General Hospital Update for Thursday, 18-Jul-2002

CLUB 101-
Skye instructs the staff to forget everything Carly told them because she is going to raise the standards. Jax comments on her managerial skills. Skye reels off a list of changes she has already made and an even longer one of things she wants to change. Jax comments that it sounds expensive and joking asks if she is trying to bankrupt him. Skye laughingly agrees and wonders how long it would take. Jax says it will take longer now than before because his deal with Traycon, which he has just finalized, will be quite lucrative. Jax says the deal went off without a hitch and he was surprised that Edward didn�t even try to interfere with it. Skye is also surprised (more like shocked) at Edward�s lack of sabotage�

CARLY�S HOUSE-
Carly awakens after calling out Sonny�s name to find that Jason is still there. He tries to tell her that everything will work out but Carly insists that she will not forgive Sonny for the way he chose Alexis over her. Jason tries to get her to see that it isn�t true but Carly insists it is really over this time. The doorbell rings and thinking it�s Sonny again, Carly throws the door open and yells for him to go to hell only to find Bobbie on the other side. Bobbie greets Jason and inquires about Michael. The following conversation makes it obvious that Jason has spent the night. Immediately after Jason departs Bobbie scolds Carly for falling into her old bad habits. Carly sarcastically thanks Bobbie for the faith in her. Bobbie inquires as to what happened this time. Carly doesn�t give her any details but tells Bobbie that it is really over this time because she is tried of always being second in Sonny�s life. Bobbie advises her to try and work things out and comments that if Carly had slept with Jason it would destroy Sonny. Carly agrees and you can see the wheels turning in her head. Bobbie notices the malicious grin and advices Carly to try harder to fix her marriage instead of scheming to permanently end it by concocting a revenge scheme that will backfire. But we all know Carly is going ignore the advice�

PC GRILLE-
Ned has a glass of milk delivered Alexis table. Sonny arrives and invites himself to sit down with her. Alexis reminds him that they no longer have any business either personal or professional. Sonny claims he just has one question then comments (pointing at the glass of milk) that he is glad to see she is taking care of herself. Ned appears behind Sonny and orders him to back off. Alexis tells both that she doesn�t need their help with her diet and tells Ned that the sooner HE goes away the sooner Sonny can finish his business with her and leave. Sonny asks Alexis to recommend another attorney because he didn�t care for the previous ones. Before leaving he comments that she could go easy on Ned because it is only natural for a man to want to take care of a woman when she is carrying his child�

Q HOUSE-
Over breakfast Reginald needles Edward about how he should have listened to his stock advise while Alan looks on. Kristina barges in (suitcase in hand) wanting to return the key to the gatehouse. Edward asks what Ned did wrong and Kristina blurts out that Ned got Alexis pregnant. After recovering from the shock, Edward sympathies with Kristina. Reginald tells her she should consider herself lucky because Q children don�t fare very well. Edward says that it is because of Alan and Monica bad parenting but Alan counters that sometimes Edward sells his grandchildren�
LATER-
Skye storms in and finding Edward alone demands to know why he did nothing during the Traycon deal to bring Jax down as promised. Edward tells her that he was testing her to make sure she would come through on her end. Skye angrily reminds him that she has brought him down before and will again if she has to. With the warning that she will grind him into dust if he double crosses her she departs. Edward is apparently very happy with the results�

SONNY�S PH-
Jason admits that they have had no luck finding out where Roy got the money for Pier 52. Sonny suggests that only a few people would have the resources-like the Q�s or Jax. Jason tells Sonny that he spent the night at Carly�s listening to her cry. Sonny says he thinks Carly just needs time to calm down. Jason doesn�t think it will be that easy and tries to explain why Carly feels betrayed. Sonny keeps interrupting Jason�s attempt to explain why Carly feels like Sonny choose Alexis over her. Sonny asks for Jason advice and Jason says he thinks Carly wants respect. Sonny thinks that three wedding ceremonies show a lot of respect. He tells Jason about Dr. Bonds call and says he believes that the news that she CAN conceive will bring Carly back to him. Sonny tells Jason that he wants to buy the club back for Carly and tells him to make Jax an offer�

DOCKS-
Ned finds Kristina crying. When he reaches for her she tells him not to touch her. Ned asks how she knew it was he. Kristina tells him that she recognized his aura. Ned thanks her for making his life better and begs her to give him a second chance. She claims that she isn�t sure she will be able to trust him again. Ned says they can start with something small. He�ll go get his car and Kristina can just sit and think about the future. He walks off but is waylaid by Alexis, who doesn�t see Kristina. Alexis tells Ned how she didn�t appreciate his ordering her a glass of milk. Kristina goes on a tirade about how the pregnancy is only the beginning. The two of them (Ned and Alexis) will be linked to each other for at least the next eighteen years probably even longer. Alexis and Ned try to convince her that there is nothing between them but Kristina insists that they will be a family and she will not be the one to come between them. She picks up her suitcase and walks away. Alexis wants to go after her but Ned thinks they need to give her sometime alone. Alexis realizes how much Ned really loves Kristina and apologizes for getting him mixed up in her problems. Edward calls Ned and summons him home with claims of a family emergency, then tells him to bring Alexis along also�

CLUB 101-
Skye demands that Jason leave the moment he arrives. Jason tells her he has a meeting with Jax and won�t leave until it is over. Skye reels off a big speech about how she will be the sole Q heir and wonders what he will do when the money is gone. Jason thinks she is sad and pathetic to be waiting around for someone to die. Jax arrives and Jason makes an offer for the club on Sonny�s behalf. Jax turns it down claiming he already gave the club to Skye. Jason says he knows the real reason is because he just wants to rub Sonny�s nose in it and wonders how far Jax would go to bring Sonny down. Jax asks if there is trouble but Jason just ignores the question. After Jason leaves Jax asks Skye what is bothering her. Skye denies it but Jax tells warns her if she doesn�t tell him he will just find out on his own. Skye gives him a spiel about how hard it is for her to adjust from running a multi-million dollar corporation to running a nightclub. Jax doesn�t swallow it and lets her know he overhear her comment to Jason about being the only Q heir. He asks her if she is conspiring with Edward behind his back�

SONNY�S PH-
Kristina manages to get past Johnny and tells Sonny that he is responsible for Alexis being pregnant. She says that it is his fault because Alexis rebounded to Ned when Sonny broke her heart. She tells Sonny that he needs to break up with Carly and open up his heart to a woman who loves. To give Sonny credit, he listens quietly to Kristina�s tirade, until she says Carly is a witch and starts to call her names. Sonny orders Kristina to shut up. He tells her to get out and never return to the building since she doesn�t live there anymore. Kristina leaves but assures him that what goes around comes around � his heart break is coming�

Q HOUSE-
Alexis is horrified to learn that Edward already knows about the baby. Edward is happy as a clam but Ned informs him that the baby will be completely off limits to him. Alan warns Alexis to keep her eyes open or Edward might sell her baby too. Lila joins the group and Edward forces Ned to tell her about the baby. Lila is delighted to learn she will have a new great grandchild, but shocks Ned and Alexis when she says she can�t wait to start planning their wedding�

CARLY�S HOUSE-
Carly invites Jason over to dinner. He resists the idea and she tries to coaxes him by saying she will cook whatever he wants. Jason finally agrees to the evening but only if Carly will order pizza instead of cooking herself. Carly hangs up with a self-satisfied smile and goes through her lingerie. She picks out a sheer black lacey nightgown. Holding it up in front of the mirror she smiles a calculating smile as she puts her plan into action�
