General Hospital Update for Monday, 13-May-2002

At the brownstone...

Jax assures Sonny and Bobbie that the body found is Carly's. Bobbie insists that Carly is not dead, again, and also insists she is not in denial. A mother knows. She pulls out Carly's hairbrush and tells them to do a DNA test on the body to prove it isn't Carly.


At the park...

Courtney and Michael meet and bond over Rosie the dog. He mentions "Uncle Sonny's" upcoming birthday party and she wonders why he calls him uncle. Michael says it is his daddy really. Leticia goes on and on about what a great father Sonny is. When they leave, AJ comes out of hiding and tells his new wife how glad he is to see his wife and son getting along so well, that it will help when they are in court fighting for custody. Michael brings Courtney a flower and AJ is about to say something to his son, but Courtney stops him and reminds him of the restraining order. Leticia pulls Michael away. Courtney urges AJ to wait on a custody battle, that Michael may have lost his mother and needs some stability for now. Give it time, she suggests. He finally agrees, although admits it will be hard (and the smirk behind her back might suggest differently). Bobbie arrives, yelling. She lets them have it and ignores Courtney's claims that it was all innocent. She tells them the body found is not Carly, despite what they may have heard. Courtney cannot believe poor little Michael lost his mother!


At the Deception dark room...

Lucky is showing Maxie how to develop pictures. When she runs off to do an errand for him, Sarah shows up with news about the body. Lucky wants to get to Bobbie, but Maxie somehow manages to lock Sarah and Lucky in the dark room, alone, together. Uh oh. Lucky decides to get back to work, but being in the dark near the beautiful Sarah is too much to handle. She tries to get him to remember their vow to try to stay away from each other, but he decides that maybe fate wants them to be together!


At Wyndermere...

Nikolas denies he is upset about Lucky. Gia blames herself for the whole situation. Nikolas accepts some blame, too, and tells her that he told Lucky everything anyway and it didn't change Lucky's feelings. Gia is shocked that Nikolas told Lucky. Nikolas says it will be all right, one's word against the other's. They decide everything will be all right as long as they stick together. A videotape arrives for Nikolas. There is a note from Helena, "You've kept your part of the bargain, I've kept mine." On the tape is footage of Gia agreeing to do anything Helena wants to help her escape. Gia is a nervous wreck, but Nikolas assures her it just means Helena has her ace in the hole and will leave them alone now. They needn't worry about any other copies of the tape showing up. As they are talking, Sharifa the Spy shows up and wants to know what they are watching. Sharifa, by the way, has been told by Taggert to get something on Nikolas in 48 hours or she is out. When Gia and Nikolas get distracted by more packages, Sharifa steals the tape and brings it to Taggert.


At the hospital...

Sonny wants to see the body in the morgue. The coroner unwraps the body bag and Sonny gags, runs out. Jax says goodbye to Carly. Sonny is in a state of shock and ends up collapsing in the elevator.
