General Hospital Update for Thursday, 12-Dec-2002

@ Sonny's Penthouse
Sonny is attempting to get a hold of Brenda to tell her about Jax's bail hearing, when Taggert arrives. Taggery wonders why Sonny called him there and Sonny shows him the tape. He gives it over to Taggert. Taggert leaves, and Carly arrives ready to go to the bail hearing. Sonny tells her that she's not going.

@Lakehouse
Felicia listens to what Skye has to say about the trial and Jax's confession. Felicia questions Skye on if she actually saw Brenda push Alcazar off the balcony. And if she did indeed see Brenda with Alcazar on the balcony why didn't she try to stop her. Just then A.J arrives and wonders what Felicia is doing there.

@Courthouse
Alexis lays down the rules to Jax for how he should behave in court:don't say anything at all. Scotty arrives and claims to Alexis that they both want the same thing.

@Luke's
A sign at the bar reads "Everything must go! Free!" People are clearing pieces of Luke's property out of the bar when Lucky and Cameron arrive. Lucky demands to know what is going on.

@Kelly's
Luke, dressed as Santa, is clearing the money out of the register and giving it away to eager customers. Elizabeth sees this and tries to stop Luke and get the money back. He leaves the place a mob scence. Bobbie arrives and quickly figures it out that Luke was behind all the mess. She's not suprised. Bobbie gets everyone's attention and gets them all to clear out and leave their 'free gifts' behind.

@Luke's
Lucky tries to get people to put down everything, while Cameron tries to explain to him that summer is only a dilusion. Lucky tries to fool himself into believing that Luke has only been drinking a bit too much. He leaves to go find him and Cameron follows right behind.

@PCPD
Luke shows up at the station, still dressed as Santa, "Ho-Ho'ing" down the hall and passing out money. Mac is giving a statement to the press concerning the Alcazar case, when Luke interrupts them. The reporter begins to ask questions about who that is. Mac attempts to get Luke to cut it out. He threatens to lock Luke up and that's when Luke leaves, but not before passing out some more money.

@Lakehouse
Felicia is curious as to why A.J wants to keep her from asking Skye any questions. After Felicia leaves A.J warns Skye that they don't know whose side Felicia is really on. Skye starts to head to the bail hearing. A.J protests at first but Skye manages to convince him to go.

@Courthouse
Scotty tries to convince Alexis that she only wants this over with so she can put Sonny behind bars. Alexis doesn't want to hear it and she returns to Jax. She reprimands him for sacrificing himself solely for Brenda.

@Sonny's Penthouse
Carly protests Sonny insisting that she can't go to the hearing. He simply says that there's no reason for her to go. She doesn't want him to go either then but he says that he has to make sure that Taggert gives the tape to the judge. She tries to get herself to go by reminding him that she's the reason that there's even a tape to give in the firstplace. He still refuses to let her go. He knows that she's just going to get worked up like she always does and do something crazy. He asks her why she always has to make things harder than they have to be.

@Park
Luke is giving money away and the same reporter from the PCPD starts filming him. He asks Luke what he's trying to accomplish. Luke starts talking about lost love and being near the one you love most. Lucky and Cameron watch as Luke is asked by the reporter is he honestly believes that he is Santa Claus. Luke says no, but he says that he wanted to grab some attention and he got it. He says that you don't have to live in a dream world to have fantasies. He then makes a desperate plea to Summer to contact him soon.

@Kelly's
Bobbie tells Elizabeth about the club. Lucas tells Georgie that he thinks that his Uncle Luke is just simply heartbroken. Georgie then removes her jaacket to reveal that she's wearing a skimpier than normal shirt for herself. Lucas is taken back for a sec. Carly arrives in a huff. She storms in wanting to see Bobbie. Bobbie has to run but before Carly can even spit out her problems, she assumes correctly that it's about Sonny. She simply tell Carly to play by the rules and everything will be fine. She then tells Carly to help Georgie, Lucas and Elizabeth clean up Luke's mess. Carly helps by sarcastically complimenting the work being done. Another knock on the door and it's Ric. Carly fumes as she assumes that Sonny ordered him to follow her.

@Courthouse
As Skye arrives at the courthouse Alexis tells her to leave. She blames Skye for Jax being in there because of her obsession and hatred for Brenda. Skye goes over to Jax and he tells her that he was expecting to see Brenda. The judge enters and Alexis asks for minimum bail. The judge is about to set bail when Taggert enters with the tape.

@Park
Luke is continuing to make his desperate plea to Summer to come out and porve that she's real. He asks the reporter to run the tape on the news as soon as he can. Lucky tells his father that he's worried about him. Cameron continues to try to get Luke to admit that Summer isn't real. Luke leaves to go wait for Summer at the club.

@Kelly's
Carly lays into Ric about how she knows that Sonny had her followed and that she doesn't believe that he's not giving to give her any credit for anything. He insists that he hasn't seen Sonny all day.
Maxie arrives and is aphaled to see Georgie wearing her top in an attempt to impress Lucas.
Carly relates to Ric how she can get so frustrated at Sonny sometimes. He points out that maybe Carly isn't cut out to be a mob wife.

@Courthouse
Alexis, Scotty, Taggert and the judge view the tape and they all agree that they see Jax entering the hotel. The judge hears and see's all that he needs too and he denies bail to Jax. Skye erupts in protest and A.J tries to calm her down. Court is adjourned and ALexis asks Jax if he knew about the tape. Scotty blames Sonny for the tape. Sonnt just rubs it in his face that he can't get anything to work for him. Scotty calls Brenda to tell her about Jax being denied bail.

@Kelly's
Ric simply states the true facts about Carly and Sonny's marriage much to Carly's suprise. She then tells him about Club 101 and how that was her mark of independence and how much she loved working on that club.

@Luke's
Luke see's his plea to Summer on the news. Lucky and Cameron arrive and Cameron tells Lucky and Luke that Luke knows that Summer isn't real, that's why he's so desperate to hold on to her. Lucky insists that he wait with Luke for Summer. Luke is certain that Summer will show up. The phone rings and it's not Summer. Luke believes that Lucky thinks that he's completely gone out of his mind. Luke is shocked to see that two men in white suits are there to take him away. He pleads with Lucky to stop them as they take him out. Cameron holds Lucky back and insists to him that he can help his father.

@Kelly's
Ric asks why Carly isn't opening up another club and doing what made her so happy. She says that she wants to stay busy but not if it's because Sonny is pushing her out of the business and not letting her in on anything. She wants to do this because she wants to and no other reason.

@Lakehouse
A.J tells Skye that she has a plan that's gonna get things cleared up concerning Jax

@Courthouse
Scotty tells Jax and Alexis that Sonny is the one who gave the tape to the police. Alexis doubts it, but Jax remains pretty calm and certain that it's only standard that a murder suspect doesn't get bail. Scotty threatens Taggert not to cross him again. Alexis wonders toJax if he's going to make any attempt to help her in the proceedings.

@Sonny's Penthouse
Brenda storms in, furious at Sonny for not telling her about the tape. He asks her if she's checked her messages because he's been trying to get ahold of her all day. He then says that he only helped Jax stall byturning over the tape to the police. If she wants to hear what he has to say about the whole thing she's going to need to pipe down and listen.
