General Hospital Update for Friday, 14-Jun-2002

Apparently Luke has tracked Helena to a convent. He has no luck getting information from a convent full of nuns who have taken vows of silence. Just as he is about to form a new plan he meets a monk. Later we see Luke and the monk talking while sharing a bottle of port. Luke manages to convince the monk that he is with an inter-net magazine. As Luke hoped, the port loosens the monk�s tongue. Luke learns that a new �novitiate� has recently arrived. Unfortunately, the monk passes out before Luke can confirm if she is Helena or not. Not one to let a small setback stop him, Luke �borrows� the monk�s outfit and proceeds to move freely about the convent in his search for the Dragon Queen. At least until a stout, stern sister coerces him into presiding over mass. As Luke delivers a stirring (and at times hilarious) homily on �SIN�-he walks around and looks in to the face of each woman gathered. Before he can get to the last one, she gets up and hurries out of the chapel. Luke quickly follows the �sister� and catches up with her in the courtyard. He announces to Helena that the jig is up, but when he pulls back her wimple he is surprised to find it is NOT Helena at all�It�s LAURA�

After her appointment with Dr. Meadows Carly stops by and tells Jason why she's made plans for a big night with Sonny. She wants to get started on a baby right away. Jason cautions her that she is moving to quickly and needs to slow down�

Sarah and Liz come close to having an argument outside of Zander�s hospital room. Meanwhile inside the room, Lucky warns Zander to stay away from Liz. Liz snarls at Lucky, and tells him she doesn�t need "protecting" from Zander. Sarah enters with Zander�s discharge papers. Later, after learning that Zander plans to move into the PC Hotel (at least until his cash runs out) to avoid Jason at Jake�s, Liz invites Zander to move in to her studio. At first Zander refuses, but when Liz insists and points out the added bonus of how it will antagonize Lucky, he agrees. Once they make it to the studio Liz points out all the amenities, hot plate, sink, window, smell of paint, sofa bed. They are interrupted by a knock on the door. Both believe it�s Lucky come to voice his objection, but Liz is surprised when she opens the door and finds Jason instead�

Still trapped in the cottage by the storm, Ned explains to Alexis how he uncovered her secret. She confirms that it is Sonny�s baby and gives Ned a chance to say I told you so when she berates herself for not seeing Sonny�s true persona sooner. Alexis tells Ned that she has no intention of telling Sonny about the baby. Ned tells Alexis how much he and Brook Lyn have missed out on by living apart for so long�

After Jason reports that they found Alexis� car broken on the road close to Brenda�s old cottage, Sonny goes to check the cottage himself. Once he arrives, he peers in through the window and is dismayed to see Ned and Alexis wrapped in a blanket, apparently sharing a close moment. Sonny jumps to the wrong conclusion and retraces his steps�

Carly shows up at the PH just a Sonny is leaving to look for Alexis. He assures her he will return soon, but doesn�t tell her where he is going. Carly enters and finds Jason waiting. She suggests he leave but Jason refuses saying Sonny asked him to stay. When Sonny finally does return Jason warns him that Carly has been �cooking� and quickly excuses himself (goes to see Liz). After dinner, while Sonny is in the kitchen preparing dessert, Carly receives and upsetting phone call from Dr. Meadows. The good DR. informs her there is a complication-Carly CAN�T get pregnant�
