In the air…

Jax is on an airplane headed back to Port Charles.

At the police station…

Scott goes up to Taggert and wonders if Brenda has arrived yet. Taggert admits that he tried to tell her that Jason and Sonny are on their way to prison if she doesn’t show up, but he can’t guarantee she will indeed show up. Taggert informs Scott that the witness got away, but Scott is barely bothered. Taggert announces that Scott’s case would be much stronger with the actual eyewitness and not just a statement from her. Just then, Brenda shows up and says she is there to turn herself in. Scott thinks she made the right move and Brenda wonders if that was a smart move on his part, to arrest Sonny and Jason so she would come back. Just then, Jax shows up at the police station. Scott tells someone to take Brenda into the interrogation room to take her confession. Brenda says she isn’t confessing, she is only there because she heard what happened and came to clear things up. Alone, Brenda apologizes to Jax. He accepts and offers 100% support. Meanwhile, Taggert warns Scott not to mess up the whole case with his actions.

At the Corinthos penthouse…

Carly says she doesn’t have any regrets and wouldn’t change a thing about them – except for when she tried to force Sonny into the witness protection program – but doesn’t he ever think about things being different, doesn’t he ever dream of a different life? Sonny says it isn’t worth it, that he has everything he wants with her. He says he’s already made his choices and he can’t go back. (I swear, they’ve had this conversation SO many times, I can barely restrain myself from fast-forwarding). Sonny says he’s worked hard for the things he has: money, power, respect, Carly.... She wonders if he can’t have all those things AND safety. He says he gets so frustrated that she never lets these things drop (I KNOW!!) and changes the topic to her eating raw cookie dough. He finds that annoying and is willing to put up with it because he loves her. (How touching!) Anyway, before he finishes the analogy, the conversation is interrupted by Sonny’s cell phone, getting word that Brenda turned herself in. He apologizes to Carly but takes off to check on Brenda. As soon as he is gone, Carly calls Ric and tells him to get over there before she does something crazy. When he arrives, Ric first apologizes for pushing Sonny to take his business legitimate. She tells him it is important for her to focus on her life and start her club. They look at the blueprints and work orders for the basement of Kelly’s again and wonder what could be behind that wall. Curiosity has the best of them and they decide to go take a look.

At the Quartermaine house…

As Jason watches from the terrace, AJ asks Courtney how far she is willing to go to save her boyfriend, like she was willing to strip to save him. She mouths off and he warns her to watch her tongue, which causes her to raise her arm as if to slap him. Jason rushes in and tackles AJ, punches him, and holds him against the desk in a chokehold. Courtney tells him to let go, but Jason resists. Finally, Courtney tells Jason it was her idea to go over there and see AJ and begs him to PLEASE let him go. Finally, Jason relents and starts to ask for more details about what she planned on doing, but then he gets a call that Brenda turned herself in, so he doesn’t have time to talk to Courtney. He says he has to go to Brenda, but first, he is going to take Courtney home.

At Coleman’s office…

Ida recognizes Skye from Alcazar’s terrace. Skye is not happy that Ida recognizes her and warns her not to change her story. Ida confesses how scared she is of Sonny and how he wants her dead. She wants out and warns Skye that she could go to the cops and tell the truth about having seen HER on the terrace the night he was murdered. When Skye asks more questions about what Ida really did see that night, Ida soon realizes that Skye doesn’t even remember what happened. Eventually, Ida reveals that she saw Skye and Alcazar kiss and she dropped her drink. That was the only time she saw Skye on the terrace. Skye suggests Ida just take more money to keep her story the way it is. After some negotiation, they settle on Skye’s diamond bracelet and earrings, plus $100,000. Ida agrees to show up at the police station and stick to her story.

Later, Skye gets a delivery and opens it up to find her divorce papers from Jax. She asks Coleman to leave so she can sink to the floor in tears alone. First, though, she flashes back to the happy times. The happy time, at least. Her wedding.

