evening but it is closed. There he runs into Emily where he tells her of his plans with Georgie. She smiles then tells him how happy she is for him. But the more that he talks about Zander the sadder Emily gets. Finally Dylan did get the condoms after he was embarrassed at the convenience store. In front of everyone on line he declared his love for Georgie.

Georgie, dressed in a beautiful gown, greets Dylan dressed in a tuxedo at the hotel room door. Both were astonished and had their breath taken away at the sight of one another.

Alcazar meets with the detective to inquire if the job was done. The detective informed him that Nicholas was being taken care of on the dock. And the photographs of him and Emily were in the mail this morning. Lucky showed up. After Alcazar left the detective convinced Lucky that the meeting was innocent. Then Lucky and the detective went to the hospital to check on Nicholas. They told him that they would look into who hurt him but Nicholas told them that nothing happened.

Lydia visited Stefan in jail to show him the pictures of Emily and Nicholas making love. They argue. Lydia needs to try harder. If she conceives an heir Nicholas will leave Emily.

Nicholas is attacked on the dock where Emily finds him later. She takes him to General Hospital where she encounters Lydia. While Nicholas is escorted to a room Lydia warns Emily to stay away from Nicholas because his life depended on it. Eventually Lydia revealed the photographs to Emily. Emily runs to Jason to tell him what happened. Jase told Em not to worry he knows who is behind this.

Carly hadn’t felt the baby kick in awhile. The ultrasound reveals that he baby is fine. The Doctor tells her that this is quiet time for the baby and the baby is fine. In the meantime Courtney looks at the sonogram then begins to think of her own child. Carly looks at her then says, “Don’t’ give up hope. It is still possible for you to have a child.”

Sonny rushes to the cemetery with Jason to find his deceased wife’s grave desecrated. The body is gone. Max tells him eth Port Charles Police will do everything possible. After Max leaves, Jason leaves at Sonny’s request. Sonny vows to Lily that he will find out who did it. Then he asks Lily to watch over Carly and their unborn child.

Jason arrives at the hospital to see Carly get light headed and dizzy. Sonny arrives to find Carly in a hospital bed awaiting the doctor’s test results. He is informed that Carly is dehydrated. It does happen and can cause a lot of pain. There is no danger to the two of them but she needs to slow down. But she wants Carly to stay overnight, Sonny agrees. After a reassurance from the doctor Sonny goes home. But not before checking on Carly and the baby. As he leaves he gets a phone call form home.

Jason goes to Nicholas to tell him that he knows who did this to him but he needs his help. Lydia visits where Nicholas tells her he wants an annulment starting today. The detective overhears outside the room. Then Jason encounters Alcazar leaving Carly’s room where he warns him to stay away.

While Sonny was in the hospital with Carly, a woman covered in dirt and worn clothing enters his home. She looks at his family picture and picks up the phone to call him.
When Sonny comes home he is greeted by fallen leaf on the floor, and his family picture out of place. He goes to his glass door where lightening lights up the sky. On his glass door he reads “I miss you.” He rubs his eyes. Lightening strikes again. He sees a woman on the patio. Do you think that Lily has returned from the dead? Why seven years later? Or is a trick?
