General Hospital Update for Tuesday, 8-Jul-2003

Jason and Stan listen to Ric and Alcazar discuss Carly (without ever mentioning her name). They also hear the Panic Room door open and have no clue what it is. Sonny wants a copy made so he can have the feds listen to the tape and try to figure out what the noise is. Jason goes to Alcazar's apartment and finds a picture of Carly, which he later shows to Sonny.

Alcazar shows up at Sonny's PH and tells Sonny he knows where Carly is. He will tell Sonny if Sonny agrees to let Alcazar run drugs through his territory. After Alcazar leaves, Sonny orders Faith to go to Alcazar's apartment. Ric goes to Alcazar's, only to hear Faith and Alcazar talking.

Liz gets a second opinion from Dr. Meadows about her being able to have a baby. Dr. Meadows tells Liz that she is able to have a baby. Later Liz tells Ric and he is less than thrilled about the good news. Liz is worried that Ric has changed his mind about having a baby.

Carly "plays" Ric and tells him that she is scared that Alcazar is going to hurt her. Ric promises that nothing will happen to her.

Gia and Zander decide to be just friends after Emily tells Zander about her cancer. Gia is heartbroken and goes and "thanks" Nik for her loss. She later discovers that Nik really does love Emily, that it wasn't all an act. Lucky tells Nik that Lydia has been all over him and that Nik really loves Emily. Lydia later slaps Lucky for lying to Nik. Lydia also informs Lucky that she would never want Lucky. Nik informs Lydia that if she cheats on him while they are married, he will divorce her.
