(My first post - constructive critiques encouraged!)

Sonny and Carly are at the dock. Carly is still pissed. “Brenda’s a trophy. I’m a consolation prize.” Sonny tries to assure Carly that she is his life and he will fight for their marriage. They go home and have make-up sex with much reluctance on Carly’s part. Later Sonny suggests they go to Carly’s club, which, someone help me out, I can’t remember the name of. They see Ric and Liz are at the club, at which point Carly climbs all over Sonny, full of l’amour. Ric approaches them and apologizes to Carly for having “crossed a line last night.” Carly covers and brushes him off to dance with Sonny. Sonny gets a call and has to leave; Carly warns Ric that last night never happened.

Liz is all kinds of shocked at seeing Ric with a gun. Ric is all kinds of shocked that Liz walked in on him and his gun. (Not really, but honestly, why does anyone stay upstairs at Kelly’s if the doors don’t lock?) Liz tells Ric he should leave town if he thinks Sonny is after him. Ric tells her he’s come too far for that. Liz gets nothing out of him when she interrogates him about why he came to Port Charles and why he doesn’t talk about his past. (Perhaps she and Scott could give Felicia’s detective agency a run for its money.)

Faith: I’m evil and intimidating.
Courtney: I’m not afraid of you, Mrs. Roscoe.
Jason gives Faith the borg look and she exits. Then he warns Courtney to go far away. Courtney refuses to give up on them. Mike walks in, Jason leaves them alone. (Poor Mike, can they not write any lines for him that don’t have to do with his pain over having abandoned his families?) He compares Courtney to Sonny’s mother and warns her that she’ll never come first with Jason because he’s as addicted to his job as Mike was to gambling.

Brenda (wearing one of the cuter outfits I’ve seen her in since her return – a soft gathered leathery girlie blouse) tells Jax she’d never take money from him to stay away and asks him if he’s trying to make her feel like a prostitute and if he was ever in love with her. Jax said that the Brenda he loved died years ago – that he thought he could get over the Sonny thing but couldn’t after all. Oh, I see your ex-husband is home, have a nice trip. Brenda endorses his check and tells him to give it to the foundation for battered women “and while you’re there you can find a new girl to rescue.” (That was a fine Brenda moment.) Jason gives Brenda account to start over, from him, not from Sonny. She is very grateful and he holds her as she cries. Then they’re at the airport and back to bickering but have a delightful conversation about their futures.
B: I have these really bad wedding days
J: Next time do it like we did
B: Minus the love
J: Minus the wedding
J: Good luck. Call me.
B: Go after Courtney. Of everyone I’ve ever known you most of all deserve to be happy
Hug Goodbye
J: I’m really gonna miss your cookies. Classic borg exit in which he’s holding his head as when one has a headache.
Brenda is lost in a Sonny-Jax-Brenda montage to Avril Lavigne’s “I’m with you,” and is rudely awakened from daydream by flight attendant threatening to close the airplane doors.

Later Jason finds Courtney waiting for him in his apartment, tension and drama, Courtney pleading, Jason borging, Courtney leaves.

Coleman and Skye are making out in Brenda’s old digs, Coleman tries to persuade her to go further with him; Skye is tempted but it’s not in the Get Jax Back plan, so, no thank you. They go to Kelly’s for a non-alcoholic lunch. While they’re bickering Skye sees Jax at the door and loudly tells Coleman to stop threatening her. Jax ‘rescues’ her, then they take a walk on the dock. Jax tells her he was on his way to offer Carly a shoulder to cry on in case she was in a mood to stick it to Sonny. Skye reminds Jax that scheming over sticking it to Sonny was how they first got together. Good times, good times.

Back at Kelly’s, Faith is recruiting someone to help get Sonny through Courtney, it turns out to be Coleman
