General Hospital Update for Monday, 25-Mar-2002

At Windermere...

Nikolas tries to stop Lucky & Luke from investigating the tunnels, but is unsuccessful. Gia is upset, obviously afraid they’ll find Helena, but she tells them it is because she feels unsafe. Laura is convinced Spoon Island is safe. The Spencers leave. Alone, Nikolas asks Gia about Helena, but Gia denies knowing anything. Nikolas decides to test her and goes into a room and opens a safe filled with lots of money and then leaves Gia alone in the room. Of course, Gia grabs a bag and starts filling it up with cash. Nikolas is annoyed to find Gia has taken the money.

Back at shore, Luke wants to go back and search for Helena again because he thinks Nik & Gia are hiding something. Laura wonders why he is questioning her son. He leaves her (alone?) to go back and investigate.

Gia finds Helena at the stable and throws the money at her and tells her to get lost. Nikolas shows up, finding his grandmother and tells her it isn’t quite over yet.


At Club 101...

Skye shows up looking for Jax. He isn’t there but Carly uses the opportunity to try to get information about AJ’s whereabouts. Carly foolishly tries to appeal to Skye, but it doesn’t work. Skye isn’t convinced that AJ is any more unsafe a choice than Sonny and she refuses to help. Bobbie, who’s been worried about Carly’s safety with Helena on the loose, shows up with Scott. Skye leaves. Carly reassures Bobbie everyone is safe. Bobbie asks what she walked in on with Skye and wonders why Carly is so intent on helping Sonny. Scott and Carly bicker about Sonny/AJ/etc… Carly gets one of her brilliant ideas and races out.


At the Quartermaine house...

Monica, Ned, Edward and Alan are discussing AJ. They are shocked and worried to find out that Alan helped. They are offer pessimistic resolutions. Alan insists that Courtney seemed special, seemed to really care about AJ and that AJ has changed. At that, Skye walks in and tells her father he’s been conned. She tells the family his motives are solely based on revenge. Monica is angry with Skye for not telling everyone what AJ was up to. Like they would listen? Alan is mad at himself and at AJ; he vows to never forgive AJ. Skye explodes at everyone and tells them all is their fault; their treatment of AJ led him to be so destructive. She storms out, leaving the Quartermaines to think about what she said and to realize she was right. Skye is out walking alone on the property when someone grabs her from behind and throws her into a shed, locking it behind her. It is Carly!!


In Sonny’s penthouse...

Alexis is trying to help Sonny out, suggests he go to bed. He flirts with her, makes her uncomfortable. Mike shows up and Sonny gets violently angry with him. When Mike leaves, Alexis finally is able to convince Sonny to go up to bed. He wants her to put him to bed. She walks him to his door; he wants him to go into his bedroom. Then he flirts with him some more and even disrobes in front of her. She is incredibly uncomfortable. He just grins at her. Finally asleep, he has a nightmare about himself as a boy, locked in a closet, with his mom yelling for help, but then he realizes he is a grown man still locked in the closet and Courtney is the one screaming for help. He wakes up from the nightmare to find Alexis still there. He doesn’t want to talk about it; she agrees sometimes talking is useless.
