General Hospital Update for Thursday, 13-Jun-2002

Carly asks Jason for help keeping things good with Sonny. She is worried that she will end up shooting herself in the foot. Jason tells her that Sonny loves her just the way she is. However, he advises her to always tell Sonny the truth. Carly leaves frustrated with Jason's lack of �help�.

Maxie pays Roy an early morning visit claiming she needs advice on resolving her problems with Felicia. Maxie tells Roy that Felicia has the hots for him. Felicia arrives on the scene and reveals that Maxie KNEW Felicia was headed for Roy�s to discuss business. Maxie says she wanted to teach Felicia a lesson about interfering in someone else's relationship. After a brief argument and shouting match, Felicia sends Maxie to the car. Felicia apologizes for Maxie's remarks and leaves abruptly. Later, Felicia returns and Roy learns that she has passed on a job (working undercover for MAC) for the two of them because she thinks she'd be a bad partner. Roy disagrees and suspects that Felicia is hiding her emotions; she won�t make eye contact. Felicia denies that she told Maxie she was attracted to him. Roy reveals that he thinks she is HOT. Felicia tries to drop the subject, but Roy won't let it go. He tells her how attractive he thought she was when she was undercover at the waterfront bar. Roy talks Felicia into teaming up with him. She tells Roy that Mac needs a �couple� for an undercover project.

Laura and Bobbie search for Laura's engagement ring. Though Bobbie is sure that Luke would understand, Laura refuses to consider having another ring made. Laura fears that Helena is making good on her threat to put a curse on her and Luke's wedding. Bobbie tries to remain calm even after Elton bursts in and announces that the wedding is falling apart around him. Seems the pipes have broken in the church and its now closed do to mold and mildew. Laura is more convinces that Helena has put a curse on the event. Bobbie calls a psychic to help find the ring. Things continue to go downhill as Elton returns and reveals that the fabric for the bridesmaids' dresses ended up in Madagascar and the caterers are suffering from food poisoning. The final straw is when Scott arrives and informs Laura that due to a screw up at the courthouse, she and Luke can't get married. The legal papers have just vanished. Laura starts to leave and runs into the psychic at the door. Laura pushes past her and continues on her way without telling Bobbie or Scott where she is going. The psychic is unsuccessful in finding Laura's ring. Bobbie gives the psychic Laura�s scarf and urges her to try again. The psychic finally has a vision of the ring, but it's on Bobbie's hand�

Alexis tells Sonny that she's moving out at the end of the month. Alexis admits that she feels pressure to leave but doesn't give him any details. Sonny asks if Carly had anything to do with her decision or if she is basing it on what she thinks he did to Zander. Alexis says Carly had nothing to do with it. Sonny confesses that he likes having Alexis across the hall. Alexis tells him she is just looking out for her own future. Later, Carly arrives and complains about Jason's living conditions. Sonny asks her point blank if she had anything to do with Alexis' decision to move. Carly admits that she �suggested� that Alexis move. But she also claims that it would be good for everyone. Carly is surprised and happy that Sonny isn't angry with her for interfering. Carly suggests that they don't rent the penthouse to anyone. She suggests they knock out some walls and expand their PH to accommodate their hopefully expanding family. Sonny agrees. Carly makes an appointment with her ob-gyn and leaves for an office visit.

Ned declines a lunch invitation from Kris claiming he has a meeting. They agree to meet for dinner. What he neglected to mention was that his �meeting� included Alexis. The car overheats and breaks down which leads the duo to finally discuss their past and current situations. Ned says he thinks their problems have made them stronger and will ultimately make their friendship better. Ned realizes that the car radiator hose has sprung a leak. Ned�s phone goes dead and Alexis forgot hers so they can�t call for help. Just to make things interesting, there�s a heck of a thunderstorm brewing. They remember that Nik�s cottage is close by and after securing the convertible; they make a run for it. They are soaked to the bone by the time they arrive; however the phone is dead so they are stuck. They end up having to remove their clothing and make use of some blankets to wrap themselves in. Ned opens some wine (to ward off the cold), at first he offers her a glass but when he takes it back and comments that he forgot she can�t drink, Alexis guesses that Ned knows she's pregnant.

Carly tells Jason that his advice worked. She tells him she was honest with Sonny about suggesting that Alexis move out but admits that she didn't tell Sonny just how badly she treated Alexis. She reveals her happiness over how calmly Sonny took the news. She is almost giddy when she tells him that Sonny also seems to want to expand their family. Carly is convinced that a baby would guarantee her a �forever� with Sonny.

Kristina knocks on Sonny�s door looking for Alexis. She expresses concern that Alexis is nowhere to be found, esp. since she doesn't have her cell phone. After Kris reveals that Alexis missed a meeting and no one has heard from her, Sonny becomes concerned and offers to search for her�
