CARLY CORRINTHOS HAS THEM DANCING TO HER BEAT AT THE OPENING OF CLUB 101

The hottest club to hit Port Charles in a long time opened its doors tonight. Club 101 is the creation of Carly Corrinthos, ex-wife of alleged mob boss Sonny Corrinthos. Ms. Corrinthos, wearing an elegant black dress with spaghetti straps, was on hand to greet guests as they entered the club. Anyone who is anyone in this town made an appearance at the opening.
First to arrive was that hot young stud Zander (does he even have a last name? who cares) with a mystery date in a fuschia dress. After greeting the hostess, the couple heated up the dance floor for the rest of the evening. This reporter noticed Carly watching their moves on more than one occasion.
Lt. Marcus Taggert and his date were the next to enter. They wasted no time in joining the crowd on the dance floor. Strange that the cop who would like nothing better than to put Carly’s ex-husband in the slammer would be invited to the opening of her club.
Was that really the newest Q, Skye Chandler, in a flattering white dress with sequined straps and edging, deep in conversation with Club 101’s financial backer, international corporate raider and one of Port Charles’ most eligible bachelors Jasper Jax? Didn’t look like he was whispering sweet nothings in her ear, though.
The entrance of Prince Nikolas Cassadine and his fiancee, former Face of Deception Gia Campbell (in a stunning purple dress), could hardly go unnoticed. Even Club 101 owner Carly Corrinthos made a perfunctory bow and scrape when His Highness entered the building. Ms. Campbell made a surprise announcement later in the evening; she has decided to remain Deception’s model! Ooh, is there trouble in paradise already? Is being a princess too sedate for our wild and sexy Ms. Campbell?
Ned Ashton, the Quartermaine formerly known as Eddie Main, came with the newest Cassadine on his arm, the lovely redhead Kristina (wearing a dark blue number with long, tinsel-strand earrings). Is love in the air?
Ms. Corrinthos’ mother Bobbie Spencer Jones arrived on the arm of attractive attorney Scott Baldwin (and a billionaire to boot, since he inherited his dead wife Domonique’s fortune). Bursting with excitement (or was it just that her silver sheath dress was too tight?), Ms. Jones was seen congratulating her daughter on Club 101’s success.
And who was that bald African American weaving and spinning his way across the dance floor all night? Hire him on the spot, Carly, honey, if you want to keep the beat of Club 101 going.
And finally, Sonny Corrinthos himself was spotted walking in from the parking lot with his date, attorney Alexis Davis. The couple hesitated on the doorstep, appearing to be deep in conversation. Sparks might fly when Carly spots her ex entering with his lady in red!
