General Hospital Update for Friday, 3-Jan-2003

As always, Fridays often leave devoted GH viewers hanging. Well, Ida was left hanging too. No pun intended, but someone shut poor Ida up for good? Was it one of Alcazar's enemies? Was it AJ? Who knows? This reader has a stong intuitive feeling that NONE of THE SONNY- JASON - BRENDA clan axed Alcazar. It is a question or thought to ponder. Right?I wish things could move a tad faster in a soap.Do you? General Hospital is the one to remedy this snail approach. Right?
Summer asks Luke :" Who am I now? Am I Summer or Laura?" Luke tells her that she is now Summer. Later, when his car breaks down, Summer asks: "When are we going to have sex?" Luke informs her that this is not a part of the plan.Summer then tells him that she likes reliving his dreams because then she doesn't have to relive her own.What is the lovely, mystery woman hiding? As she fixes Luke's car, she tells him that her dad taught her about engines, etc. In a sense, Summer went on to say:" I care for you, Luke." "You are one of a kind."Is anyone else a little tired of this triangle with Luke, Laura, and Summer? Wish Laura's stay in the hospital could become a part of GH.This would be excellent! Of course, Gina Frances may have left GH for good.
Jax and Brenda get into a major argument when Jax questions her loyalty to Sonny. He says:" I feel as if you are pulling away from me." Later, she asks him not to see her again. DUH, Can anyone see the tension mounting between Sonny and the vixen Brenda? It may be lust, but Carly still feels intimidated by Brenda.Woe is Brenda!All the beauties still detest her charms.
When the handsome Ric goes to give Ida a payoff from Sonny for a happy life, Ric finds her hanging from the ceiling. Scott, our funny, inquisitive DA asks Taggert to turn over a tape that Gia made when she, unlawfully,interviewed Ida earlier. The new Gia is not an attorney yet so she has dug a hole for herself. As she is about to throw the tape into the water, her dear bro Taggert stops her.He wants her to respect the law and him too.Will this teach the brazen Gia anything?
The ALL -KNOWING Carly tells Courtney to always be upfront and honest with Jason. She said: ''WITH men like Sonny and Jason, We can't screw things up for them." What else does this little mob wife do for fun? :-)Courtney ventures to tell Jason how she spilled the beans to AJ. Jason tells her that this is why he does not discuss his work with anyone. Courtney says: "I think I know who killed Ida."
At the close of today's episode, Brenda has a frightful nightmare about Alcazar's tying her down to give her a shot. Guess who shows up to comfort her? Sonny is there for her... that's for sure. Is Brenda going to put Sonny's life in jeopardy IS Jax going to finally realize that Brenda's love is NOT he?Tune in on Monday to see.
