General Hospital Update for Monday, 9-Jun-2003

Hi General Hospital fans, Today's show was rather suspenseful except for Emily's whining. I am sorry ,but so many people have the dreadful cancer So, she is not alone. Please writers ,give her a more upbeat attitude.So many people love her sooooooo. It is possible that she will need Zander's help too. :-)She feels guilty about using Nicholas to keep Zander awayplus she is causing unneeded friction between Nic and his devoted Uncle Stefan. To this viewer, this part of the script needs some work. :-)Perhaps, the new brunette will steer Nicholas away from a pathetic Em.Stefan hides her for now.
Lucky rushes in to catch an out- of- control Luke with a scared Summer. In Luke's need to be close to his forbidden Laura, he loses it. He thinks that Summer is his precious Laura.Therefore, he is caressing her and holding a fierce looking knife. HOW sad! He seeks Cameron's help with threats and pushes the edge of the blade to Cameron's throat. Yet, Cameron tries to remain as calm as he can.He tells Luke that Laura is sick and that he can't help her now.One wonders how this longggggg scenario will end.Laura, Where are you?One does not mean to be cynical, but some subplots need to move a little faster . OK?
When Em goes to the Cassadine Mansion to stay for a while, Stefan is furious. He accuses her of being a manipulator. He instructs someone to get the dope on Em. Speaking of dope, Jason is arrested when Scott and his men find kilos of drugs in his and Sonny's coffee shipments. Oh ME. Sonny, of course, has been abducted by Alcazar's look -alike brother. The brother tries to make deals with Jason and Ric. They both turn him down. In the meantime, Carly is rushed to the hospital for pain. Ric calls 911 for a scared little Michael.Of course, Ric plans to kidnap Sonny and Carly's baby for Liz. Liz has told an obsessive ,out-of-touch Ric to forgo thinking of having a child now. She does not know that the mysterious, enigmatic Ric has set up a little nursery in the secret room in their home. One still ponders ; What is this guy Ric up to? Does he really adore Liz as much as she loves him?His intentions are rather fuzzy for now.Is there really going to be " A ONE WOMAN ART EXHIBIT"?
At the end of today's episode, we find that Carly is all right. Yet, her doctor warns her about stress, etc. Ric appears at her bedside which shakes her up.How deceptive can a guy be?
The door is open to the secret room in Ric and Liz's abode. Is someone watching Elizabeth or did Ric foolishly forget to secure that door? Tune in tomorrow to find out.
