General Hospital Update for Tuesday, 4-Feb-2003

Courtney and Jason discuss the reasons for telling Sonny about their relationship and the reasonds for not telling him just yet. Courtney is worried that things won't go well when they tell him, but Jason insists that the time is right, and Sonny deserves to know. Courtney is worried that the little private world that they have created for themselves is going to fall apart and their happiness won't be as great as it is now. Jason assures her that everything's going to be just fine.

Ric stands outside Courtney and Jasons window witnessing the two sharing close moments, and he starts to grin. Probably thinking that he now has some leverage on Sonny. Sonny calls Ric and asks him to come to the Penthouse, they have some business to discuss.

Sonny and Carly begin to pack for a winter vacation at a cabin upstate. They playfully bicker about the choice of wardrobe they both are bringing. They start to get close when Ric arrives. Sonny apologizes to Carly, but he has to talk to Ric.

Jason arrives at the Penthouse looking for Sonny. Ric comes out and informs Jason that Carly and Sonny had left. Jason demands to know what Ric is doing there. Ric happily informs Jason that he's there because Sonny asked him to be. He informs him that he's there making arrangments for Courtney going to college. Jason obviously wasn't aware of any of this and Ric just tells him that he's sure that Jason knew all this already, being that he's Sonny's best friend and all. (he's loving rubbing this in his face, since he knows their little secret)Jason, confused, leaves and heads back to the loft.

Courtney arrives at Kelly's looking for Bobbie. She finds Elizabeth instead, who once again is being a total bitch to her. She wants to know why she's there, again, and Courtney tells her that she wants to take a few days off, and she wants to clear it with Bobbie first. Elizabeth questions if she's sick or not, since she certainly doesn't look it. Courtney then just says it to her face that she's going to spend a few days with Jason.

Sonny and Carly arrive at the cabin. Very nice cabin if i may say so. Sonny informs Carly that he would never allow Jason to pursue a relationship with his sister. Carly then tells Sonny that since "all systems are a go" she wants to finally have his child.

Elizabeth is with Ric as they spy on Jason and Courtney leaving to go to confront Sonny at the cabin. She sees them kiss and then just assumes that the two are heading off to elope.

Alexis is confronted by Cameron who wants to know is she would know why Ned is seeking a woman who looks very much like Kristina. Alexis becomes defensive when Cameron asks her about how she is grieving.

Brenda tells a stunned Jax that she didn't get the annulment with Jason as planned. She explains the circumstances that they met in the Dominican Republic and that they both felt that they would rather get the annulment in New York where they were sure it was legal. She also tells him that she would like to wait and not rush into a wedding. He questions her reasons for not getting the annulment and not wanting to get married, but she tries to reassure him that she does want to marry him, but she sees no need to rush into things.

Scotty brings Skye into the station to have her give them a recording of her voice so they could send it off to some experts on voice matching. They want to determine if the woman that called his office confessing is in fact Skye. She allows them to record her voice, but then assures Scotty that he won't get away with trying to frame her. Skye then goes to Alcazar's suite at the hotel to try again to trigger some memories. She suddenly remembers going to the door of the bedroom and seeing another woman fleeing his room. Scotty then barges in having followed her and demands that she stay still so they can arrest her. Apparently the voices matched (or it was close enough that Scotty decided he could use it to his advantage) She demands that they not take her in since she knows that there was another woman in the room. Scotty ignores her statement and then Skye runs to the balcony and gets on the ledge and she threatens to jump if they try and get her. Scotty calls Cameron and informs him that Skye is on the ledge. He and Alexis leave and head to the hotel. Jax also gets a call about Skye. Apparently she will only talk to him. Cameron gets there and attempts to pursuade Skye to get down, but it doesn't work. Jax then arrives, much to the delight of a manipulating Skye. Her plan is going very well so far.
