General Hospital Update for Thursday, 9-May-2002

Nooky day!!

At the gym...

Sarah & Lucky can’t keep their hands off each other. They make out, tell each other how alive the other has made them feel, fall to the floor in passionate kisses. Screech. Sarah puts the brakes on it. She thinks they have to stop, for Elizabeth’s sake. Maybe at some other time, they’ll be able to get together, but now it isn’t right. Sarah comes up with the bright idea that one will help the other get through this, helping to stay away from each other. Yeah, sure, that’s going to work. It barely lasts ten seconds before they are in each other’s arms again, although they are able to stop from kissing. They end the day alone with their thoughts.


In AJ’s portion of the Quartermaine house…

AJ presents Courtney with a romantic room, a rose. Then, he gives her a checkbook and credit card in her name, telling her she is free to spend money as she wants. She is a little resistant and insists she didn’t marry him for his money, but he insists she take it. They make love.


At the crash site…

Alexis and Sonny both admit that they have talked to Zander and realize that Carly caught them together. Sonny blames himself, worries about AJ and what he’ll do. Sonny admits aloud that Carly is dead. Sonny continues blaming himself, despite Alexis trying to reassure him that it was just a horrible coincidence, an accident, an unfortunate turn of events. Sonny admits that he had basically been stringing Carly along for nearly a year and this was the culmination of those events. A diver finds a shoe and Sonny confirms it is indeed Carly’s. Sonny and Alexis end the night with him dropping her off at her place and ending up alone in their thoughts.


At Ned’s place…

Kristina tells Ned she thinks Alexis is hiding something from her. She thinks there is more worrying Alexis than just Carly. Ned tries to calm Kristina down, tells her it is good to care about others, but she shouldn’t kill herself over it, she should let Alexis lead her own life. They talk and decide to be together. They end the night making love.


At the Port Charles Hotel…
Rae is happy to have dinner with Skye & Jax. When Skye leaves her mom alone with Jax, Rae admits to him that she isn’t a meddler, but tells him she is worried that beyond his charm, she wonders if he is trustworthy. Jax assures her that he is, but tells Rae that he wonders if Skye will ever believe that he trusts her. Alone with her mom, Skye asks for advice on how to make her relationship work. Edward butts in and tells Skye that Monica filed for a divorce from Alan, blaming Rae. When Edward starts with the put-downs, Jax jumps in and warns him he better stop. Skye is a little distraught about Monica’s divorce filings and feels she is partly to blame. She vows to help them get back together, although Rae sternly advises against it. The only advice Rae gives her daughter is to not follow her first instinct. Alone for the night, Skye tries again to have Jax help her blackmail her grandfather, but he gently refuses. They end the night in each other’s room, making love on the floor.
