General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 5-Mar-2003

The Cellar:
Liz is there to borrow some plates for Kelley's and Carly yells at her for not asking first. Carly has a dizzy spell and Liz questions it but Carly just brushes her off.

At Kelly's:
LIz tells courtney how rude Carly was and says that she should of asked. Liz replys that she is getting more and more like Carly. Carly and courtney talk about not telling anyone about her maybe being pregnant b/c she has to take one and carly asks court not to tell anyone yet. She agrees.
The counter of Kelly'S:
Rick defends Carly's decision not to announce her pregnancy to the world. Liz says that she sometimes forgets how close Carly and Ric are. Ric is surprised to learn that a marriage as strong as Carly's and Sonny's started out as a marriage of convenience. Liz describes Sonny's devastation over Carly's miscarriage.

The Grill:
Skye is upset over meetin Coleman at the Grill. He points out that Jacks is having lunch with a call girl and that he knows her b/c she used to strip for him at his club when she was in college and some of his girls keep in touch with her. She goes over and tells Jacks he is having lunch with a call girl he says he already knows.Skye ask if Jax has lost his mind and when she starts lecturing him, he sends his date up to his room to wait for him. Jax insists that he accepts/likes the concept of sex and pleasure being a business deal and a money tranaction. Skye begs Jax not to give up on life and love. Jax believes Skye should be reveling in his misery and apologizes for ever telling Skye that love was the answer because all it does is make a mess of everything.Skye makes him an offer to come to her when he finally realizes that he's made the wrong decision. Jax excuses himself and walks off to join his date. Coleman rejoins Skye and asks her back to Jake's with him. Skye philosophizes that hell is a place you choose to go and no one can pull you out before you're ready. She chugs down her vodka and then kisses coleman and agrees to go play pool with him.

PH1:
Sonny and Jason try to figure out who hired Sam the hit man and suspect that Ned must have bankrolled it since Sam is so expensive and Faith couldn't afford the hit. Sonny is frustrated that it appears he can do nothing but wait for the hit.
Sonny says then he may have to send mikee and his pregnant wife away. jason is shocked and sonny revels that carly may be pregnant. They talk about how Sonny is scared of having a child but he does want one.
Carly comes in and asks if Jason can go and take Mikee at the park so Letica Can have the rest of the day off.

In an elevator:
Sam informs Faith that since Sonny is so hard to get to, the deal's off and she'll get half her money back because Sam is keeping half for wasting her time. Faith offers to pay extra for more planning and learns it will cost double Sam's regular rate because of the extra guns Sonny has protecting him, especially Jason. Faith tells Sam that with her recent inheritance, she can pay whatever it takes to get rid of Sonny.


At PH1:
Carly beams when she tells Sonny the results are positive but fear and apprehension are in her eyes when she hugs him. Carly explains her tears and sees the fear in Sonny's eyes. He admits he's being an idiot and that he's afraid to have a child because he's afraid he'll lose it. Sonny promises to take care of Carly and the baby at any cost. Sonny wants Ric to run the club for Carly but she won't hear of it. She promises to let Sonny watch what she eats but not treat her like an invalid. Sonny doesn't want to tell anyone else their good news.


The Park:
Courtney and Mikee are playing with Rosie. Jason sees and Courntey and his eyes meet. Michael is happy to see Jason. Courntey says she can leave but Michael wants her and Rosie to stay so he can train Rosie. Jason says just stay where i can see you. Courtney starts to tell about how she had two dogs but her mom wouldn't let her keep them b/c she thought it was too much work. Her mom never appreciated the things that money could not buy. Courtney starts in on their relationship and why they can't be together. Michael stops them and asks why Jason is making courtney cry. they explain to mikee that they would not want to hurt each other and that it is grown up mushy stuff(great scene). Courtney leaves as she gives both Mikee and Jason a kiss on the cheek and whispers to jas that she loves him.

At Faith's Hotel Room:
Ned and Faith's pouncing on each other is interrupted by the late Catherine's lawyer Brett.
Faith advises Ned to be nice to her since she no longer needs his money. Faith comes right out and asks how much money she is going to get. Faith is extremely shocked to learn that all that she recieved was a ring and no money. The lawyer explains that the will was changed right after the new year when Catherine decided the inherited money was cursed. Faith vows to contest the will although Brett assures her it's iron clad. Ned taunts Faith with the fact that she now has to be nice to him. After sex, Faith asks Ned for a million dollars for the next step to eliminate Sonny. He won't give her a dime until he knows every detail of her real plan. He does not want to be a part of violence.

At PH1:
Jason helps Mikee with his jacket as MIkee wants pizza for dinner. Mikee tells jason that courtney is nice and jason wants courtney to be happy. then he asks if that is why jason loves courtney.

The Cellar:
Carly shares her news with Courtney and she congratulates her and Sonny. When Sonny notices Courtney is in a happier mood, she explains that it's because she knows she and Jason will someday be together and Jason will come back to her. Sonny gets a call from Benny informing him that Catherine left a large fortune but he doesn't know for sure wether or not Faith inherited it. Sonny fears all that money in Faith's hands spells violence b/c now that she has money she no longer needs to do things Ned's way. Ric offers Carly a sample of their new wine and she turns around and gives it to a patron-the hit woman Sam. Ric's grows even more suspicious. Sam eyes Carly and Sonny at a nearby table.
