General Hospital Update for Thursday, 20-Jun-2002

ON THE DOCKS-
Jason meets with Benny who hands over an envelope. Benny then asks why Jason and Sonny wanted a cashiers check for $100,000-instead of the usual cash. Jason tells him it is some old business they need to take care of�

KELLY�S-
Over breakfast Alexis gives Kristina the bare facts version of being trapped in the cottage. Kristina says she believes Alexis is telling her the truth, but also believes that Alexis is withholding something. Alexis then tells Kristina that she needn�t worry about Ned because he really cares about Kristina. Alexis goes into detail about how Ned couldn�t stop talking about Kristina during their time together. She just about has Kristina convinced when she makes the mistake of saying Ned thinks her belief in feng shui is very interesting. Kristina knows Alexis is lying because the one thing she is sure of is that Ned hates the very concept. Later when Ned arrives Kristina grills him too. Ned has a little fun with her as he tells Kris that after they built a fire he and Alexis made love until they where cross-eyed. She realizes he is playing with her, but despite another reassurance that she is the only woman he is interested in, Kristina remains unconvinced.

At another table-
Zander is sitting and talking to a young man who is obvious a drug user. Liz arrives just in time to see the man give Zander money. After he leaves, Liz joins Zander and tells him she knows what he is doing. Liz gives Zander back an expensive looking bracelet he sent to her and tells him to keep his money. She expresses concern that he is falling back into bad habits. Zander thanks her for letting him stay at her studio but advises her to mind her own business�

CARLY�S HOUSE-
Sonny wakes up to find Carly watching him. She goes on about how wonder it was to fall asleep in his arms, with leads to kissing�they don�t get very far because Michael bursts through the door asking for pancakes. Michael is very happy to see Sonny and asks if this means they are a �family� again. Sonny tells him they have always been one. Michael then reminds his mother that she promised him a baby brother or sister. Carly insists she didn�t �promise�. Sonny tries to explain that babies take time but it will happen. �Maybe for Christmas?� asks an excited Michael. After Michael leaves Carly apologizes and is pleasantly surprised that Sonny is not angry with her. In fact Sonny wants to get started on making a baby ASAP. Carly DOES NOT take the opportunity to tell him the truth. Benny calls and tells Sonny that Jason has the check. Sonny then tells Carly about the donation he is making to GH in honor of the Day of Compassion and Stone. Carly is estatic when Sonny proposes that they go to Martinique and renew their vows. Sonny says they can leave immediately after he takes care of some business later that same day. While Sonny showers, Carly receives a call from Dr. Bonds at Mercy hospital. The Doctor explains that Carly tubes are blocked which is why she can�t get pregnant. Dr. Bonds asks Carly to come in for some tests. Carly is eager but the first available appt. is not for three weeks. The doctor then notices a cancellation for that evening. Carly is reluctant but the doctor explains that it is either that same night or wait three weeks. When Sonny returns Carly lies and says a serious problem has come up at the Club. She suggests they postpone the wedding trip-for a few days, and tells Sonny she will out late-at the club�

MERCY HOSPITAL-
After an initial meeting with her Doctor, Alexis sits in the reception area and fills out forms. Suddenly she hears a familiar voice saying she needs to be checked in-
CARLY.

SPENCER HOME-
Laura fills Luke in on all the problems regarding the wedding. She asks Luke for his input for planning a new one-she DOESN�T want to try to recreate their first wedding. They agree the first wedding was prefect, but they will only fail if they try to do it over. Leslie suggests that Laura call Rick (Webber) and ask if he will �give her away� again. Laura is hesitant, because she thinks it will be uncomfortable for Leslie. But Leslie insists it will do her good to see him again. Laura calls and is happily surprised when Rick promptly agrees. She promises to call him back when all the details are settled. Luke gets on a roll and tells Laura he is going to try to track down the �jalopy� they used for their first wedding. Later, Leslie and Laura look through some old photos. When they come upon an old picture of Amy, Laura wonders where it was taken. Leslie tells her it was taken at the old house, but Laura insists it is NOT-the staircase is different. Leslie points out that it is the stairs to the attic in the garage, not the main house. Laura doesn�t remember them and Leslie is surprised because she claims Laura spent a lot of time there when she was younger�

ON THE DOCKS-
Liz runs into Jason who tells her he is on his way to GH to drop off a check in honor of the �Day of Compassion�. Liz asks about Robin, but Jason tells her they don�t keep in touch anymore. Liz apologizes for blowing him off the previous time, but as usual Jason tells her there is no need, he understands. Liz admits that, while he was gone, she thought about Jason every time she heard a motorcycle. The subject turns to Zander, and Liz admits she is very worried about him. Jason wonders why she cares, and Liz asks why he cares about Carly even after she has messed up his life so many times. Jason can�t explain it. Liz says ditto about Zander. Then she rambles and says maybe she thinks that if she can help him straighten his life out, she�ll be able to get a handle on her own. Liz declines a ride on Jason� bike again, but when he starts to walk away, she calls him back�

Elsewhere-
Zander arrives at what appears to be a club/hangout. He questions someone about who can help him get what he needs and ends up finding an old friend. During their conversation the old friend reveals that he and his long time partner (also an old friend of Zander�s) are split and that SHE has aids.

KELLY�S-
Alexis arrives to find Sonny waiting for her. Sonny thanks her for coming and tells her it is important. Alexis wonders why Sonny isn�t at the hospital with Carly. They says she just came from there and saw Carly checking in�

THE LAKE HOUSE-
As they breakfast together, Jax urges Skye to trust his business know how. But Skye is shaken when Jax refers to a business takeover as a �seduction�. When Jax suggests they take a trip together six months in the future, Skye is very standoffish and tells him she prefers not to make plans that far ahead. Later, Jax receives a phone call from a woman who informs him that she has found the exact necklace he is looking for. Skye enters the room just in time to hear Jax say �Thanks Celine! What would I do without you?� Jax informs Skye that he must go to Australia ASAP on business. She immediately changes attitude and suggests she accompany Jax on his trip to Sydney-to make sure he doesn�t get bored. Jax manages to convince her that he would be very busy with business-no time for sight seeing-and SHE would be bored. Skye claims to understand and accept but remains suspicious. After Jax leaves, Skye receives a phone call confirming Jax�s hotel reservations-
IN PARIS, FRANCE�

MERCY HOSPITAL-
Dr. Bonds explains to Carly that the procedure they are about to perform doesn�t come with a guaranty, but it could help them determine what the exact problem is and therefore the best course of action for treatment. Later Carly questioning a nurse about the after effects of her procedure when the door flies open and Sonny walks in demanding to know what is going on�
