General Hospital Update for Friday, 27-Sep-2002

ST. TIMOTHY�S-
Brenda forces Alcazar to put down his gun when she threatens to kill herself if he kills Jax.
As if that wasn�t enough, Brenda then rubs it in by telling him that she never loved him and wishes he had NOT saved her that night four years ago. When she spots Jason quietly entering the room she quickly changes gears, apologizes to Alcazar and pulls him into a hug (presumably to keep Alcazar from noticing Jason). However, the strategy doesn�t work because just as Jason is about to strike him, Alcazar pushes Brenda away and pulls his gun on Jason. The two struggle briefly and Alcazar manages to get the upper hand. Jason ducks behind a sofa, just as Alcazar sends a bullet his way. Alcazar quickly checks, but there is no sign of Jason and much to his dismay, Brenda also managed to slip away during the fracas�
MEANWHILE, Jax and Skye finish exchanging their vows and are officially wed. Skye thanks Jane and John for making her feel like part of their family. Jax surprises Skye with a reception in the church lobby, complete with musicians and cake. Ned makes a touching toast. Skye throws her bouquet which Alexis, as the ONLY single woman present, catches. Courtney unwittingly lets Skye see how much she wanted a �traditional� wedding for herself�

SAFE HOUSE-
Convinced they will find an ongoing �mob� gathering, Scott and Taggart literally bust through the door, just seconds after Sonny hides in the closet. (You would think that a safe house would have some kind of secret room or tunnel or something!) Carly uses everything she can think of to keep them from searching the house. At first she wields her trusty baseball bat, then threatens to call the media and make their harassment of a �grieving widow� public knowledge. That only puts a small damper on Scott�s attitude. It isn�t until Carly threatens to call Bobbie and inform her of Scott�s actions that he finally backs down. After they leave Sonny emerges from his hiding place and tells Carly she did a great job getting rid of them. Carly is nervous and upset by the incident, but Sonny assures her that it will all be over soon�

ST. TIMOTHY�S-
Jason tells Roy that both Brenda and Alcazar are in the church and they separate to search for them. Jason has no luck, but Roy runs into Alcazar. While they are struggling, a shot is fired off. Suddenly one of Alcazar men appears and clubs Roy. Roy is dazed as he falls to the ground, but manages to get away. Alcazar instructs his man to concentrate on finding Brenda before she gets out of the church�
MEANWHILE, outside the church the wedding party awaits the departure of the happy couple. Everyone (including Jason and Roy who are watching from a distance) is surprised when the limo Jax arranged for, suddenly takes off without the bride and groom�
Later, as Courtney leaves the church, she thinks she hears a strange noise, but looks around and does not see anything strange. Shortly after she leaves the area, a man emerges from the bushes and appears to be following her. The man is revealed to be Coleman�

LIMO-
It is revealed that Brenda, who promised the driver $5,000 cash, to take her where she wants to go, commandeered the limo�

COURNTEY�S APT-
Courtney arrives home to find that her apartment is a victim of the power failure. She chats to Rosie (the dog) while she goes around the room lighting candles. When the phone rings she picks it up expecting AJ, but gets a nasty shock when it turns out to be her mysterious caller. This time the call is even creepier as the caller speaks and reveals that he has and IS watching Courtney�

LIMO-
As they drive away from the church, Alcazar orders his man to get everyone on the payroll to stop what they are doing and help in the search for Brenda. A flinch and a gasp of pain alerts the flunky that everything is not right and a closer look at his boss reveals that Alcazar has been shot in the abdomen (during the struggle with Roy we presume). The man suggests they go to the hospital, but Alcazar refuses and orders the flunky to get him back to the �apartment� then help in the search for Brenda�

LAKEHOUSE-
Skye oohs and aahs over the romantically candlelit rooms and positively gushes over the horse drawn carriage Jax had arranged as alternative transportation, weather permitting (it as good thing too cause, well, we all know what happened to the limo). Skye goes to the bedroom to �get ready� for the wedding night. Jax pours a couple glasses of wine and goes about the room blowing out candles. He then repeats the routine out on the terrace. Just as he is about to re-enter the house, a voice calls out from the dark and offers him congratulations. Jax turns around and sees Brenda step out of the shadows�
