General Hospital Update for Friday, 6-Sep-2002

Jason tells Sonny, Carly, Liz and Zander about his visit to the yacht. He describes the woman that he saw (the nurse) and Sonny and he assume that this is the woman that whose back they saw earlier on the yacht. Sonny is mystified because he was sure that "the woman" was the key to the whole thing, so now he's stumped but he knows that trouble is ahead...


At Kelly's, Bobbie and felicia chit chat about Luke and we get a glimpse of a much older Lucas as he regailes Maxie and GEorgie with tales of seeing a bear on his vacation...

Nicholas and Lucky have a tea party with Lulu, she asks for her mother and the boys promise (apparently not having read the spoilers about GF leaving) that she will be back home soon.


At the hospital, Luke tries to get through to Laura, telling her that they'll get away from this place, that it's just the two of them, that she has to try and not go deeper into the place she is at now because he can't follow her there. Laura stops twirling her hair long enough to listen, and it appears that Luke is reaching her, but then attendants try to get into the room, Luke blocks the door with a chair and Laura flips out completely. Luke tells her "look at me, I;m your life". Laura says that she doesn't know him. At some point, the attendants break in, put a straightjacket on Laura and proceed to give her a shot, while Luke is being led away kicking and screaming himself...

As Branda listens on, Alcazar tells Roy that he has to kill Sonny Corinthos, so that Roy wouldn't think he meant Sonny Bono. Roy refuses, which raises the question of why an international arms dealer can't find someone to do a hit. Roy tells him that if he wants Sonny dead, he should do it himself. As Roy walks out, Alcazar tells his thugs "You know what you have to do" which, I can only assume, means bungle another hit.

Brenda confronts the nurse--did she know that Alcazar wanted to kill Sonny, was that the plan all along? The nurse says that Alcazar loves Brenda and suggests that if he knows that these men mean nothing to her, that she wants to spend her life with him...Brenda catches on, and is shortly imploring Alcazar to take her away from PC--she wants to set sail so that they can be alone together...Alcazar falls for it...

Laura's doctor tells Luke, Nicholas, Lucky and Scott that he has made arrangements to transfer Laura to a facility in London, that night. He cannot tell whether she will ever fully recover. L&N go in to say goodbye. When Luke says that he wants to say goodbye too, the doctor opines that it's best for Laura if she never saw Luke again. L&N go in to see Laura--she is completely drugged. They are startled by how she looks. She thinks that Lucky is Scotty, she doesn't recognize Nicholas, begs "Scotty" to get her out of there. The boys say good bye to her.

Roy and Felicia enjoy some pie at Kelly's and make goo goo eyes at each other as Lucas and Felicia's girls look on from the outside. Suddenly, Alcazar's men appear and unbeknownst to the three kids, look at them.

Brenda slips out of bed with Alcazar, takes his cell phone out of his jacket and slips to another room. She dials Sonny's number--at the penthouse the phone rings and rings as Sonny and Carly smooch having exchanges such witticism as Sonny: Carly, when you're good, you're very good, but when you're bad, you're better...Finally Sonny picks up the phone, but Alcazar has already awakened from his slumber and takes the phone away from Brenda, before she could say anything.

At Jason's, Liz waits up for Jason to return from a meeting with Sonny. she tells him that she made him a sandwich and basically comes on to him again, saying that she doesn't care what he does "out there" and she doesn't care about tomorrow, all she cares about is right now and tonight.

Laura is wheeled outside her room. She is in a straightjacket. Luke is teary, and as they wheel her away (to the airport, I guess), he has a flashback of a montage of scenes with Laura and him with curly hair and he says good bye to her.

Scotty takes out Luke's confession, which appears to be about 50 pages and says, in effect, a deal's a deal. Luke, however, pulls out a gun on Scotty and the two derfbeans that are standing there to make sure that he doesn't get away.
