General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 1-May-2002

Nikolas rushes to defend Gia when he thinks Courtney is harassing her about the accident. (What a joke) Gia explains to Nikolas how she's agreed to try to help Courtney learn the truth about her marriage and is hoping that Courtney will get Sonny to back off about the accident in return (yeah cause she and Sonny are soooo close)�

Courtney returns to the Q mansion just in time to overhear Edward and AJ discussing how SHE is the key to getting Michael back. She immediately confronts AJ about it; he tries to persuade her that she misconstrued what she heard (shouldn�t be too hard since she is so blind and gullible where he is concerned). Courtney shrugs off his reassurances that he loves her and step out on the terrace. There she runs into Ned who offers to help her by dispensing some hard gained insights regarding the Q family. However, before Courtney can spell out her current problem, Edward interrupts to announce Courtney�s guest has arrived�

Skye continues questioning Jax about Brenda's tragic end but he refuses to discuss the painful episode. Jax ends up leaving very upset, when Skye asks why Jax never refers to Brenda as being dead (I�m glad someone else noticed this too). Does he just refuse to accept it or is he hiding something? she asks�

Zander is very disappointed when the person in his doorway turns out to be Kristina not Carly. After some questioning by Kristina, an anguished Zander admits how upset Carly was when she left after he refused to sleep with her. After he tells her he feels responsible for Carly�s accident, Zander brushes aside her concern and reassurances. He tells her to leave him alone and leaves the room, but Kristina refuses to leave him be and follows him�.

Bobbie snaps at everyone gathered as they try to console her. Bobbie finally breaks down and cries on Luke's shoulder but insists that her daughter is still alive Upstairs; Laura and Liz manage to keep Michael distracted and finally get him to settle down and go to sleep. Meanwhile outside Lucky continues his antagonism towards Nik when the latter stops by to offer Bobbie his support and help. Bobbie stops the ensuing argument, warmly welcomes Nik, gladly accepts his help and informs Lucky that weather he likes it or not SHE considers Nik family. Later, Maxie also stops by on the pretext of offering support for Bobbie, but Felicia becomes suspicious of her real reason when the young girl immediately asks about Lucky�

Skye shows up at Jax�s with a bottle of champagne and a gourmet meal in way of an apology for her earlier insensitive behavior. Her actual apology leads Jax to pull her into his arms for a kiss and they end up making love. Later, Jax learns that an unconscious woman matching Carly's description was admitted to a nearby hospital (WHY would they call him instead of her husband, mother or next of kin?) and rushes off to confirm her identity�

Courtney tells Gia to dispense with the niceties and get to the meat of the problem. She instructs Gia to get AJ to talk about his feeling for her to see if Gia can determine weather or not he is lying. Later, just as AJ is about to tell Gia HOW and WHEN he knew he was in love with Courtney they are interrupted. This time by Det.Torres of the PCPD (though he�s never been seen or heard of before). The Detective asks to speak to AJ alone, but AJ insists that what ever it is Courtney should be present. The Detective then informs the couple that they have information from a reliable source that Sonny may have ordered a hit on AJ�

Bobbie gets very upset when after going to check on Michael, she realizes that he is not in bed where Laura and Liz left him and the back door is wide OPEN�
