General Hospital Update for Friday, 16-Aug-2002

Lucky has a nightmare about Rick standing over his bed saying that Lucky won�t get away with killing him. Shortly after waking up, Scott calls and summons him to a meeting about Rick�s �accident�. When Lucky arrives at Kelly�s, Gia and Nik are waiting for him (funny I thought Lucky lived at Kelly�s). Scott finally arrives and interviews the nervous trio. Scott advises them to call a lawyer if they think it's necessary. The trio declines the offer. Scott is suspicious of the scenario what with Luke and Laura's disappearance and Gia �witnessing� Rick's accident. They claim that it is nothing but coincidence. Scott tries to get their fingerprints but they won't let him and tell him to get a warrant. Scott goes to get the paperwork, and Gia starts freaking out and saying she wants to go to her brother for help. Nik calms Gia down-for the moment...

Courtney can't accompany AJ to Skye'& Jax�s engagement party because of her second job. AJ begs her to come with him but Courtney insists she must go to work...

Roy tells Jason that if Sonny wants to talk to him, he can meet him at the Oasis because Roy won�t go to Sonny's penthouse. Jason tries to ignore Liz outside Kelly's but she calls him on it. He tells her they are getting too close and it has to stop. As he leaves he tells her that he has someplace to be and for her NOT to show up there�

Zander wakes up aboard Alcazar�s yacht with a raging headache and is somewhat embarrassed to learn that a woman knocked him senseless. When the nurse shows up Zander demands to know where he is but she warns him to keep quiet or he could end up dead. Zander claims he has information on Sonny and wants to speak to the boss. She informs him that the woman she works for might be interested. The nurse reports to her boss that Zander could be helpful. The unidentified woman looks at a picture of Jax and Skye in the newspaper and hands the nurse a list of questions for Zander. The nurse returns to Zander and asks him to tell her everything he knows about Sonny and notes that his answers will depend on whether he lives or dies. Zander starts to relate the inside info he gained while working for Sonny but is surprised when he is questioned about Carly and Sonny's relationship. He describes Carly as a selfish �wack� job who is really a good person underneath. Zander wonders how this information is going to help anyone. The nurse asks why Sonny keeps taking Carly back and Zander says because he loves her. The next questions have to do with Jax and Zander asks why this mystery woman wants to know so much about Jax and Sonny's personal lives. The nurse comments about Jax's upcoming marriage and wants to know about Skye. Zander�s description of her is even less flattering than Carly�s. The nurse reports back to her boss (whose face we still haven�t seen) that both Sonny and Jax appear to be with happily involved with strong woman in volatile relationships�

Carly gets upset by a picture in the newspaper, which gets Sonny thinking that Carly has a devious plan in the works. Carly explains she is upset that Jax gave her club to Skye and wants revenge. Sonny offers to buy her another club but Carly appears to decline saying it wouldn�t be the same. Carly wants Sonny to take her out and get her mind off of the subject but Sonny has a meeting. Jason shows up and gives Sonny Roy's message. He offers to bring Roy in forcibly but Sonny is willing to be generous since he is sure Roy will be more cooperative after their meeting�

Ned and Alexis arrive at the engagement party, as do Alan and Monica. Alan tells Skye she�s never looked happier, and then rags on Monica for telling Skye to pay attention to pre-wedding jitters and run. Edward shows up�with a gift no less. Skye asks him for the contract. Edward gives Skye the impression that the contract is the gift. Jax makes a touching toast about how Skye changed his life by making him realize he could love again. At Edward�s prompt Skye also toasts Jax and comments how lucky she is to have found someone that accepted her as is. Skye is delighted when AJ shows up. Edward wishes Jax luck and adds that he will need it after he's married. Monica tells AJ how proud she is of him. AJ says everything is due to Courtney�s love. Alan adds his praise and AJ notes his father's sincerity. Later, Edward finds Skye on the porch opening the gift he brought. He takes the contract from his pocket and waves it in front of her and informs her that he's going to give the contract directly to Jax. Skye realizes that Edward has been leading her on and never had any intention of making her sole heir. Edward gloats about having Skye exactly where he wants her. Skye pleads with Edward to let her off the hook. But Edward says getting to keep Jax wasn�t part of the deal and starts go back to the party with the contract. Skye grabs his arm and says he will do so over her dead body. Edward suddenly clutches his chest but Skye tells him she isn�t going to fall for that trick again. Edward refuses relax his grip on the contract but slows sinks to the ground taking Skye along with him. Jax walks in on Skye and Edward wrestling on the floor�

Sonny arrives at the Oasis first but doesn�t notice the HUGE poster of �DAISY�. When Roy does finally arrive, Sonny shows him pictures of some of Alcazar�s previous business associates who have met with mysterious fatal accidents. He assures Roy that he has names and dates to back up his research. �Daisy� takes the stage just as Sonny asks Roy why Alcazar wants to make the business at hand personal. Sonny, whose back is turned to the stage, remains oblivious as �Daisy� bumps and grinds around the pole. Roy tells Sonny that any information he gives will come with a price. Sonny retorts that he's giving Roy a chance to survive. Roy gives a final look at the stage then tells Sonny to enjoy the show before he leaves. Sonny finally turns around and realizes that the dancer is Courtney�

The new bodyguards haul Liz up to Sonny�s PH after they find her waiting for Jason in the parking lot. Luckily for Liz someone is there, unfortunately it�s Carly. Carly tells the men it�s ok then advises Liz to do what Jason says if she wants a chance with him. Carly adds that if Liz pushes Jason too far, she will lose him. Liz assures Carly that she doesn't need her advice regarding Jason. Carly predicts that it won�t take long for Liz to get herself or Jason killed. Carly follows Liz out to the elevator and continues to give her unsolicited advice. Neither woman can see that Jason is at his own door. Liz steps into the elevator and the doors start to close. Carly steps around the wall with a final chastising remark for Liz, then sees Jason. He walks right up to her and asks why she's messing in his personal life�

Scott gets the results of the fingerprint tests then returns to the Kelly�s and asks Nik and Lucky why they killed Rick�
