General Hospital Update for Tuesday, 7-May-2002

SPENCER HOME:
During a phone conversation with Bobbie, Luke lets slip that he thinks Michael dreamt or imagined seeing his mother. Luke tries to suggest that his sister prepare for the worst, but Bobbie will not hear him out. Later he and Laura talk about the time when Luke had to tell her that Lucky was dead. They recall all the bad choices they made which led to their divorce. Luke promises not to make the same mistakes again. Both promise to ALWAYS be there for each other�

JAKE'S BAR-ZANDER'S ROOM:
Kristina shows up at Zander�s and finds him wracked with guilt over Carly's accident. She does her best to convince him that IF Carly is gone, he's not responsible and that she would want him to go with his life...

BROWNSTONE:
Maxie tires to offer Bobbie her support when she relates that she also saw and had a conversation with BJ after her death. Bobbie takes it the wrong way and ends up rejecting the girls help and hurting her feelings. Lucky who was present for the episode comforts Maxie. He helps her realize that Bobbie is just in denial but deep down does appreciate her words and presence�

SONNY'S PH:
After finding the birthday card Michael made for Sonny, Alexis guesses that Carly WAS in the PH that night AND saw them together. Sonny doesn�t want to accept that and denies that it�s a possibility. He leaves abruptly leaving behind an extremely affected Alexis.

BROWNSTONE:
Nik shows up with the news that Carly�s purse was found-in the lake-by one of his divers. It is bad news. However, Bobbie is delighted to hear that not only is Nik not giving up the search but also he intends to expand the search area after hearing Michael�s story. In the midst of this, Nik once again appeals to Lucky to find a way to get past their differences and bond again. His luck is better this time as Lucky agrees to hear him out. Lucky asks for the truth �Did you help Helena escape?�. Nik tells Lucky he had nothing to do with Helena�s escape from GH, just from Spoon Island. Lucky listens as Nik explains that he couldn�t turn Helena over to Luke knowing Luke meant to kill her-his conscience wouldn�t let him live with it. Lucky questions why Nik didn�t call the police. Things take a downward spiral from there as Lucky summarizes that the deadly threat Helena poses to the Spencer family paled in comparison to the inconvenience of having Gia and himself officially charged for their minor crimes. Crimes, which Lucky points out, ANY one of his well-paid lawyers could have dealt with and had easily dismissed. Once again Lucky turns his back on his brother and walks away�

GYM:
Sarah shows up at the gym and express concern that Liz is overdoing her workout. After some tense moments and angry gazes harsh words are exchanged. Liz tells Sarah that she wishes Sarah had never returned to PC. Sarah tries to ignore the comment and express sympathy for the loss her sister suffered, but Liz throws Sarah�s words back as she says her sister would never understand because she has never lost�at anything or anyone, they are both unaware that Lucky has entered the gym and overheard the entire exchange. After Sarah leaves, Lucky approaches Liz and informs her that she is wrong, Sarah has suffered a great loss-her husband�

ALEXIS' PH:
Ned arrives at the penthouse and tries to apologize to a very distracted Alexis. He tells her that he is sorry for expecting her to keep something that big from Sonny-who has only trying to protect his sister. After she accidentally knocks over a lamp, Alexis guiltily confesses that she feels responsible for Carly's accident and why. As Ned tries to reassure Alexis that she was not responsible for the break-up of the Carly�s marriage or the accident Kristina shows up. Ned tells Kristina that Alexis feels responsible. Alexis excuses herself and runs upstairs�

ZANDER'S ROOM:
Sonny shows up and asks to speak with Zander alone. After Kristina leaves, Sonny questions Zander about the night of Carly's car crash. Zander is angry and upset but hesitant to reveal anything. When Sonny continues to press, Zander finally confesses that Carly left upset because he kicked her out of his bed. Amazingly Sonny holds his temper-barely and continues to question Zander about Carly�s actions that night. Zander finally comes clean about his attraction to Carly, the kiss Carly told Sonny about and the incident the night of Carly�s accident. Struggling to hold back his emotions, Sonny presses Zander for more details and Zander finally confirms that Carly saw Sonny and Alexis is bed together before she came to him�
