General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 14-Aug-2002

This being the first time I write an update, I hope you won't find it too confusing since my first language is french...

Alexis'

Ned and Alexis are talking about milk and vitamins when there's a knock at the door. Ned opens it to find Carly...

Outside Kelly's

Liz waits on Sonny and he asks to speak to Courtney. Courtney tries to avoid him but finally speaks to him. Sonny asks about about her "disapearance".

JAx's

Jax is speaking on the phone with his father and tells him he thinks he knows who took the map (Scared look from Skye). Jax tells Skye he wants revenge on whoever took the map and that he will not hold back when he finds him.

Yacht

Alcazar and Roy agree to meet tonight for the exchange of the second part of the map/money transaction. After hanging up, Alcazar looks through his desk. Not finding what he's looking for (1st half of the map), he calls out to someone: "have you been at my desk again? You might have misplaced something very important".

Cassadine Crypt Basement

Gia walks in on Nik and Lucky conspiring about how to cover up Rick's murder. She tells them to fess up. From their mutual past experience, and the big freezer in front of her Gia figures out that there is a body inside it. Lucky tells her who's body it is and ask if she will help or not. Gia tries to convince him that they won't get away with it. Lucky explains their motive to Gia. Mrs Landsbury comes in, Gia and Nik create a diversion to make her go away.

Jax's

Jax tells Skye he thinks either Edward or Roy stole the map. After mulling over Roy's behavior the night before, Jax is convinced he did it and tell Skye he has to stop Roy from selling map.

Kelly's

Jason tells Liz that he doesn't want to be responsable for her getting hurt and tells her to forget about him, that a relationship is not worth it.

Outside Kelly's

Sonny tells courtney she shouldn't have to work two jobs. He gives her money with no strings attached. Courtney tells Sonny to stuff his money and asks him to leave her alone. Sonny tries to explain that he's just trying to help but Courtney insists that she and AJ are happy, that she doesn't need the money.

Alexis'

Ned tells Carly to leave, but Alexis tells him she's the one who called Carly. She asks Ned to leaves. Alexis asks Carly for a copy of Sonny's medical record so that she can have all the information in case something were to happen to her baby. Carly spews her venom and warns Alexis never to hurt her husband again and walks out.

Casadine Crypt Basement

Having retrieved the keys from Rick's corpse, Gia, Nicholas and Lucky agree that Nicholas will assume guard duty while Gia and Lucky move Rick's car.

On the side of the road somewhere

Gia meets Lucky and Nicholas by the side of a road. The guys brought the corpse. Lucky explains that they will make it look like Rick was drunk and they will roll the car over the cliff. Gia tells him that the investigators will know Rick wasn't drunk since they will do a blood alcohol test. Nik (in a rare moment of attention to detail..from TPTB that is) tells him that it's not going to work seeing as the police will probably do a crime scene investigation and they will see that the accident and the scene won't match. Lucky agrees and tells them he will drive the car over the cliff himself.

Outside Kelly's

Courtney and Liz take a break and chat. Courtney asks about Liz relationship towards Sonny. Courtney wonders why Sonny is not his charming self around his own sister but can be around everyone else. Liz explains how Sonny can be protective of the people he cares about and sometimes goes about it in funny ways. Maybe she could give him another chance. Courtney tells her things are too complicated right now.

Pier

Jason informs that some deal went well. Sonny tries to figure out what Roy is up to and who is Alcazar and why he is going after him. He knows this is not a power struggle. Sonny explains that if they wait long enough, Roy will get nervous and Alcazar will get impatient. They will find Alcazar's weakness and use it.

Yacht

Alcazar asks the nurse if "Diana/Brenda" is taking her medication. The nurse says yes. He says she's becoming more eratic. He tells her to increase her medication.

Outside Kelly's

Roy sits down at a table outside. Courtney sees him and asks Liz to take the table, she agrees. Jax sits down with Roy and implies that Roy took the map. Roy denies it. He threatens to destroy Roy if he doesn't return it by tonight. Sonny and Jason walk by and ask why Jax looks so stressed "Is Mr. De-lu-ca giving you trouble?"
Sonny asks Roy what he's up to and who he's working for. Jax counters saying that maybe Roy is working for Sonny trying to destroy Jax. Sonny tells him to stop hiding behind Brenda's memory and if he wants to come for him to do it. Jax threatens that he might do that once he's finished with Roy. Jax walks away... Sonny asks Roy again who he's working for. Roy walks away. Sonny tells Jason that maybe Jax will lead them to Roy's boss.


Alexis'


Carly knocks at the door and gives Alexis Sonny's medical file with Sonny's name removed (who keeps this information at home?). She tells Alexis she didn't do it for her but for Sonny's unborn child. It seems that it's a night of threats as Carly warns Alexis to never hurt Sonny again.

Side of the road

After placing Rick's body in the car, Gia makes one last attempt to convince Nicholas and Lucky to go to the police.
Lucky explains how he will drive the car to make skid marks on the road and crash in the gard rail to make the car accident look more real. He will then jump out before it careens over the cliff. Nicholas begs Lucky to come to his senses, saying that he will die if he goes through with it.

Alexis' home

Ned comes home and Alexis shows him Sonny's medical file. He adds his name where Sonny's used to be (Gun shot wounds and all).

Outside Kelly's

Sonny and Carly meet while Jason is talking on his cell phone. She goes inside Kelly's. Jason tells Sonny that Benny will try to find a connection between Jax and Roy. Sonny tells Jason the only connection he and Jax ever had was Brenda.

Yacht

Alcazar tell Diane/Brenda that she should always come to him if she feels confused or upset and that he will always keep her safe (after an she's had an off-screen episode).

Jax's home

Jax tells Skye that he thinks Roy and Sonny might working together. He opens an enveloppe that Skye found outside and finds half of the map. Skye suggests that maybe he has an ennemi but Jax seems to think that he may have a friend looking out for him.

Side of the Road

Nicholas says he would rather push the car than let Lucky get in the car. Lucky finally convinces Nicholas to let him do it. Before Lucky get in the car, Nicholas pours alcohol over Ricks body (why? the car will blow up anyway). Lucky starts the car from the passenger side. Once the car is on it's way, he tries to open the door to jump out. The door is stuck and he can't get out. Gia and Nicholas look on in shock.


Tomorrow's episode...

Liz wants Jason to take her on a motorcycle ride.

Alcazar threatens Roy.

Skye apologizes to a perplex Jax.

AJ holds Coleman against a wall while Courtney watches.
