General Hospital Update for Tuesday, 24-Sep-2002

@ Kelly’s
Courtney is still obviously shaken up over the events of the night before. Liz asks if she’s all right and explains that she ran into Jason after who explained what happened. At first Courtney is annoyed that Jason told her, but Liz reveals to her that she was raped a few years ago and has some idea of what she’s going through. She offers Sonny’s sister a shoulder to cry on or vent to if she needs one. Courtney thanks her but is grateful that nothing quite that tragic happened to her. Lucky for you your brother-in-law was there to save you, Liz replies. Courtney tells her that she never really thought of Jason as her brother-in-law before. As Liz asks her how she thinks of Jason, AJ and his co-workers show up for lunch. After introductions, his boss, Oscar, recognizes Courtney from the Oasis and starts teasing AJ about having a stripper for a wife. AJ is obviously none to thrilled.

@ Dock’s
Felicia and the girls are having a discussion about the comeback of 70’s clothing, when Roy approaches. Georgie is obviously annoyed with his appearance, but Maxie is friendly. He asks the girls how they’ve been since the “incident”. They say that they are fine. As Roy offer to help in anyway he can, Lucas shows up and tells him that he can help by staying away from them.

@ Alexis’s
Alexis is having a panic attack over the results of a test. Ned tries to assure her that everything will be fine, but she is not buying. She tries to rack her brain thinking of what she could have done, when there is a knock at the door. Lucky arrives and tells Alexis that he needs her help.

@ PCPD
Scott approaches Taggert and asks him for congratulations on running for the District Attorney position. Taggert reminds him that his one and only case as acting DA, blew up in his face when Luke escaped. Scott tells him that everyone will forget about Luke when he is finished putting an end to organized crime. On that note, Taggert tells Scott about the meeting of the mob families the night before and that they had a hidden tape recorder. Scott assumes that Jason has taken over, but Taggert replies, not exactly.

@ St. Timothy’s
Carly shows up and thanks Father Dade (I think) for being with Sonny during his last moments. She explains that she is trying to piece together the events of the evening and asks for more information on the “woman” (Brenda). He begins with a description of her, but Jax and Skye show up. Jax tells the priest not to hurry and to finish his business with Mrs. Corinthos. The priest is surprised that the two know each other. Jax offers his condolences to Carly who rips into him about how much he hated Sonny and that she once considered him her friend until she reconciled with Sonny and he dropped her like a hot potato (my words, not Carly’s!!). She explains that Jax used the “borrowing money” as an excuse to get her out of there. She reminds him that he hated Sonny because he was a constant reminder of his one failure in life Brenda. To Brenda he will always be considered a fall back plan when the man she really loves kicked out and now that Sonny is dead, he is thrilled.

@ PCPD
Taggert and Scott listen to the taped conversation Carly has with the mob families. Both assume that Jason has to be backing her, because she is a loose canon. No way could she smoothly run Sonny’s operations without help. Taggert reminds him that Carly once instigated a union strike. Scott doesn’t buy it, he thinks that Carly will ultimately screw up and cause an all out war and Scott will be there to pick up the pieces. As Bobbie approaches, she hears Scott say that Carly will be the one who gets him elected.

@ Alexis’s
Lucky apologizes for coming in unannounced. Alexis pushes Ned out and says that she could use the distraction. Reluctantly he leaves and tells her that he will meet her later. After Ned has left, Lucky begins venting about Scott being a possible candidate for the DA’s job. There is no way he should be elected to anything, will she help him blackmail Scott using Theresa Carter?

@ Dock’s
Lucas lays into Roy telling that if he really cared about Felicia and the girls he would leave them alone and pretend he doesn’t even know them. He tells Roy that he is a bad man (yes, those were his words) and bad things happen to those around him. The Scorpio girls try to get Lucas to can it, but Roy tells them that Lucas has the right to voice his opinion and that he has Roy’s full attention.

