General Hospital Update for Friday, 23-Aug-2002

Jax told Skye it was over between them and that he wanted nothing more to do with her. Skye begged him to fight for their love and give her another chance, but Jax would have none of it.

Nik showed Alexis the skull he found using the key from Rick Webber’s possessions. Alexis rebuked Nik for tampering with evidence but took the skull to a friend in the forensics lab for identification.

Meanwhile, after receiving a call from Scott, Leslie and Lulu showed up at the police station to pick up Lucky. Both Leslie and Taggart laid into Scott for lying when he placed the call. Lucky figured out that Scott was trying to use Lulu’s tears in an effort to break him. Nik showed up and also laid into Scott for using an innocent child. Lucky decided to “tell Scott everything” or at least pretend to. Nik made Scott wait for Lucky’s lawyer though. When Alexis finally showed up, she had the skull with her. Pulling it from her bag she tossed it at Scott and accused him of killing Theresa Carter twenty something years ago.

Sonny questioned Liz about the conversation she overheard between Roy and Alcazar. Liz couldn’t give Sonny any ‘real’ answers except that she got the impression that the something Alcazar has that Sonny wants was a person, not a thing.

Michael asked Carly if people who where on a ship/boat when it sank died. Carly told him yes, but thinking he was worried for Sonny assured him that his daddy would be ok. When Carly went upstairs to continue her interior decoration consultation, Michael slipped out the front door.

A heartbroken Skye wandered aimlessly out of the hospital and soon found herself in a bar. She ordered a drink and debated the cruelties of life. Taking off the necklace Jax gave her as an engagement gift and putting it on the bar, she ordered the bartender to keep the drinks coming.

Alcazar questioned the nurse about what the mystery woman wanted to know from Zander about Sonny and Jax. Later, Alcazar ordered his men to throw Zander overboard and make it look like he drowned.

Ned showed Jax the contract. Jax then offered Ned the chance to buy all his ELQ stock. Ned accepted saying he would need the leverage because he was going to make the people responsible for Kristina’s death pay.

Carly freaked when she came down stairs and couldn’t find Michael. She jumped all over Johnny for leaving his post at the front door to get the mail. She ordered him to get EVERYONE searching for Michael and to locate Sonny and tell him Michael was missing.

The mystery woman placed a phone call – to Sonny’s PH. When a frantic Carly answered, the woman didn’t say anything. Alcazar entered the room and saw her (the mystery woman) on the phone.

A fisherman brought a half drowned Zander into Kelly’s. Liz recognized him and asked him what had happened. Zander looked at Liz and asked, “Do I know you?”

A totally drunk Skye returned to Edward’s room and laid into the still unconscious old man for messing up her life - again. She shouted at Edward that she wished he would just die already. Shortly after, the plug on Edward’s respirator is pulled out of the socket, although who does it is not seen.
