General Hospital Update for Monday, 29-Jul-2002

THE HOSPITAL:

Luke asks Bobbie to help him find the identity of the mystery woman. Bobbie searches through hospital records. Also in the hospital, Laura's memories intensify. Rick tries to help her but Luke intervenes. Rick apologizes for stirring up bad memories. He urges Laura to start focusing on her wedding. He leaves, and Bobbie tells them she hasn't found anything. But Luke produces the sketch of the woman and Bobbie leaves to look again. Laura tells Luke she remembers Rick coming at her with a syringe. Bobbie comes back with a name--Teresa Carter, a former nurse. Laura suddenly remembers being in the attic and looking outside to see someone in the backyard. Luke and Laura leave the hospital as Rick looks on...

JAX'S PLACE

Jax has proposed to Skye--she's taken aback to say the least. Her answer...a flat out no. Skye says she knows he was in Paris with some "hooch" who was wearing the same necklace he's now giving her. Jax explains the woman was a jewelery broker. Skye is speechless. Se tells Jax that Edward has been planting fears in her head and that she has trust issues. Jax tells her he's experienced loss and has problems trusting also, (Brenda).

THE DINER

Courtney's stripper friend, Wynona, pays her a surprise visit and offers her a ride to work. AJ happens by and asks for an introduction. Courtney tells him Wynona works with her at a bank. When Wynona leaves, AJ tells Courtney he knows she doesn't work at a bank. She admits the truth...or the new truth...that she cleans floors but was too ashamed to admit it. AJ seems to buy it. She leaves for work.

THE DOCKS

Roy meets Alcazar for the first time. He asks him what he expects in return for the money and whether he has a history with Sonny. Alcazar only says that Sonny is standing in the way of something he wants. Someone is taking pictures of the meeting--it turns out to be Felicia. When Roy finds out he gets mad, but she tells him they need to find out more about Alcazar.

ALCAZAR'S HOME

A maid tells Alcazar the woman (who we have yet to see) had a bad night and has been medicated. Alcazar tells the woman she's safe and she's his.

SONNY'S TROPICAL HIDEAWAY

Sonny assures Carly that he would stay with her even if Alexis's baby were his. Carly admits that she knew Alexis was pregnant awhile ago, and she kept it from him out of fear the baby was his. He gets angry. But she demands that he accept her even though she lies.. after all she's never asked him to change. They finally reconcile and head back to Port Charles.

THE HOSPITAL

Scott runs into Bobbie. She tells him how she discovered the identity of the woman and about what Laura remembered. Scott seems on edge and he cancels their dinner plans. Then Rick comes by and tells Scott they need to do something...

LAURA'S OLD BACKYARD

Laura is trying to remember more but can't. Luke tells her she can't force it and he takes her home. Rick and Scott enter the backyard with shovels and start to dig.

STRIP CLUB

Winona informs Courtney that AJ must have followed her to work because he's outside.

THE DINER

Carly and Sonny are back in town, acting like newlyweds. Sonny gives her the key to the penthouse and they part ways. Taggert shows up and arrests Sonny for kidnapping Carly.

AND IN THE BACKYARD

Scott and Rick dig up a human skull.
