1. Spencer House - “Parenting” - “The morning after,” a cheerful Luke skips down the stairs of the Spencer house, only to find himself face to face with Lulu and her Sunshine troop. His precocious daughter wants to know if he and Mommy got married already, because they slept in the same room last night. A quick-thinking Luke replies that no, he and Mommy had a sleepover like the ones she has with her friends. Laura comes down and assures Lulu that the wedding has not occurred yet, and yes, she still gets to be the flower girl. Lesley takes the troop into the kitchen for some milk; Laura goes to help. Lucky comes in, agitated and needing advice about how to deal with his duplicitous brother. Laura comes back into the room, and she and Luke try to help Lucky. Laura points out that Nikolas is struggling right now, and Lucky shouldn’t let his relationship with his brother be torn apart. But we made a pact to not let past feuds touch us, Lucky said. Luke says that Helena is to blame, and they’ve all felt the sting of her plots. But there’s no excuse for letting Helena escape, Lucky emphasizes. Laura asks him if he really wants to go after his own brother. She and Luke both stress that Nikolas made a mistake, like all of them do. Laura says he needs his family’s help to pull him off the wrong path, and she urges Lucky not to do something he’ll regret. Still in turmoil, Lucky leaves.
2. Wyndemere - “Family Pressure” - Nikolas greets Gia in the morning with a glorious breakfast repast and announces that he wants to take her to Hawaii that night and marry her there. What about our families? she asks. A bitter Nik says he has no family. But Gia still does, Taggert says from the doorway. He has a few last questions about the accident and wants to speak to Gia alone. Nik reluctantly leaves (and later listens from the tunnel). Taggert reminisces about how Gia always said when she was little that she wanted to be rich. Looks like you got your wish, he observes. What’s your point? Gia asks. Taggert wants to know what happened to her; how can she lie to his face? He says she’s always taken the path of least resistance. He wants to know if Nik was pressuring her to lie about the accident; did he threaten to leave her? Taggert says he’s here to help; she’s a survivor and will be okay. Gia states she will never leave Nikolas. A disappointed Taggert pronounces she and Nik have a long road ahead of them. He leaves.
3. The Docks - “Discovery” - Jax finds Skye on the docks. She says she hasn’t forgiven him. He silences her with a passionate kiss. She (eventually) pulls away, still angry. Jax tells her there’s a chance Sonny won’t hurt A.J.; the mobster never acts in the heat of the moment. Then he puts his foot in his mouth by repeating his favorite phrase: “A.J. brought this on himself.” Ned arrives just in time to agree with that statement, adding that at least this time A.J. was more daring than usual. Disgusted with both of them, Skye runs off. Jax tells Ned that the Quartermaines shouldn’t dismiss her. Then he gets a call. He hangs up and reveals the location of A.J. and Courtney; they’re in a private villa on an island in the Caribbean. Ned wants to tell Alexis. Jax says she’ll tell Sonny. No, she’s too afraid Sonny will murder A.J., Ned points out. Jax warns him not to trust Alexis where Sonny is concerned then hurries off.
4. Alexis’ Penthouse - “Trust” - Alexis says Jax is right in wanting to keep Sonny away from A.J. She says if he does something illegal he’ll go to prison, which is bad for his claustrophobia. Sonny acts like there’s no problem. Alexis points out that A.J. is trying to get him to lose control. She warns him that if he does anything illegal she will recuse herself from the case, and he will go to prison. Then she’d miss him. Who would talk her down when she’s ranting? Who would cook her good meals? Who would she talk to? Sonny assures her he’s not going to prison. He takes an eyelash off her cheek; she makes a wish. The tender moment is interrupted by a tone from her laptop telling her she has mail. They go check and see a photo of Courtney in bed (obviously wearing nothing under the sheets) and a note from A.J.: “I’ve got her now. Love to you both, A.J.” Alexis accidentally erases the message; Sonny heads across the hall. Ned arrives and says he knows where they are, but can he trust Alexis not to say anything to Sonny? She promises. Ned tells her where A.J. is and says he’ll be back to pick up Alexis later to take her there. Alexis goes upstairs to get ready.
5. Skye’s Suite - “Surprise” - Jax arrives with room service, but Skye assumes he wants only one thing and drops her robe. Jax hands her a plate and says she needs to have a good meal before their trip. They’re going to A.J. An ecstatic Skye kisses him and asks if he can forgive her for the terrible things she said about him. No worries, Jax grins. He tells her to get ready and leaves.
END SCENES - LATER IN THE DAY:
Luke and Laura wonder what will happen between Lucky and Nikolas. Delirious with love for his ex/future wife, Luke says she should hope for the best.
Skye and Jax are in his plane readying for take-off when warning alarms start to sound. They have a problem, Jax says.
Alone in his study at Wyndemere, Nikolas is suddenly grabbed by the throat from behind. It’s Lucky who has him in a death grip!
Alexis is ready to go with her suitcase when Sonny knocks on her door. He says he’s headed to the Caribbean to be close when his contacts catch up with A.J. He wants to know where she’s going. Ned arrives and says she’s going to L.A. with him to help him with some contract disputes. Sonny says he wants the truth. If she knows where Courtney and A.J. are, she should tell him. He fixes a torn Alexis with his cold stare . . .