@ Kelly’s
Gia is complaining about some bad press she received on a cover shoot and wants Nikolas to sue the editor of the magazine. She is only half-joking, but Nikolas tells her that that is the best picture he has ever seen of her. She tells her fiancée that he can’t make her feel better. Watch me, he replies and leaves the restaurant.
AJ and his coworkers are seated and while Courtney is serving them, Oscar continues to harass AJ (jokingly) about having a stripper for a wife and how great it must be to get free dances. AJ tries to change the subject to shop talk, but Oscar continues to rile him about how great Courtney looks in her get-up. Coleman approaches from behind and tells the men that he will tell them what AJ won’t about Courtney. Coleman comes to her rescue by telling the men that he stint as a stripper was just that. She is trying to forget it and they should leave it alone. Oscar quickly apologizes and Courtney and Coleman head over to the counter. He orders a coffee to go and Courtney thanks him for helping. (do I sense a possible pairing between Coleman and Courtney while AJ is out of town????) AJ comes up and can’t believe that Courtney is thanking the man that put her in that position. Wrong man, you did it. You drove into my club and Courtney was cleaning up your mess, is Coleman’s response. After he leaves, Courtney tells AJ not to even think about yelling at her. AJ wants to know if Courtney realizes what he just went through. No, I kinda missed that part, is her response. AJ explains that Oscar is his boss and there was nothing he could do to stop him. He just gave AJ time off to go to Washington to fight the RICO charges and Courtney of all people should understand what doing something you don’t like for money is like and walks away, leaving her stunned.
Taggert shows up and congratulates Gia on her cover. She tells him to think again, her modeling career is almost history.

@ Alexis’s
Lucky tries to come up with a way to blackmail Scott using Theresa’s murder as bait, but Alexis reminds him that everyone involved knows that Laura really killed Theresa and that if he does anything to blackmail Scott, he will retaliate.

@ PCPD
Scott tries to explain to Bobbie that with Carly trying to find Sonny’s murder, she will also be helping him. Bobbie isn’t buying it and wants to know how ambitious he really is, since he has already railroaded Luke. He tells her that when it comes to someone she loves, he would be willing to break the rules (doesn’t that involve Luke?).

@ Dock’s
Lucas continues to accuse Roy of being wrong for the Scorpio girls. He is the reason the girls were kidnapped and that Felicia had to trade herself. No kid should have to go through that. Felicia and the girls try to get him to calm down and he stalks off. Georgie rushes after him and Maxie apologizes for his behaviour. After Maxie leaves, Roy tells Felicia that Lucas was right.

@ St. Timothy’s
Jax apologizes to Carly if she felt that she wasn’t getting any support from him. He knows what its like to love someone more than life itself and watch them die and says that he wouldn’t wish that on his worst enemy. Carly turns her attention back to the priest and asks for more info on the woman. When the priest can’t give anymore, Carly thanks him again and walks away. The priest apologizes for her behaviour, but Jax and Skye tell him not to worry about. It’s nothing new. Jax asks again about the woman and the priest is curious why he wants to know. Skye asks Jax if he thinks he knows the woman. He says no, that it could be anyone. As he explains that it doesn’t make sense, but Elizabeth Webber comes to mind, his parents show up and are thrilled with the location and the church. They welcome Skye into the family and the priest takes them on a tour of the church. Jax tells Skye that if it starts to get too overwhelming for her they can married somewhere else. She says no, she wants to get married with here with the people who matter.

@ Dock’s
Felicia asks Roy if he is thinking they should stop seeing each other. Roy admits that he wants Felicia and is too selfish to walk away, but he also wants her alive. He tells her that its best she doesn’t know about Alcazar’s latest assignment and promises that this walk through hell will soon be over.

@ Kelly’s
Maxie is amazed that Roy let Lucas rip into him like that and not say anything in return. She reminds her sister and her friend that Roy would never let anything happen to them or their mother and that he is the reason they got out of the situation. Carly shows up and Lucas and Carly have a tender brother/sister moment. Carly heads inside and approaches the counter. After saying hello, Liz asks Carly if she has heard from Jason yet. Carly says no and Liz explains the events of the night before, regarding Courtney and that she saw Jason. Carly asks if he had a message for her. Liz says no, but is puzzled about something, he had lipstick on his neck.
Gia vents to Marcus about how rough it is being in the public eye all the time and living the life of a model. She wants out.

