General Hospital Update for Monday, 23-Dec-2002

@Rooftop
Luke tries to pursuade Cameron to turn around and look at Summer. Cameron insists that Luke is just stalling jumping, and Luke swears to him that he's not. Finally, Cameron decided to get the jump over with and as he turns around to get up, he suddenly stops dead in his tracks. Luke asks him if he sees her.

@Corinthos Penthouse
Micahel refuses to let go of Sonny despite Carly's efforts. Taggert tells Michael that they're not going to hurt his daddy.Sonny tells Michael to goupstairs with Carly and that everything is going to be okay. Michael asks about the star he made for the tree. He says "Daddy has to hang it on the tree." Taggert, almost looking sorry that he's putting Michael through all this, says "Not tonight" Carly tells Taggert that he's sick for doing this to such a young child. Taggert, sympathy face gone, suggests that maybe Michael will learn something from all of this.

@Quartermaine's
As the lights are out, Mac asks everyone to not put up an argument and that he's looking for Brenda. He asks if anyone has seen her that evening. Mac suddenly notices Skye and Skye, drunkenly says "Brenda and my husband are probably halfway to Canada by now, you idiots." Edward insists to Mac to not listen to Skye, since she's obviously drunk. Skye "Just tryin' to do my part."Mac asks A.J the same question and he shoots back why they aren't looking for Jason, and Mac informs him that they are in fact looking for Jason also. Lila begins to get agitated at the whole situation. Mac sees Coleman and asks him, with good reason,what the hell he is doing at the Q's. Skye announces that Coleman is her gust for the evening. The lights go back on as Ned asks Mac why they aren't going after Sonny. Mac wants to know where Brenda and Jason are and Skye looks as if she knows all and she's gonng spill the beans. The police start to search the grounds, but Lila insists on seeing a search warrant. Mac presents papers to Lila while Monica tells Alan that she hasn't seen Jason or Brenda tonight and neither has he. Coleman, making light of the whole situation, asks Skye and A.J if this is routine at their place, with the cops and all. A.J "You'd be suprised." Ned asks Skye why she's wasting her time feeling sorry for herself instead of being out for revenge. Skye shoots back to Ned the question of why he didn't tell the police that Jason and Brenda were here. Ned answers that he's going to get revenge in his own way, since the police or nobody else can seem to get ahold of him.

In Woods
Jax and Brenda are fleeing when Jason comes up behind Jax and knocks him to the ground. Jason grabs a protesting Brenda and runs. Jax gets up and starts to follow them, but the cops stop him dead in his tracks.

@Penthouse
Sonny questions Taggert's morals. Taggert tells him that he can come quietly and not cause anymore drama for Michael. Carly tells Taggert to can it. Sonny tells Taggert that he needs a moment with his son and he's told to make it quick. Taggert asks Courtney where Jason is, assuming that she's got more than friendly feelings toward Jason.Courtney shoots back that that's an absurd question since Jason is probably with his wife, not with her.Sonny tries to reassure Michael. Michael asks Sonny what they're going to do to him and Sonny says that they're only going to ask him a few questions and he asks him to take care of his mommy for him. Michael then asks Sonny when they're going to put the star on the tree and Sonny promises Michael that he'll be home for Christmas. Taggert tells Courtney that he has no doubt that Sonny loves his family dearly, but it's always the one's that are closest to him that get hurt the most.

@Rooftop
Cameron introduces himself to Summer. He admits to Luke that yes, Summer is real, and Luke's not imagining her. Luke waves off the news chopper and Cameron yells up "He didn't jump. Sorry!!" Luke "Maybe next time!" Summer worries about her safety and Luke promises that he won't let anything happen to her.

@Quartermaine's
Jax insists to the cop that he was merely outside for some fresh air and that he hasn't seen either Brenda or Jason tonight. The cop warns him to not go anywhere.
Edard begins the bickering over Mac's search warrant. Everyone chimes in with protest and nagging. Mac only wants to know if they've seen Brenda or Jason, simple question and they're all making this as difficult as possible. Edward lets slip that Jax was there. Skye tells Coleman, amidst the bickering "You wanted to see how rich people live? Isn't it grand!?" Edward tries to convince Mac nobody's there.Skye heads outside and Jax grabs her. She tries to tell him that Brenda is a murderer and that he's gonna go down with her. Alexis is speaking to Felicia and Felicia informs her that Ida spoke to Scottie.

@Hospital
One of the suites at the hospital is trying to get Cameron to agree to keep Luke at the hospital, for liability purposes. Cameron vouches for Luke's sanity and tells him that it's best if they just let Luke go. Luke and Summer leave the hospital together.

@Penthouse
Carly asks Courtney if she wants to go to the station with her. Courtney wonders what she's supposed to do down there. Carly tells her that they're going to go to support their men, and that it makes a difference. Courtney wonders if Jason managed to get away.

@Cottage
Jason brings a protesting Brenda to her cottage so she can pack and they can leave immediately. Brenda protests and tells Jason that she has changed her mind and she doesn't want to go with him. Jax comes from behind Jason and knocks him out cold.

@Quartermaine's
They all continue to insist that Brenda isn't there. Mac announces that if they don't all shut their mouths he'll bring them all in to the station. Mac tells him that the house will indeed be watched and they will be arrested if they are found to be lying to the police or harboring either Jason or Brenda. Skye insists to all of them that Brenda is a killer and that Jax and Jason are probably duking it out right now over who gets to take her away. They all doubt that Brenda is capable of killing anyone. Skye, clearly agitated that nobody believes her still, yells that she saw it all happen! Edward insists on knowing why she keeps saying that and Skye yells back that it's the truth. Alan offers to take Skye home safely and Skye wishes that she had never come to find her family. She breaks down in A.J's arms

@Cottage
Jax is tying up Jason to the railing when Brenda comes down with her bags and immediately orders Jax to let Jason go. Jax insits that that's a bad idea, he might try to follow them to the airport and Brenda assures Jax that Jason would follow them. He only wants to get Brenda out of the country since that's what he promised to do for her. They leave and Jason opens his eyes. He's fine, he just pretended to be knocked out cold after a certain point, so he could start getting away.

@PCPD
Alexis arrives and Felicia tells her Ida's statement to the cops and that she identified Jason as the person who paid her off. Alexis asks her if Ida was shown a photo line up and Felicia says that Ida was only shown two photo's, one of Jason and one of Sonny. Carly arrives, see's Alexis and tells her that if she's there to represent Sonny that she can forget it. Alexis gladly says that she's not as her eyes meet with Sonny's

@Summer's apartment
Luke thanks Summer for showing up. She says that she no longer wants anything to do with Luke and he should leave. Luke asks Summer if she would consider just leaving all this behind and if she's gonna be running from this guy all her life. He inisits that she can stop the call girl gig and start a new life. She orders him to leave, but he sticks around and offers his help

@PCPD
Sonny asks Alexis if she's responsible for the eyewitness and Alexis says yes she is. She was obligated to bring that witness to the police. He questions if Alexis is still holding him responsible for what happened to Kristtina and Alexis tells him that he can't even say the words. Sonny tells her that they both know that he had nothing to do with Alcazar's murder and that she should check Jax's bank account for possible pay off money. She doesn't just because it would do him some good.

@Cottage
Jason breaks free of the bidings only to find that the cops have surrounded the cottage.

@Quartermaine's
A.J urges Skye to not live up to the Q's low expectations of her. Monica urges Skye to get out of her house. A.J takes her away. Monica suggests theat Skye is indeed guilty of Alcazar's murder because she certainly had just cause.
Skye tells A.J that she's realized that she's a useless drunk and her family hates her for good reason, she's not Brenda. A.J tries to remind her that she's a suspect for murder. He reminds her that their plan is working, the police are after Jason and Brenda b/c they believe the eyewitness that they paid off. Coleman listens in on their conversation.

@Summer's apartment
Luke hides as Summer greets he client. Luke tries to listen as Summer talks to her client. Summer's client leaves and Summer informs Luke that she told him that she's leaving the call girl business.

On Jax's plane
Brenda admits her fears to Jax about leaving. He assures her that everything is going to work out just fine. Brenda professes her love to Jax.

@PCPD
Jason is brought in and Carly goes to him. He asks her why she brought Courtney with her. Sonny tries to convince Courtney that everything is going to be fine. Taggert comes over and, trying to get Courtney to ditch her brother, gives her the rundown of Sonny's past with the police. Sonny insists to Taggert that both he ans Jason are innocent of any wrongdoing. Taggert tells the two that he's really starting to believe that Brenda killed Alcazar. But if the two of them didn't pay off Ida, then who did.

@Quartermaine's
Coleman comes out re informing A.J and Skye that he's the one who found the witness and he's the one who paid her off. The two of them need him not more than ever.
