General Hospital Update for Thursday, 25-Jul-2002

KELLY�S:
Ned warns Alexis that Roy is just as dangerous as Sonny. Alexis tells him that SHE will decide who her clients will be. Ned strikes a low blow when he asks Alexis if she is that desperate to keep a tie with Sonny and reminds her of how much claiming the baby has cost him. Alexis tells Ned that she had already decided to drop Roy IF he has any mob ties. Shortly after Alexis leaves, Kristina arrives and Ned tries to join her. She doesn�t want to talk to him but he convinces her to give him a few minutes. Ned tells Kristina that he is going to visit Brook Lynn and suggests she use the time to patch things up with Alexis. Kristina is upset by Ned�s implication that she is the one straining the sister�s relationship and tells Ned his time is up. Ned gives in for the time being but lets her know he is not giving up�
Luke joins Laura and she tells him that she has remembered that Scott was in the attic on the night in question. Laura thinks it would be easier to get more information if they could find out who the red haired woman is/was. Luke has an idea on who can help them with that�
Scott asks why Bobbie isn�t worried that Carly is missing. Bobbie explains that she has learned that Carly and Sonny deal with their problems in their own way and it is best not to interfere. Scott grumbles on about Sonny�s lack of respect for the law and vows that he will pay. Bobbie warns him not to use Carly as a way to get to Sonny�

LIZ�S STUDIO:
Zander arrives and chastises Liz for not locking the door. Liz asks Zander to stay out of the war between Sonny and Roy. Zander doesn�t get a chance to say much before he get a call from Roy asking Zander to meet him at the PC Hotel (Penthouse 12). Later Liz receives a visit from Luke and Laura who ask her to sketch a person from Laura�s description. Once it is done Laura comments that it is an excellent likeness of the woman she remembers. Luke asks Liz to keep mum about the drawing. Liz goes off on an errand after telling the Spencers that they can use the studio for as long as they need to. Laura suggests they make copies of the sketch but insists on confronting Rick herself. She tells Luke that he can question Scott about the woman if he wants to. And Luke wants to�

PC HOTEL:
Felicia arrives at PH 12 and Roy tells her that it is his new place. He points out the view, which is very reminiscent of the one they talked about a few nights ago. Felicia wants to trace the �Money Man�s� messenger�s cell phone. Roy stalls saying he would prefer to let things play out on their own. Felicia quotes the first, second and third rules of being a good P.I. which is apparently enough to make Roy turn the number over. Zander arrives and Felicia leaves. Roy informs Zander that it is time to pay Sonny back�
(WE don�t get to hear the details because the next time we see Roy�)
Alexis is telling him that she is PG and won�t risk being involved in his business if he is just another thug. Felicia overhears the question as she arrives and quickly defends Roy. She tells Alexis that Roy is a good and honorable man. Alexis comments that she used to think the same herself not to long ago about Sonny. She asks Roy again but Felicia insists Roy is a man of his word. Alexis notes that Roy didn�t answer directly and advises him to find a new lawyer. Roy profusely thanks Felicia for defending him and believing in him. When Roy embraces her, Felicia is startled to discover that Roy is carrying a gun. Before they can get into the subject of why, Roy receives a call informing him that he has gotten his meeting with the �Money Man��

C&M COFFEE WAREHOUSE:
Zander sprays what appears to be insecticide on the warehouse's inventory. When he hears someone approaching he hides and observes as a man places a leather bag amongst the coffee sacks. After the man leaves Zander checks the bag and finds it is filled with cash. He takes the bag with him and leaves. A few blocks away he stops and calls the authorities with an �anonymous� tip that the coffee at the warehouse is contaminated�

