General Hospital Update for Friday, 8-Aug-2003

Lydia tells Emily that she will DOUBLE Nikolas pledge toward Breast Cancer if Emily convince Nikolas to consimate the marriage.

Things heat up with Georgie and Dillion but then Dillion backs away. In a touching scene Dillion tells Georgie that he wants everything to be special between them and not like they are out to prove something to someone which is why he is backing off. Georgie tell Dillion that he wants him and the two go back at it again, only to be interupted by a drunken Maxie. The not so innocent teen is looking for a new shirt in Georgie's room after she spilt beer on her own. Maxie spills the beans to Georgie and Dillion about stealing drugs from the hospital to party with the 'in' crowd. Georgie searches Maxie's purse for the stolen drugs but comes up with nothing. That means that they are with Kyle. As Maxie passes out briefly on Georgie's bed, Dillion goes looking for Kyle.

In effort to make Ned look like a poor father, Stephan hired a former Edie Mane fan to come and slap Ned and remind him of the day when she cried a false rape. Skye sees right through the sudden appearance of one of Edie's Angel's and tells Ned there are no such things as coincidences. Stephan wants to continue to role plans into action to make Ned look like a bad father. Meanwhile, Ned approaches Alexis to try to make work things out.

In one of the most intense stories, Sonny, Jason & Ric find Carly. Getting her out of the hospital is a challenge. There is a fire fight and Ric throws himself in the line of enemy fire so that Carly, Sonny and Jason and run. Sonny takes Carly to the plane while Jason goes back to get Courtney at the hotel. Ric is shot several times and finally surrenders.

Back at the hotel, Courtney is being held hostage by Alcazar. Jason comes back for her but runs into complications of his own. Alcazar says that he needs leverage and demands to have Carly back or he will take Courtney.

Dillion fights with Kyle in the park and was able to sneak the drugs off him. When he returns him to the hospital, Alan catches him.

Since Nikolas wont give in, Lydia makes plans for an annulment. Not so fast Lydia! Stephan overhears the conversation and threatens Lydia saying that "the only way out, is for Nikolas to become a widower."

Zanders runs the race course twice much to the Quartermaine's suprise and appreciation. Emily tells Zander that his gift is better than Nikolas's check....In the distance Nikolas overhears...

Elizabeth is back at her place I believe, packing up her things. She reminices about the good times and falling in love with Ric. Meanwhile, Ric is close to death in a hospital bed in Leone. He pictures Elizabeth above him and calls for her before flat lining....will he be brought back!!!