@ Alexis’s
Lucky agrees with Alexis and promises that he won’t do anything. He thanks her for her time and starts to leave. Alexis, obviously still wanting to be distracted, asks if there is anything else he needs cause that didn’t take as long as she thought. Puzzled, Lucky responds by saying that he won’t pretend to know what she meant and hopes that whatever is troubling her works itself out. He leaves and Alexis can’t believe that she was that transparent.

@ Kelly’s
Liz and Carly are actually having a civilized conversation! Carly tells Liz that she doesn’t care if Jason was covered in lipstick because for some strange reason wants to be with Liz and would not cheat on her. Unlike Liz, who can’t decide between Jason/Lucky, Jason/Zander, Jason knows what he wants. Liz asks if that was similar to her not being able to decide between Sonny and Jason. Carly starts to rip into her usual spiel about Liz not being the sweet and innocent person everyone thinks, but Liz quickly apologizes and asks Carly if she can just vent for a minute. Puzzled, Carly listens as Liz asks how she deals with the long disappearances with no explanations, except business and then seeing them with lipstick on their neck. Carly would be suspicious too. Carly tells her to sit down next to her. (we never actually learn what it is Carly tells her-unless I missed something ).
Nikolas has come back and tells Gia that although they have no grounds to sue the editor, he has arranged for another shoot. Gia tells him to forget it, she doesn’t want to do it anymore. She’s done. Gia expects more from him and is surprised at his response of just Ok.
Scott shows up and spies Carly talking with Liz.

@ General Hospital
Alexis is panicking yet again about the results of the test they are waiting to hear. Ned tries to assure her that everything will be fine. The doctor comes in and after some small talk tells the parents to be that Alexis’s baby has no genetic disorders and is perfectly healthy. The doc asks if they want to know the sex of the baby. Ned says yes, but Alexis says no.


@ St. Timothy’s
AJ shows up and Skye asks him to walk her down the aisle as he is the only person she loves more than anything. At first he is puzzled as to why she doesn’t want Alan, but agrees. He tells her that he may have to leave early though. She doesn’t care as long as he walks her down the aisle.
Inside Jax’s father asks him about Alcazar. Jax tells him that since Sonny died, he hasn’t been seen and thinks that maybe Sonny was his only target after all.

@ Alcazar’s
Alcazar places a call to Roy and tells him that tailing Jax isn’t cutting it anymore.

@ Kelly’s
Carly tells Liz not to worry that if and when she sees Jason she will tell him to call her. They thank each other and Scott approaches as Liz disappears into the kitchen. Scott, after placing a kiss on Carly’s cheek to which she is totally confused, offers his condolences. He tells her that if she ever needs anything or anyone to talk to about the goings on of the underworld, to just come to him. Carly isn’t fooled. She tells Scott to forget about his fishing expedition and to save his kisses for her mother and walks away.
Liz answers the phone and tells Courtney she has a phone call. Courtney obviously can’t hear anyone on the other end and asks angrily who it is before hanging up. Frustrated she asks Liz if they gave a name. No, just asked for you, is the response from Ms. Webber.

@ GH
Alexis is in the middle of getting an ultra sound and Ned is convinced that the baby is a girl. Alexis now wants to know. The doc tells her that she is now looking at her new baby GIRL!! Alexis is overcome with emotion and tells them that she was hoping for a girl and starts saying hello to her daughter.

@ St. Timothy’s
Jax presents Skye with the necklace she pawned for Martini’s and asks if she will wear it on their wedding day. Try and stop me!, is the response from soon to be Mrs. Jax.

@ Alcazar’s/Dock’s
Alcazar orders Roy to kill Jax who can’t understand why Jax is still such a big deal since Brenda isn’t trying to contact him. Alcazars repeats the order and after hanging up tells and unseen person that he may have to kill Jax himself as Roy may not follow through.

ON THE NEXT GENERAL HOSPITAL:

1 – Jax tells Skye to open her eyes and she stares in bewilderment.

2 – Brenda is looking at a photograph of Jax and Skye while sitting in a limo as Alcazar states that Jax just can’t keep out of the press and that Brenda will most certainly be at the wedding.
3 – Roy tells Sonny that Alcazar now wants him to kill Jax. Sonny tells him not to worry, everything is arranged.

4 – Jason tells Carly to wait until Sonny comes home and Carly wants to know when that will be.
