1. Wyndemere Stables - “A Rat” - Gia tells Lucky that Helena is not in the stables. Lucky says he will kill Helena with his bare hands to protect Elizabeth. Helena, hiding behind some bales of straw, starts at that revelation and bumps a bridle hanging next to her. The noise causes Lucky to start searching the stall. Gia screams and tells Lucky she saw a huge rat. She convinces him to take her back to the house.

2. General Hospital - “Alert the Press” - Luke tries to convince Mac to alert the press about Helena’s escape, but Mac says he doesn’t have the manpower to handle all the false leads that would generate. Nikolas arrives and asks to speak to Luke privately. The go to the hospital roof, where Nikolas relates the riddle Helena told him: “When is the sun like the dark of the moon and never brought to the light?” They figure Nik is the son (sun) and Stavros the dark of the moon. Luke suggests Nik check to see when the next eclipse will occur. Nikolas confesses that he dreamed he was Stavros. Luke says he once dreamed he was a two-headed centaur. He tells Nik that breaking the rules is not always a bad thing; you make the rules for your own life. Later, back in the hospital, after Nik has left, Luke holds a press conference. Mac shows up and Luke tells the group that “Commissioner Scorpio will be happy to answer all your questions about the escape of Helena Cassadine.” Aside to Mac he says, “Go ahead, pal. Just because you can’t find her, doesn’t mean somebody can’t.”

3. Wyndemere - “Apologies” - Elizabeth is shocked to hear from her sister Sarah that Helena has escaped. She freaks out, imagining that Helena is nearby watching, listening, in the walls of the house. She wants to warn Lucky, but Sarah says he already knows. Elizabeth realizes that’s the reason he wanted to take her away. Lucky and Gia come in and Elizabeth confronts him about Helena. Doesn’t he think she deserved to know the truth? They need to be honest with each other, she says then storms out. Gia slips out during the fight. Lucky yells at Sarah and declares he’d lie to Elizabeth again to keep her safe. He says he’s tired of apologizing for his actions. Sarah says it’s her turn to apologize to him; she now realizes he’s pretty special for not walking away from Elizabeth when his feelings changed. Lucky points out that he and Elizabeth have been through a lot. They were meant for each other; that kind of love can’t just disappear, can it? He hopes his love for her comes back. Sarah agrees and touches his arm in sympathy. Lucky appears disturbed by her touch; he pulls away and says he’s going to go check on Elizabeth. But before he goes, he tells Sarah he’s not mad; she was just helping her sister, and he’s glad they’re friends.

4. L & B Studio - “Background Info” - Kristina tries to convince Ned to warn Courtney about A.J., but Ned refuses, saying he won’t interfere if she’s stupid enough to fall for a guy like A.J. That comment seems to hit a nerve with Kristina, who yells at Ned for being a jerk. She asks why is it stupid to believe a young man who says he loves you? She blurts out that Ned shouldn’t blame her if Courtney winds up in an Italian prison for 10 days for assault. WHAT? Ned wants to know what she’s talking about. Kristina tells him about a guy from her past who was a lot older than she and who said everything she wanted to hear. I came from a good family and still fell for the jerk, she points out. With Courtney’s background, no wonder A.J. looks like Prince Charming. She pleads with Ned to help. He appears to soften. They kiss.

5. Sonny’s Penthouse - “Brainstorming” - Carly points out that she and Sonny have stopped A.J. before; they can do it again. Sonny makes note of the “we.” Carly says she’ll fight A.J. with or without Sonny. Agreeing to nothing, Sonny asks what her hypothetical course of action would be. Carly says they need to get A.J. quarantined and keep him in the hospital. Doesn’t he have anyone on the take at GH? Sonny says she’s been watching the gangster movies again. They’re joking around when Alexis shows up. Sonny asks her to subpoena Janine’s bank records, because he thinks she’s getting money from A.J. He says A.J. told Janine he wants to marry Courtney. Carly again suggests a quarantine. Alexis takes a practical point of view: “He has something you want - Courtney. You have something he wants - Michael.” Carly immediately flips out and declares she will never bargain with her child. Alexis points out she was just making a case analysis; you need to look at what your opponent wants and find his weakness. Sonny leaves the room to go talk to Benny. Alexis hangs around, much to Carly’s annoyance. It doesn’t help when Alexis observes (accurately) that Carly started the whole mess by lying about Michael’s paternity. An envelope is slid under the door. Carly yells for Sonny, then goes to pick it up. It’s A.J.’s handwriting, she says.

6. Wyndemere Stables - “Like Father, Like Son” - Gia returns to the stables and looks around for Helena. Suddenly, she hears a loud squeak, and Helena pops up from behind some straw bales. She congratulates Gia on her earlier performance about the rat and says she’s as good a liar as Nikolas. She tells Gia it was careless of her to run the red light; luckily, she has Nikolas to save her. Helena is so proud of him; he’s so much like his father. She tells Gia she wants $500,000. Bring the money to her tonight and she’ll give Gia and Nikolas her blessing for a happy life. Gia goes back into the mansion and straight to the safe behind a painting. Nikolas catches her.

7. A.J.’s Room at GH - “A.J. and Courtney’s Great Adventure” - Alan tells A.J. and Courtney that Sonny’s men are everywhere. A.J. lays out his plan (we don’t get to hear it). While Alan goes off to put things in motion, A.J. asks Courtney where she wants to go first, anywhere in the world. Courtney says it all feels like a fantasy, and then she admits she might be falling in love with him. A.J. tells her there’s no rush. They commiserate about parents who let them down, then Alan comes back, after getting Sonny’s goons to relocate to the lounge. A few minutes later, Alan confronts the thugs at the nurses’ desk, while Courtney, disguised in scrubs and a surgical mask, wheels a “dead” body towards the elevator. One of the goons tries to help, but Alan tells him to stay away; the body is contagious. A.J. and Courtney safely get on the elevator. Then they’re on the roof and a helicopter is coming for them. They celebrate their escape.
