KELLY’S:
Scott interrupts Rick and Bobbie’s breakfast together and suggests that Rick look up other old friends. Carly blows in and demands to know why Scott doesn’t have the restraining order ready yet. Scott informs her that he is on his way to pick it up. Bobbie doesn’t need to hear the details to realize that Carly’s plan didn’t go as expected but is surprised to learn of Carly’s newest tactic. Not for the first time Bobbie wonders if Carly has lost her marbles (haven't we all though?). Enter Sonny, who demands an audience with Carly. She tells him to stop calling her his wife and refuses his attempted bribe - an apple turnover. Sonny wants them to try and talk things out but Carly refuses to listen to anything. Carly tells Sonny that she has taken a restraining order out to keep him away from her. When Sonny refuses to leave, a cop who was having breakfast at the counter, arrests him on the spot while a smirking Carly looks on in delight. But once she is outside, she calls Jason and tells him she needs to talk to him immediately. Later, Ned, who is running late, finally shows up to meet with Alexis, who isn’t there at all. Ned questions Bobbie who informs him that she hasn’t seen Alexis but a good place to start looking for her would be the police station since Sonny just got arrested and his one call is always to her. Ned rushes off to find Lexi…
LIZ’S STUDIO:
Liz and Zander’s morning starts off with the usual awkward morning-after-the-first-night routine (when neither party knows what to say). Zander assures Liz he did not consider it a casual encounter. Jason knocks on the door and fills Liz in on the fire. He asks how she is and reassures her he still has someone looking out for her. Zander makes his presence known when he pulls the door completely open and tells Jason Liz doesn’t need HIS protection. Jason grabs Zander and pushes him up against the wall with an arm at his throat. Liz intervenes and stops Jason from hurting Zander. Jason gets a phone call from a desperate Carly and immediately leaves. Liz tells Zander he should go as well and accuses him of making it obvious they slept together just to rub Jason’s face it in. Zander accuses Liz of sleeping with him only because Jason wasn’t handy (well duh!!). Liz tells Zander that she isn’t sure what she really wants from him or from Jason but states that she isn’t sorry they spent the night together. Neither is sure where they are going but both agree it is best to just let things happen and see where it leads them…
ELM ST. PIER:
Jason is irritated to learn that Carly is the reason that Sonny has been arrested and points out that Sonny currently does not have a lawyer. Carly claims she doesn’t care about Sonny anymore but doesn’t want to be the reason he is locked up (because of his claustrophobia). She asks Jason to get Sonny released. He agrees to accompany her to the station but makes it clear that SHE will have to handle Sonny’s release on her own…
PCPD:
Alexis questions Taggart about the Pier 52 fire and lets him know that she is now representing Roy. Taggart shows little interest in finding out the details. He thinks it is arson and hints that Roy could have done it for the insurance. Alexis tells Taggart that Roy has an alibi for the night of the fire – Felicia…
Luke and Laura question Mac about the fire in the Scorpio-Jones attic but he has to tell them they have no leads. Luke voices suspicion of Scott’s claim that he just happened by the night of the fire. But without evidence of wrongdoing Mac won’t question Scott further for fear of legal complications. Frustrated Luke departs but Laura remains behind to try and coax Mac into letting see the arson investigators report. Before she can find Mac again, Scott approaches her and she gets a flash of memory. Laura remembers seeing Scott in the attic that night. Laura tells Scott that she knows he was there that night and asks him to tell her what happened. Scott says he remembers that night but claims they were alone. He reminds her that they used to meet there way back when to get around her curfew. Laura is sure Scott is hiding something but he urges her to let go of the past. After she leaves Scott calls Rick and tells him they have to talk…
Sonny is brought into the station while Alexis is still there. He is happy someone called her, but Alexis lets him know that she is there on Roy’s behalf. Sonny is puzzled as to why Alexis would claim HE is too dangerous to work for then put herself at risk working for Roy. Carly and Jason arrive as the two are speaking and Carly immediately flies into a rage and tells Taggart to throw the book at Sonny. Sonny calmly asks Carly to get him out but Carly would rather cross words with Alexis. She calls Alexis Sonny’s lap dog. Alexis denies that Sonny called her and when Sonny confirms that Alexis now represents Roy, Carly calls her a turncoat (if that's not a case of the pot calling the kettle black-I don't know what is). Mac announces that Sonny has to be released because he was never officially served with the restraining order and consequently didn't violate it. Mac tells Jason and Carly to leave. He then tells Sonny to wait awhile before leaving but insists that he is now on notice and had better not violate the order. Before leaving Sonny tells Alexis that she really should reconsider having Roy as a client if she wants to keep herself and the baby safe…
(It was was really sort of touching and apparently Alexis thought so too)
Shortly after that Ned storms in and approaches Alexis where she is conversing with Taggart. Ned announces that Alexis is pregnant and tells Taggart that she is giving up the criminal defense side of her practice. After Taggart congratulates her, Alexis pulls Ned aside and demands an explanation. Ned leaves her speechless when he tells her that he will not let her put HIS child in danger. Alexis sputters for a few moments but insists she is capable of choosing her own clients. Ned urges her to follow his advice - for the baby’s sake…
KELLY’S:
Luke finds Rick and Bobbie still together and tries to question Rick again about his and Laura’s relationship. Rick leaves after receiving a call and Bobbie demands to know what is going on. Luke fills Bobbie in on the attic mystery and floors her when he says he believes Scott is also involved. Bobbie defends Scott but Luke is determined to find out what happened that night long ago and the night of the fire also…
ELM ST. PIER:
Liz runs into Jason and tries to explain about her and Zander but Jason says it doesn’t matter. Liz insists that it matters to her because she cares about both Zander and Jason. Jason makes a comment and Liz finally notes that Jason is now treating her as coldly as he treats other people. She comments that he used to treat her with warmth and understanding before and asks what happened. Jason coldly tells her that things have changed. She says she didn’t realize when things changed (is she stupid as well as blind?) and he tells her she must have blinked and missed it…
PCPD:
Scott tells Rick that Laura is remembering more and more everyday about that night. Scott tells Rick that he has tried to get Laura to give it up but she doesn’t believe his version of the night’s events. Scott comments that if Laura continues to remember ‘they are finished’. Rick assures Scott that if that does happen they will have no choice on how to deal with the matter…
CARLY’S HOUSE:
Sonny shows up and tells Carly to rescind the restraining order. She refuses and he warns her that if she doesn’t give them a chance to work things out he will take matters into his own hands and she won’t like it. Carly calls him selfish and arrogant. Sonny accuses her of blowing their chance for a life together (what else is new?) and tells her she is the most important person in his life. When Carly again insists that Sonny leave-he agrees to go…
BUT FIRST…
Sonny grabs Carly and throws her over his shoulder, carries her to the limo and tosses her into the backseat, then locks the doors. While a trapped, helpless Carly snarls and rages at him, Sonny (with a satisfied grin-that brings his boyish dimples out-) joins Max in the front seat and orders him to drive on as planned…
if I forgot anything important or
you have comments…