LAKEHOUSE:
Skye paces as she rants over to phone to Edward about Jax�s cheating ways. She says she wants to precede full steam ahead with Jax�s downfall. The door opens behind her; Skye quickly turns and finds herself face to face with two strangers. Jax appears in time to hear Skye demand their identities and introduces them as his parents (did I mention that Skye is in her robe AND wearing a cold cream mask?). Later Skye is surprised to learn that Jax�s mother is a regular competitor in Alaska�s Iditarod race. Something makes Skye realize that a previous call from a woman on Jax�s phone could have been his mother (Sorry a missed a few minutes so I don�t know exactly what happened). At his mother�s urging, Jax goes off to talk to his father leaving a nervous Skye alone with her. Skye�s fears prove groundless when Jane thanks Skye for making her son happy again. Meanwhile outside, John asks Jax about his feelings for Skye. Jax admits he cares deeply for her, which makes John happy because he feared that Jax would never get over Brenda. Later, over tea on the terrace, Skye has an accident and excuses herself to get cleaned up. (It is unclear-to me at least-if the spill was really an accident or contrived though it would appear to be the latter since Skye lingers just inside the door and eavesdrops on the Jacks� conversation.) Jane and John tell Jax that they are delighted with Skye and think she is a �keeper�. Skye is surprised to hear Jax agree with them� (Personally I�m not impressed by their taste especially when you remember that they DIDN�T like Chloe)

SONNY�S ISLAND:
After being escorted to their suite, Carly thanks the bellman and gives him a tip. Sonny intercepts it and finds it contains a note claiming she has been kidnapped. Sonny tells her that she isn�t going anywhere and reminds her that HE OWNS the island. He goes out on the terrace and tries to get her to join him by talking up the view. Carly locks the door and yells nasty things at him. When she gets no response, she pulls the curtain back only to find that Sonny isn�t there. The front door busts open and in strides Sonny. He starts to talk about all the memories the room holds for them and thinks that they should forgive and forget and start working on a baby ASAP. Sonny tells Carly that she means everything to him. When Carly replies that he no longer means anything to her Sonny dares her to prove it. He asks her to agree to what ever he wants for the next 24 hours. If in that time he can�t change her mind she will be free to leave and he will abide by her wishe to be left alone. Carly accepts the challenge-but only to prove she doesn�t care anymore or so she claims. Later, Sonny has provided a candlelight dinner and they are both dressed to the nines (HE looks especially yummy!!). He insists on placing her wedding rings back on her finger. During dinner Carly puts on a display of her best �worst behavior�, which includes smacking gum and sticking it on the table, tucking her napkin into the top of her dress, spitting out the lobster and demanding burgers, beer and chips. When Sonny makes her dance with him, Carly grabs a breadstick, noisily eats it while dancing and wipes her face on the shoulder of his white dinner jacket. Sonny, who has taken all of her antics in stride, retaliates by nuzzling her neck. Carly tries to pull away but Sonny reminds her that she agreed to do what ever he wanted. Carly makes a show of lying down on the sofa and invites Sonny to have his way with her. Giving a yawn and closing her eyes she tells him to wake her when he�s done. Sonny ignores her comments and tries to kiss and cuddle her but Carly fakes sleep (and does a pretty good job of being limp). Sonny caresses her neck and upper chest with a piece of ice and finally gets a response from Carly. She starts to kiss and caress him. When it is clear that Carly is now a willing participant, Sonny gets up and walks away. Carly can only look on in gaping disbelief and finally screams in frustration� (I missed a couple of moments during this scene so I�m not sure exactly what-if anything- Sonny said to her before leaving)

COURTHOUSE:
Rick tells Scott that everything is in place for him to be named as the new DA (I am amazed that someone who has been gone almost 20 years would still have this kind of pull). Scott says he doesn�t want the job but Rick urges him to reconsider, as it could be beneficial in the upcoming days. Later Scott calls Bobbie and tells her to turn on the TV. Bobbie watches as Scott gives a press conference in which he announces that he has been named acting DA and his first order of business will be to get the criminal element off the streets. He announces that he has issued a warrant for Sonny�s arrest on kidnapping charges but refuses to name the �victim� when a reporter asks. Suddenly a familiar voice calls out and demands that Scott answer a few questions. Scott looks over and sees Luke standing amid the reporters�

KELLY�S:
Bobbie is upset by Scott�s intent to arrest Sonny. Alexis stops by and Bobbie asks for her help on Sonny�s behalf explaining that the #%&% is about to hit the fan�

LIZ�S STUDIO:
With siren�s blaring in the background Zander arrives and lets himself in. He looks around and finds a hiding place for the bag of money. He puts it in a crate under a table and covers it with a paint stained apron. He is watching the havoc from the window when Liz arrives. She asks him to tell her that he had nothing to do with whatever happened at the coffee warehouse�
