General Hospital Update for Monday, 22-Jul-2002

Today would not be marked as a favorite in the book of all Jason and Liz fans. After finding Liz and Zander in the heat of the moment, a heartbroken Jason sped off into the night. A serious phonecall, interrupting Felicia and Roy's smooching, informed the business partners that Pier 52 was on fire. Roy sent Felicia home, not wanting her to find out that he indeed is working for someone other than himself. Out of the corners came a sneaky Jason who then broke into Roy's apartment and searched the place. To his advantage, he discovered a briefcase stocked with cash. Sonny tries to calm an insane and raged Carly by telling her she can officially have his child after a few more treatments. Snarly (oops! I mean Carly) did her best to try to make Sonny mad at her by reminding him of all the mistakes she has made, and she failed at this. He then attacked her with a kiss, when a serious call from Jason interrupted what might have been Sonny's last chance. He was forced to leave for business's sake, when a corrupted Carly then called for a restraining order on Sonny. Courtney was called away to work much to AJ's disappointment. Later that night, Courtney's lonely husband called the bank looking for her, only to find out that no Courtney is employed. At the end of today's show, a shady character is presented before us on the phone, seeming to have something to do with Roy and Pier 52. In front of this new man appears a woman, one of whom's face is not shown, the only clue viewers have is an anklet on her foot.
As far as my opinion goes, I was not very fond of today's episode, being the Liason fan that I am. Fans like me will have to just hold onto their hope a little longer, and perhaps someday we will be rewarded with the couple of Liz and Jason.
