General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 25-Sep-2002

Jason rips Carly a new one for doing her “Sopranos” imitation. Carly knows Jason is lying to her and wants to know what the hell’s going on. Jason tells her to quit stirring the pot and just sit tight until Sonny’s home. Carly doesn't get why she can't see Sonny now. Jason tells her that batting practice is over, disarms Carly and leaves. Carly then tells Max that Sonny needs him immediately and then follows the stupid goon right to the safe house.

Roy tells Sonny that Alcazar has had a change of heart. He told him to forget about grabbing Brenda and just blow Jax away. Sonny tells Roy that the Candy Boy’s wedding announcement was leaked so that Alcazar would show up at the church. Sonny figures once he’s rid of Alcazar, everything will go back to normal – yeah, right. Jason, who seems to be getting a little disgusted with his job duties of late, asks Sonny straight out what’s going to happen to Brenda when this mess with Alcazar is over.

Courtney and A.J. exchange words, so do she and Coleman (is that his first or last name?) And Court finds a poster of “Daisy” someone left on a table for her…ick.

Jax makes Skye’s little girl dreams a reality when he surprises her with a dress box and the gorgeous wedding decorations. Hey, if this guy ever needs a real job, maybe he and Elton can be partners in a Wedding Consultant business – (or maybe Elton did the whole shebang and Jax didn’t give him any credit!!!) Lady Jane and John show up and Skye is genuinely touched that Jax’s mom is willing to stand in for the absent Rae. Jax and his dad discuss Alcazar and the probability that he will be an uninvited guest at the ceremony. His father reassures him and wishes him all the happiness in his marriage. Jax finds Skye getting ready and tells her it’s time to get the show on the road. (Didn’t anyone tell him that it’s bad luck to see the bride before the ceremony?) AJ shows up for his gig. AJ tells his sister about his problems with Courtney and Coleman. Skye tells him to have faith in his wife, that she loves him and things will work out.

Brenda coincidentally sees the wedding announcement and can’t believe it. She decides to head to the church since she doesn’t know who she can trust to deliver a message to Jax.

Nexis have the standard “What am I going to Say/ Why didn’t I say” re: Sonny conversation. Ned reminds them that they are on their way to give their love and support to Jax and to stop dwelling on the “what ifs”.

Felicia and her guuurrrrrls have a set-to about their place in their mother’s life. They ask her point blank why she didn’t just leave them in Texas so that she could go on her merry way with Roy – ouch. Maxie tells Flea that she isn’t about to play mommy to Georgie again so that Felicia can go gallivanting all over with a mob wannabe. Meanwhile, she sees the announcement of the SAX wedding and calls Mac to watch the kiddies. Some peeps never learn.

Carly shows up at the safe house hot on the heels of Sonny’s guy. While he’s blasting her for not following the plan, Alcazar slips a silencer on his piece. Ned offers to hold Jax’s wedding ring from Brenda for safekeeping. Jax tells him that that part of his life is over and flings it towards the water. He must throw like a girl because it doesn’t make it and we see Brenda conveniently pick it up. Before leaving for the wedding, another creepy phone call weirds out Courtney.
