General Hospital Update for Friday, 5-Apr-2002

In Lucky’s dark room...

Luke sneaks up on Lucky and scares him. Luke tries to point out that Helena can show up anywhere and Lucky needs to be on guard. Luke informs his son that Nikolas helped Helena. Lucky, of course, doesn’t buy it. Luke says she is holding something over Gia and Nikolas helped. Lucky says he has a hard time believing Nikolas would do something to hurt someone he loves. Enter Elizabeth to offer more proof. Before she can to into specifics, Luke gets a call from Roy and heads off to the arcade. Liz fills her boyfriend (?) in on all of Nikolas’ bad-doings. She is in utter disbelief. He compares his brother’s actions to Helena’s brainwashing. She suddenly understands what Lucky went through all this time. She does admit all the good things that Nikolas has done for her, but she doesn’t know what to do. Lucky tells her to get her things and Sarah and move back in with her grandmother. They head off to Windermere to give Nikolas a piece of their mind.


At Windermere...

Gia wonders what Liz is doing. She bets she is headed for Taggert and worries what it will do to his career. Nikolas doesn’t think Liz would head to the police and even if she does, she has no proof and is a known ally of Sonny so will not seem credible. Gia wants to leave town; Nikolas doesn’t want to run away. He wants to dance (?). Gia isn’t in a dancing mood and turns off the music. She wants to come up with a plan. Nikolas reassures her and tells her that if one lie changes his relationship with Laura, Lucky, Liz, whoever, then so be it. Nikolas is happy about having money and he doesn’t think the truth-bending really hurt anyone—Liz is fine, Courtney only got a ticket. He doesn’t feel guilty about having means. Nikolas tells Gia that they wouldn’t lose anything worth having. Lucky & Liz show up at that point and hear Nikolas. “Does that include me, brother?” Lucky asks.


At Alan’s office...

Skye shows up to tell her dad her tale of woe. Alan tries to sympathize, but it is not to Skye’s liking. He points out that he can never win with her. They commiserate about how they both need to find a better inner voice to listen to… Skye mourns how Jax had offered to help and she ruined that. They say good-night and both remain reflective.


At Sonny’s penthouse...

Alexis tells Carly she didn’t lie for her, she used “creative semantics.” She leaves Carly & Sonny alone. Carly tells her ex that Alexis can’t be trusted. He admonishes Carly for her behavior, asking her if she ever puts Michael first. Carly explains that she is not his problem to solve. They discuss their mutual distrust of each other. Carly doesn’t seem to understand why Sonny doesn’t trust her. (Is she serious?) She doesn’t like to be cut out of the loop. He doesn’t discuss business with her. He tells Carly to think through her actions and to leave Skye alone. Carly uses the opportunity to put down Skye and say how crazy she must have been to be scared. No normal person would have been scared in a similar situation (not me). Sonny says the difference between Skye & Carly is that Carly is brave and Skye is a coward. They make amends. Then, Carly puts down Alexis and says that she probably thinks she knows him and has seen him at his worst, but only Carly herself can boast that. Sonny tells her that years ago, when she helped him at rock bottom, maybe he still feels like he owes her for that. He isn’t trying to treat her like his property.


At Alexis’ penthouse...

Sonny goes there after Carly leaves. He has made cappuccino. Alexis prattles on about her inability to cook. Sonny tells her she is the only person he can trust now.


At Club 101...

Carly offers Jax a drink. He wonders what he should do about his “dangerous” partner. She tells him that Sonny is out of her life (haven’t heard that before, have we?) and that the incident tonight will never happen again. She tells Jax to stay away from Skye, it’s in his best interest. He said he’ll take it under advisement, considering the source. They share a hug as Skye looks on. She again promises there will not be a repeat performance of her antics and he tells her if there is, he will shut down the club so fast. As Jax leaves, Skye comes out of the darkness and scares her. “Hello Carly!”


At the arcade...

Roy & Felicia are looking for some pilot who might have helped Helena escape. They are unsuccessful, but do have a chance to flirt with each other. Who should show up at the arcade but Maxie and her little high school pals. Felicia sees her and freaks out. Maxie mouths off to her. Luke shows up just as Maxie is getting sent home. Roy runs up with a tip to go to the train yard. Off they go.


At the train yard...

Felicia & Roy are doubtful that Helena would be at the train yard. They go off to check one part. Luke wanders around and comes across a heap of clothes. What do you know…it’s Helena.
