General Hospital Update for Tuesday, 16-Sep-2003

Ric confronts Courtney outside Liz's hospital room and accuses her of running down Elizabeth. Courtney denies and Ric gets angry, in comes Jason who pins Ric against the wall and tells Ric if he a problem with Courtney to see him not her. Jason tells Ric this is over and he better leave. In the meantime, Sonny is very emotional and tells Carly that he knows she is lying about where she has been and that he does not want to not be able to ever trust her again, so please be honest. Carly breaks down and tells Sonny, that she ditched the guards to go meet with Alcazar and that he says he saw Courtney run down Elizabeth and that Alcazar had Courtney's car, so Carly decided to drive it off the cliff and she got stuck and slid down the cliff and Alky rescued her and took her back to his apartment to clean up, she was there when Sonny and Jason stormed in, but she kept quiet to keep from upsetting Sonny any further. She told him that she loves him and she loves Courtney, like a sister and she would not let Courtney get hurt by finding out that she ran down Elizabeth. Carly begs Sonny not to tell Jason, because then Jason will tell Courtney. Jason bursts in and says he needs to speak with Sonny alone and Sonny asked if it was about Courtney and Jason said yes. Sonny proceeds to tell Jason what Carly did, Jason gets angry with Carly for putting her life and the baby's life in danger and she say's I know everyone thinks I am a bad mother and they both say no. In the meantime, Courtney goes to see Alky to find out what type of condition she was in that night after he saw her in the park, he told her she was upset and distraught and that she sped off in her car, Court said was I going North and Alky said no you were going East. Courtney is happy and leaves. Alcazar has his onw plans starting, he bring a girl to his apartment and offers her money to impersonate someone to bring down Sonny, he has a Doctor come in and take a look at the girl and the Doctor says she will work just fine for the plan. Alky's plan for Sonny's destruction is in place. In the meantime, Jason finds Courtney on the street and asks her where she has been, she say's at Alcazar's and tells Jason that she did not do it and Jason said, well that is not what Alky told Carly. Carly tries to convince Sonny that she loves him and he says that he never wants to look at her again and see nothing but deciet and that he loves her very much.
Emily and Zander are making romantic plans at the cottage, when Zander gets a call from Alexis.
Emily has two glasses anda bottle of wine, it's lightening and thundering outside, the lights go off. She lights a candle. She takes the candle over to the telephone, the phone must not be working, she puts it down.

Liz is taking lessons on how to walk with a stick. She doesn't want to do it, the therapist calls her Mrs. Lansing Liz tells her not to call her that. Liz almost falls and Ric catches her.The therapist asks Liz if she's alright and Liz apologizes for the way she was acting. Ric says nobody expects you to ,, she says You, why are you everywhere, why can't you just leave me alone. Ric says he loves her, he wants to be there for her, he wants to catch her if she falls. She wants him to stay away from her. He can't, Ric calls her "poor Elizabeth, everybodies favorite victim" he tells her to wallow in her self pity, he guesses he was wrong about her.
Sonny asks if Carly thinks she can trust Lorenzo. She doesn’t' think he'll hurt her or Michael, or the baby. Sonny wants to know why it's always her last instinct to trust Sonny. He says Lo made her think something happened that didn't happen. she wants it all to just end right here Sonny says no it can't just end right now.

Zander goes to meet Alexis, she explains what Stefan did to Ned and how she asked Stefan to help her get kristina back. She explains all that Stefan has done. She wants Zander to check out Cindy and find out her story, tie her to stefan, find out everything. She has no right to ask him this, but she has no where else to turn. Zander says you took me in when I came to town, I owe you. Alexis says you have to be careful, if Stefan finds out, you and Emily will be in danger.

Emily at the door saying it worked the lights are on, Nik comes in, he changed some fuses. He puts a shawl around her and starts a fire before he leaves. Nik and Em talking about her health.. Nik says looks like you have everything you need. It lightening and the lights go off again. someone is lurking outside with a camera (no. 3).
Lydia walks in on Zadner on the phone in Kelly's. Lydia tells Z that Emily called Nik for him to turn on the electricity. She says it didn't take them long did it.

Em wants Nik to stay until the storm passes. He takes off his wet shirt, Em is watching him. She gives him a glass of wine and hold onto the glass longer than necessary. she has a confession she has to make. She lied to Zander when she said he pulled her back when she was dying, it was Nikolas. he says I had the same dream. they kiss, the person with a camera starts snapping.

The therapist wants to take Liz back to her room (Ric is lurking, listening.) (same person, act no. 4) Liz uses the cane to walk back on her own, ric smiles.

Lo asks if the hookers family knows what she does. The blond, Lily look alike will do whatever Lo wants her to do Marcella is her name. Lo says she needs to be perfect or this will never work.

Jason tells Courtney about the picture, Carly having the car and running it into a lake. Jason says Lo claims he saw you hit Liz and keep driving. Jason promises he will fix this for her.

Sonny always figures out when Carly lies because he used to lie the same way. The lie hurts worse, sometimes it can kill you. Maybe it's the life they lead, he could have lost her and the baby because she lied and he didn't know where she was, it can't keep happening. Carly says she understands. Sonny tells her he doesn't think she's stupid or a bad mother, he was worried and he doesn't handle it well. Max comes in, the police found Courtney's car.
