General Hospital Update for Tuesday, 3-Sep-2002

General Hospital fans found themselves in a rather tangled web today.Luke, against the wishes of his son Lucky and Alexis, tells Scott Baldwin that he took Rick's life. Meanwhile, a disturbed Laura is, perhaps, declining into LA LA LAND. Actually, it's ,probably, post traumatic stress.She can't quite accept the fact that she killed her own father. Realizing that" his fragile Laura" can't deal with a trial, he sticks to his confession. He dismisses Alexis and asks Lucky to stand by his mother.When Nicolas and Lucky visit Laura in the Psychiatric Ward, she is lethargic and tired. Lucky pushes her too stenuously to tell the truth about Rick's demise in the ATTIC. She keeps focusing on an apparition much like her teenage self who begs her not to trust these guys. Lucky simply wants to find out the truth. He tells his dad that he will not let a vengeful DA ,Scott Baldwin, pin this murder rap on him. Lucky says: "I need you too, dad".
The rather comical scene lightens the episode with a staged ploy by Jax and Ned. Jax brags to Lila and the others that he has bought ELQ lock, stock, and barrel.. that he is MR. ELQ! With this said, a feigning Edward comes alert to say" Over my dead body". The old manipulative tycoon has apparently been faking his problem. Cute, sweet Lila knows him soooo well. She says:"Welcome back, dear." Of course, Alan and Monica are furious with him.They realize that this stubborn man pulled his own plug to seek revenge on a drunken Skye. Edward tells Jax, "You are still in love with the woman who tried to deceive you. It's there in Black and White and you have to live with it."There is a Code Blue in the hospital room that one of Alcazar's goons is in. Jason had left Zander and Liz to question him. A sly looking Alcazar looks as if he got to him first. He and Jason just stare at each other.
Zander does remember a woman with dark hair and soft eyes on the yacht. He tells Liz that her eyes were like Liz's.Is his memory returning?Trust me, Zander must have the "Buried Key " to this puzzle.
Roy tells an angry Felicia to take her daughters and leave town so they will be safe. Alcazar has made some remark about her girls. Felicia declares that they need to fight Alcazar. She is not about to leave Roy at this point. Surely, in time, the fans will get to see "this woman of mystery "on the yacht. This story- line is dragging a little too much to this true GH fan. SO,Tune in tomorrow to see if some of these webs will be untangled .