At Faith Roscoe’s hotel suite…

Ned and Faith are really going at it. She even purposely bites his lip. Oww! She even draws blood. Later, after a round of sex, Ned gets dressed and readies to leave, but Faith, on a heap on the floor, isn’t happy that he is leaving. As he nears the door, she fires a gunshot at him and warns him not to leave without saying good-bye. He takes the hint and goes to her again. They make it to the bed and just as they get hot and heavy, Ned reminds her that she wanted to take it real slow. They also agree that there are no strings attached and either can walk away at any time. Ned takes this opportunity to get out of bed and leave. She cannot believe it!

At the neo-natal unit at General Hospital…

Cameron shows up, responding to an apparent page by Alexis. He jokes around, wondering what the emergency is. “Are you annoying the staff about Kristina again? Did she pass a gas bubble and you panicked? I know, you got a paper cut!” Alexis hands him a dossier. Apparently, she had him investigated and has his whole life in paper in front of her – save four missing years. Before the missing years, he was a vascular surgeon with a wife and family and now afterwards, he is a psychiatrist without a wife and a family. Cameron can’t believe she did all this research on him and wonders if she does this to all the people she meets. He throws out some psycho-babble, but Alexis deftly tells him he is avoiding answering her questions. Cameron reminds her that if it wasn’t for him, she would’ve been banned from the neo-natal unit weeks ago. He can’t believe the thanks he is getting. Before the conversation can continue, Alexis gets a call from Jax asking her to help Brenda.

Later, Alexis walks into the room and finds Ned there, checking on Kristina. She notices his wounded lip and they have terse conversation. He says he is there to spend time with his daughter, whether she likes it or not. He reminds her that he let Lois take Brooke Lynn out of his life and now he barely knows her, so he is not going to let that same thing happen with Kristina. He says that she can’t dictate when or how much he sees Kristina. Alexis says she really doesn’t want him to just drop in whenever he feels like it. Ned warns her to, “Get used to it.” Alexis tells him she has work to do and he suggests she go to her office to work. Alexis wonders what happened to Ned, why he is so angry with her. He says he is going to be Kristina’s father whether she likes it or not. Alexis doesn’t think she does like it. Ned wonders if she would prefer the alternative.

At the police station…

Sonny arrives at the police station and he and Jax have some words. Same old, same old. Both want to help Brenda and don’t want the other to help. Sonny tells Jax it is his fault Brenda is there – that he took her out of the country and made her a fugitive and then couldn’t follow through. Brenda overhears the last part of the conversation and tells Sonny he is wrong, that it was her decision to come back. Brenda is taken away to get processed. Jason shows up, wondering where Brenda is. Scott mocks him as the “concerned little husband.” Alone, Jason and Sonny wonder who paid Ida off if it wasn’t AJ. Just then, who shows up at the police station but Ida. She sees Sonny grinning at her and gets spooked a little. Sonny says hello to her and suggests she has some misunderstanding regarding him. He tells her he hopes she is able to clarify her witness statement. Before Scott can drag her away to check out the lineup, Sonny notices her diamond bracelet. Jason astutely tells Sonny that he thinks Ida is lying. Sonny thinks Ida showing off the bracelet means she is for sale to the highest bidder. They think if not AJ, then perhaps Skye is paying her off and they think all they have to do is pay a higher amount. In the lineup, Ida easily identifies Brenda. Brenda is taken away and wonders where her lawyer is. Why, in the neo-natal unit, of course! Where else?

At the basement of Kelly’s…

Ric and Carly have arrived to knock down the wall. Bobbie is a little reluctant to go along with it, though, and worries that the bricks might actually be holding up the structure. Carly finally gets Bobbie to admit that she is a tiny bit curious, too and then she finally agrees and Ric starts hacking away. Once he gets a decent-sized hole cut away, Carly walks through and is startled, “Oh my God!”
