General Hospital Update for Tuesday, 21-May-2002

Okay.. Sorry about the delay, but here's the update, and this time it is for the right date!! :)

@ Wyndemere
Nik is asleep on the couch still clutching the plaque that was sent to him. He is having a dream about a little boy alone on a bench. Laura approaches and asks him what's wrong. The boy (Nik) says he wants his father. Stavros approaches and tells him not to worry. He is a Cassadine and has all the power in the world. The little boy and Laura fade away and Stavros turns to grown up Nik and tells him that he was the only one who truly loved him and he is very proud. Gia walks in as he is waking up and Nik explains the dream to her. When asked about the plaque, Nik tells her that he has no idea how or who he got it from. Thinks its the same person who left the note.
Nik is fully awake now and is tossing keys to one of his houseguests, he explains that they are for his country house which they have complete access too. The others are hesitant to leave, but Sharifa insists that they must go and give Gia and Nik some privacy. After they leave, Nik tells a concerned Gia that he has a plan to find out which one of his new friends is lying to them.
Later, Nik finds out that Sharifa is an undercover cop. She comes in through the tunnels after she thinkgs Nik has left. He stands outside and watches her snoop through papers. He enters the room pretending to look for Gia. A suprised Sharifa tells him that she was going to go to the cottage but changed her mind. Nik informs her, falsley, that he wants to write a memoir of sorts about the Cassadines and will she help him? He becomes VERY flirty (putting an arm around her waist, etc.) and says that they will be spending ALOT of time together. Does she mind? Gia is outside the room listening to the conversation, turning livid.

@ HOSPITAL (Nurses Station)
Sharifa approaches Taggert and he asks her for any new info. She wants to turn in the tape but Taggert again reminds her that he only wants Nikolas not Gia. Tells Sharifa to try harder to get more info.

@ HOSPITAL (Waiting Room near Carly's)
Kristina approaches Zander and they both talk about how amazing it is that Carly is alive. Zander admits to Kristina that he hasn't seen Carly yet, because Sonny is still with her. Kristina asks Zander her never-ending question, What do YOU want Zander? He tells her that he has to do what's best for Carly. Kristina thinks that he should go to her because Carly probably wants to see him. He is reluctant to leave and Kristina thinks its because he's avoiding the real issue, his feelings. Zander says that he got what he wants, Carly is alive, his feelings don't matter cause now Sonny and Carly have a chance to be together again. Kristina reminds him that Sonny and Alexis have started something and she doesn't think Sonny will forget that. Kristina thinks that him and Carly have a REAL shot a being together. Zander thinks her reaction all boils down to Alexis and Sonny, but Kris reminds him that Carly has always respected someone who goes after what they want and doesn't let anything get in the way. Zander conceeds and goes to Carly.

@ ALEXIS'S PENTHOUSE
Alexis is lost in an article about Carly's reappearance and seems relieved. Ned arrives. She makes it clear that she is busy and doesn't want another "diatribe" from him regarding her obsession with Sonny. Ned states that he actually was looking for Kristina, but now that she mentions it, tells her that he wants to be her friend and help her through what comes next. He will always care about her no matter how wrong she is. He continues to try and get her to talk, but she won't. Reminds her that Sonny has alienated her from her friends and family except Kristina who is really worried about her. Jokingly, Alexis tells him that Kris has made it her hobby to worry about her. She tells him that her choices are hers and no one elses. Ned asks her what choice Sonny will make. Ned thinks Sonny is still in love with Carly. They agree to disagree and Ned tells her that he just wants her to be happy. She gives Ned and Kris her blessing and kicks him out. She is in a hurry to leave and Sonny shows up.

@ HOSPITAL (Carly's Room)
Bobbie comes into the room and Sonny admits that he is worried because she hasn't woken up yet. She assures him that is a good sign. They go outside and talk more about Carly's condition. Bobbie is concerned about Sonny, but he won't leave. He wants to be there when she wakes up. They talk about how Bobbie KNEW Carly wasn't dead. As Bobbie leaves, Sonny goes back into the room as Carly is waking up from a nightmare. She wants to know why Sonny is there. She tells Sonny that she only remembers the accident itself, but nothing before or after. Just a cabin somewhere. She thinks it was all a dream, but he assures her that she wasn't dreaming and that she was indeed missing. She wants to know why she was driving by the lake and Sonny tells her that she was upset and she wants to know why. Her only memory is leaving the club to give Sonny Michaels b-day card and the rest is blank. Sonny won't fill in the blanks. Bobbie enters and tells Carly that Sonny has been there all night. Carly tells him to go home and get some sleep. At first he is reluctant but than agrees when Bobbie assures him that she won't leave Carly. Bobbie tries to help Carly remember and Carly knows that Sonny is lying to her. Bobbie tells her to forget the past and focus on the future. Later, Michael arrives to visit his mother. Wants to know if she's sick. Carly assures him that she will be home soon. He wants to throw a party for her and Uncle Sonny cause he never had his party. She agrees and looks up to see Zander in the doorway.

@KELLY's
Felicia is trying to have a mother/daughter moment with Maxie. She suggests that Maxie apply for a job at Kelly's for the summer, but Maxie announces that even though Lucky hasn't asked yet, she will be working with him. She is convinced that he needs her and that she knows when it is something more than just friendship. Maxie tells her mother that she is a WOMAN and asks her to stop treating her like a kid.

@HOSPITAL (Lucky's room)
Lucky is admitting himself into the hospital for a wrist injury and Sarah just happens to be his doctor. They go on and on about how they can't be together, Liz will get hurt blah blah blah (Am I the only one who is sick of this story line? Liz is a big girl, I'm sure she can handle it!---Sorry about that, had to vent). Taggert comes in and wants to talk to Lucky about Nikolas. Asks him how far he think Nik would go to protect Gia. Lucky tells him that Nik is capable of anything, look at what he has already pulled off.
Outside, Maxie has asked Sarah to prescribe her birth control pills. Maxie explains that she has met a GREAT guy who really cares about her. Sarah tries to convince her to see a councellor or talk to her mother before make that decision. Tells Maxie that she won't prescribe the pills. Maxie asks how Sarah knows Lucky.
Sarah goes back into the room and after some more we can't be together crap, Lucky tells Sarah that is going to take her on a vacation. Just the two of them. (Isn't that against the rules?!?)

ON THE NEXT GENERAL HOSPITAL:
1) Taggert and Mom(can't remember name): "You can't send Gia to prison?" Taggert: "I don't want to but I might have to."
2) Gia confronts/accuses Nikolas of hitting on Sharifa.
3) Roy/Luke at Ms. MacIntyre's apartment, she wants to know who they are and what they want.
4) Carly tells Zander she needs to tell him something.
5) Sonny asks Alexis the question that has been on everyone's mind: What's next?
