General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 2-Oct-2002

This episode of General Hospital was exciting! These crafty writers are keeping this soap interesting. Please do not let Alexis lose her baby girl or give into marriage with NED. HA Now, for today's story of political ugliness, Mobster Interrogation, and Monica's funny scene. Nicholas has given Alexis a big fat check from the Cassadines for her campaign. In the meantime, SLY SCOTT is giving the press an earful about Alexis, his opponent, being a single mom with child. A courageous Alexis tells them that her personal life is none of their concern. Yet, The Media continue to harrass her.Nick suggests that if this is going to become a NEGATIVE ISSUE that maybe she should marry.Later , we viewers see Ned's belting Scott for making a crude remark about Holy Matrimony. Alexis will, perhaps, stand her ground. Or, Will she have to back down? We'll see.Isn't she still in love with Sonny?????
In the meantime, Jax goes to take clothes to a hidden Brenda. Unfortunately, One can surmise that he still has feelings for her.. Brenda asks Jax many questions about Skye. He sees Brenda naked atop, and she kind of uses this to her advantage.Skye is not a dummy so she is quizzing poor Jason about Jax's whereabouts. Later ,Jason returns to the HIDEOUT and approaches Brenda.It's not that Jax doesn't love Skye, but remember, Brenda may cause a possible TRIAD here. He does say to Pretty Brenda, his lost love, "Skye gave me back my heart". "I Need her as she needs me." As a viewer, I would not wish "A LOST BRENDA"
to tangle with Carly or Skye. :-)These women are adamant about THEIR MEN.
Carly goes to a meeting with ferocious mobsters, but Sonny wires her and tells her precisely what to say. When a Drug issue arises , Carly completely ignores Sonny's info. This is dangerous ,and, of course, Sonny is on pins and Needles. The mob wants to transport drugs through Sonny's territory. Carly says: "NO WAY!" One guy finds her microphone which has been making a noise, and shows it to the gang. One rough man tells Carly that she has guts but no brain. DUH! Anyway, Sonny sends in the police to rescue his lovely, thick -headed Carly. Why did she think that she could take on the mob?
When Monica finished operating on AlcaZar, she said: "I could have killed you before you kill my son Jason." Her ethics as a healer would not allow her to let him die. She says: "I must get meds for you or you will die anyway." The big GOON takes her to GH, and she tries desperately to get Bobbie's attention. She sees Alan so she gives the medication to Alcazar's man, and then, she kisses him.A clever Monica has a jealous spouse who interferes with Alcazar's little DEATH TRAP for this devoted doctor. WAY TO GO MONICA!
Later, when Jax returns home, Skye inquires as to where he has been for sooooooo long. She asks :"Were you with Jason?" A lying Jax gets caught in his own web of deceit when she demands honesty.OOPS...Tune in tomorrow to see what Jax tells Skye.
