General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 12-Mar-2003

This is a big boy game! That's what Sonny tried to get through to Faith on today's show. As Faith returned to her hotel room, she was meet by Sonny. Who informed her that he knew that she was behind the hit and then proceeded to offer her a glass of Sherry(the same drink that she used when she poisoned her grandmother and the hit woman). Faith tried to talk her way out of it, by playing the defenseless woman routine but Sonny saw through all that. He told her that she messed up when she had someone take a shot at him and his wife and missed. Now she has to die. He gave the option of drinking the Sherry and going out the easy way. She decline and he let her know that she is dead and when he aims for somebody he doesn't miss.(OOOOH she was scared, she kept jumping and was about to cry). Faith was so scared that she ran to Scotty to ask for police protection. Scotty told her that he hopes Sonny kills her so that he can have a reason to arrest him. Jason met with Bennie who was scared because Sonny is ge
tting out of control. Jason assured Bennie that he was still going to look after Sonny even though Sonny doesn't want his help. Edward visited Alexis and called her an unfit mother before he was thrown out by Cameron. Alexis was later visited by Zander who informed her that Scotty had tried to blackmail him into spying on Alexis for him by threaten to put him in jail(does he not know who Zander is). Zander told him he would rather go to jail and advised Alexis not to trust his father(Cameron). Carly and Ric had words again with Ric continuing to insuiate that he might be the father of Carly's baby. While Cortney was at the hospital about to deliver Ric some homemade cookies as thanks for saving Sonny's life(she is so gullible) she ran into Elizabeth. Elizabeth accussed Cortney of trying to get involved with Ric and then grabbed her and caused her to drop the cookies(Is there anybody out there besides me that believes Elizabeth needs a good slapping. I mean she just been getting away with a whole lot lately.) Sonny visited Ric in the hospital and Ric started making comments about he was doing alright after taking a bullet for Sonny and Carly. Sonny stated that he wanted to reward Ric for his efforts and ask him did he want cash or check. Ric told Sonny that he had proven his loyalty by taking a bullet meant for Sonny. Sonny told him he didn't see it that way, he believes that Ric was just in the wrong place at the right time. Sonny left Ric's room and Carly walked in as Ric was ranting and trying to leave his hospital bed. He commentted to Carly that he has tried everything to get Sonny to trust him and nothing work. Ric was notably upset. Back at home Sonny told Carly that he was going to hire Ric as an attorney. Later Ric showed up at Faith's hotel room and pulled a gun on her but then asked her if she needed partner to bring down Sonny. Finnaly Ric shows his true intentions, but we still don't know why Ric wants to destroy Sonny.

Today's Lesson: If someone drops your cookies on the floor, kick them in the knee caps, but if they were homemade kick their butt.
