General Hospital Update for Friday, 25-Apr-2003

Jax is about to write Tracy the cheque when Skye stops him. Skye has called the entire family for a meeting at the Q's and Tracy is obviously dipleased. Rae comes in to receive her usual warm welcome from Monica. Alan realizes it must be serious at the sight of Rae.
Skye urges Tracy to share her news with the Q's, but she dodges doing so and tries to beat down Skye's credibility. Skye eventually gets to it, and shockingly goes around the room, like: "...so you're not my father...and you're not my brother..." as it starts to really sink in. They all look to Rae who admits that she lied.

Alan stands up and tells Skye that she is his daughter, regardless of the DNA, and nothing will change that. The about face the Q's take here is a bit unrealistic IMO as they have never all really welcomed and loved Skye, yet they really jump in for her defense. Ned offers her a job at ELQ (I missed that part but read it somewhere later).

Skye then excuses herself to be the one to tell Lila. The Q's ask Tracy how much she was blackmailing Skye for, and Jax tells them 5 million. Tracy is trying to fast talk her way out of it. Skye is in another room with Lila and tells her she is not her granddaughter and that Rae lied. Lila tells her she will always be her granddaughter and they share a nice moment. Lila asks what does Tracy have to do with this?

Next thing you know, Skye comes back to the Q's and tells Tracy, "Lila wants to talk to you." Lila looks disgusted and tells Tracy to be out of the Q mansion within the hour. Tracy protests but knows she is defeated.

When Ned and Tracy have a moment alone, he tells her that although the Q's have done some despicable things, the one thing that differentiates her from the rest of them is loyalty. He tells her she has none and this was an act solely for her own gain. He is appalled and storms off; obviously this is her goodbye.

As for Alan and Rae, he does not seem angry as he approaches her alone. Rae confesses she loved Alan so much and wanted him to father a child of hers so badly. Alan tells Rae that he feels he owes her a debt of gratitude for giving him his daughter Skye. She looks touched but then he curtly tells her goodbye with finality in his voice.

Dillon gets Georgie out of a test she wasn't ready for by getting someone to call the school and impersonate her dad, calling her home for an emergency. Lucas tells Dillon to stay away from Georgie and she is thrilled Lucas is protecting her. She is scared about skipping school at first but goes to her house to watch a movie with Dillon. Mac finds them and chases Dillon out. When Dillon arrives back at the Q's, Tracy's bags are already be the door, and Dillon says, "That was fast." Tracy tells him that she is going but he is staying. She says he will live here in PC and take his rightful place in the Q family, much to his surprise.

Jason comes to Sonny with some files he stole from Ric's apartment. It's Sonny's whole life, his grades from school, his whole childhood background, and a picture of a woman that is so dated it appears to be his mother (speculation on my part). Carly comes in and Sonny fills her in on the fact that Ric is obsessed with him. They give Carly more reassurance that what happened was not her fault. Michael comes home and Sonny and Carly tell him about the baby. Michael and Carly fold laundry and she reassures him they won't love the new baby more than him. Micahel then asks if "daddy stole me" like that man on the pier (AJ) said.

Faith says she's ready to talk and Sonny goes to see her. She tells Sonny she remembered something and he says he doesn't believe her. She protests and tells him that if Ric were running, he'd go to Martha's vineyard. She says he mentioned before that he grew up there and always talked about how beautiful it was. And that if they went to his apartment, there is a painting of it. This seems to really affect Sonny.

At Kelly's, Liz gets a call from Ric and goes to meet him, and Courtney is suspicious as they exchange nasty words. Courtney goes to follow her but Sonny's man has already been assigned to tail Liz. Courtney goes in the alley next to Kelly's and spots and starts chasing Ric, who is injured and running.

She follows him to his apartment and calls Jason. She is grabbed from behind before she can talk and Ric tells her, "I can't believe how happy I am you stoppped by." Somehow Courtney gets the gun from Ric and does some cool jump-kick and punch combos and slams him to the floor. She calls Jason and only gets out,"I'm at Rick's-shriek!" so obviously Jason is on his way to her rescue. In the previews she is gagged when Jason enters the apartment and Ric has a gun on Jason first.
