General Hospital Update for Tuesday, 23-Apr-2002

Candlelight, music, and passion erupt as all facades crumble between Sonny and his lovely,smart attorney-friend Alexis. In a sizzling scenario ,fireworks go off as Sonny makes love to a willing, but shaky Alexis. Sonny said, "You forced me to choose, and I have chosen you."Where will this lead? This viewer is not sure.
AJ and, his unfulfilled wife Courtney return to the Quartermaines even though their honeymoon was a disaster due to AJ's drinking. Monica and Alan are shocked:however, Edward wecomes them to the family. At first, Courtney is angry because AJ did not discuss living there with her.He uses some reverse psychology so--- when BIG ALICE approaches to show Courtney around the estate, Courtney changes her mind. She said, "Show me a room with sunlight and a view of the garden." Skye tries to intervene by explaining to Alan and Monica how AJ has begun to drink again.Alan is wary of this news ,but Monica doesn't believe Skye.Skye says, "AJ feels indestructable now.You know what I mean, dad." Skye is actually trying 'to save AJ', but to no avail" . She asks Jax to take her away from the Quartermaine chaos. Can you believe that Edward is gloating over AJ's courage with Sonny? It's the very first time that Edward has lavished praise on this vulnerable grandson.
Elisabeth plays a trick on Sarah and Lucky. With all the venom and wrath, Liz can spew ,She tells them that she had seen them --groping--kissing. She sarcastically tells them that she "is done with them." Lucky tries to convince Liz that the kiss was nothing and that he is mixed up."Please tell me the truth , Lucky."Wouldn't you enjoy kissing Sarah again or something like that.?"He looks rather speechless. Liz says "I RELEASE YOU!"She slaps a rather pathetic looking Lucky and leaves. YEA FOR LIZ! :-) When Sarah returns, Lucky looks sheepish again. I wonder why.POOR LIZ!
Carly tells Zander that she had kept her cool and distance from Sonny because of him. She buys a pool table and wants to take him out for dinner to show her appreciation. In the mean time, a rather perturbed Kristina tells Zander"You were right. Ned just wanted me because I do not have the baggage Alexis has." She infers that NOW will be a great time for him to put the move on Carly. He says,"When the time is right, moves are made." Carly is FINALLY seen with a new little redheaded Michael. It's about time! How can Carly speak of him sooo often and not be with him? There definitely needs to be more quality time with Michael. He has made something for Sonny and is anxious to give it to him. Carly tells him that she will hand deliver it to Sonny. When she arrives at the penthouse, the door is unlocked. She tiptoes upstairs and finds Alexis in a warm embrace in bed with HER SONNY. Will there me a major ,bad scene? Tune in tomorrow to see.
