1. Laura’s House - “Homecoming” - Fresh from their latest brush with death, Luke and Laura arrive home, ready for a quiet night of romance. Instead they find Bobbie, Lesley, Lulu and a troop of little girls singing “Kumbaya” in the living room. Bobbie makes a half-hearted attempt to find out what happened to them but is given no details. She can’t stay to interrogate her brother any further, because she needs to get ready for the opening of Carly’s club. Luke is shocked that his niece is opening a club in competition with his. But he gets over his dismay quickly and suggests to Laura that they go upstairs. Lesley comes over and subtly fills them in on the fact that Lulu’s troop is there for a sleep-over. Next we see Luke tied to a chair with a bunch of little girls stuffing marshmallows in his mouth while he tries to explain the different kinds of knots. Lesley takes the gang upstairs to get in their pajamas, and Laura rescues Luke. He again suggests they slip upstairs to “their” room for a rest. They kiss, but that is quickly broken up by the giggles coming from the stairs. Foiled again! Later, Luke makes the big announcement to Bobbie, Lesley, Lulu and her friends: he and Laura are getting married again. As everyone celebrates the news, Scotty enters, unseen, and watches the happy scene in dismay. . .
2. Quartermaine Mansion - “The Art of Wooing” - Edward presents Lila with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. He starts talking about their romance and asks Lila to marry him again. Of course I will, dear, Lila sweetly replies, but I won’t give you the ELQ shares Jax gave me. Ned laughs from the doorway and tells Edward he is “so busted.” Then Ned asks his grandfather why he would upset Kristina by suggesting she have 8 children with Ned? Whatever happened to wooing? Edward again says that the old days with Lila were the happiest of his life, before he leaves the room in a huff. Ned tells his grandmother that Edward meant that last statement, but he still wants the stock. He won’t get it, Lila announces, then adds with a twinkle in her eye, “but can you tell him to keep up the wooing; I rather enjoy it.” Ned laughs.
3. Janine’s Place - “Getting Off on a New Foot” - Sonny stops by for another chat with his sister. Courtney thanks him for believing her about the car accident. Then she tells him that she hasn’t heard from A.J.; she wants to know if he did something to him. Sonny says (truthfully, amazingly) that no one has laid a hand on A.J. She seems to accept that. Sonny asks her to come to the club opening with him. It takes a little convincing, but Courtney agrees. Sonny leaves, promising to be back in an hour to pick her up. Janine arrives home and assumes Courtney is going out with A.J. No, with Sonny, Courtney says.
4. Skye’s Suite at the Port Charles Hotel - “Tables Turning” - A.J. bursts into sister Skye’s suite, lamenting the fact that he has been unable to contact Courtney for two days. Sonny did something to her phone so she can’t get incoming calls. When he tried to drive there, a cab hit him. When he tried to walk there, a road crew blocked his way. Unsympathetic Skye tells her little brother that he was wrong to go after Courtney. Astute A.J. remarks that she is just upset because Jax rejected her. Skye suddenly changes her attitude; she cheers up and says she needs to get ready to go to Carly’s club opening. She asks A.J. to help her get down a box of shoes from the closet shelf. While he’s trying to get down the box, she shuts him in the closet. Deaf to his furious shouts, Skye tells him she is trying to save him from himself. She declares she is going to eat crow and tell Jax the truth about how she feels about him. Later, after Skye has left, A.J. manages to break out of the closet. His cell phone rings; it’s Janine, upset that he hasn’t contacted Courtney. That’s Sonny’s fault, A.J. says and tries to explain that their phone won’t take incoming calls. Courtney is not happy with you, Janine warns and tells him her daughter is going to the club opening with Sonny. A.J. says he’s on his way over. But then he finds Sonny’s goons loitering in the hall. He runs back into Skye’s suite and thinks desperately . . .
5. Luke’s Club - “Treating P.A.S.” - Felecia finds Roy all alone at Luke’s Club. They surmise the lack of business is due to the opening of Carly’s club. Felecia says she’s not going to that, because Maxie was upset she was too young to go. Felecia wants to know if Roy is suffering from P.A.S. (Post Adventure Syndrome). She admits she’s worried about him. Roy says he’s okay, considering that Melissa has been extradited to Chicago. She’s a criminal, Roy; you had to turn her in, Felecia points out. Roy seems grateful for her company (a feeling that’s reciprocated), and they open a deck of cards.
6. Alexis’ Penthouse - “Honesty is the Best Policy” - Kristina arrives home, in time to give Alexis (in a flattering red dress) the box she found by the door. Inside is another gardenia from Sonny. This will make Carly’s night, you showing up for the opening of her club with Sonny, Kristina remarks. Alexis says she encouraged Sonny to take Courtney, but he asked her along, as well. She changes the subject by asking how Kristina’s trip with Ned was. Weird, weirder, then wonderful, Kristina replies. Ned and I had an open, honest conversation about our feelings for each other. That’s so much better than having to guess how the other person feels, she adds, saying she wouldn’t wish that frustration on anyone, not even her sister. Alexis does not appreciate the not-so-subtle hint. Sonny arrives, chipper (yes, actually!) and full of compliments. He tells Alexis she is so smart and so right about what to say to Courtney. Then he envelops her in a rather awkward (for her) hug. After Kristina goes upstairs to get ready, Alexis tries to convince him to take Courtney alone to the club, but Sonny says he needs her along to help fill the uncomfortable silences. But he promises to show her a good time, too. Ned arrives, and Sonny leaves, running into Mike by the elevator. Mike wants to know how much damage A.J. did. Sonny says he’s clearing it up by not letting A.J. get anywhere near Courtney. Back in the penthouse, Ned tells Alexis he understands about her and Sonny, because Kristina told him about her “blurt.” Alexis tries to act like she knows what he’s talking about. Ned says that Sonny probably already knew she was in love with him. Alexis is shocked, Ned realizes his blunder, Kristina makes a seductive entrance, and Sonny shows up at the door again, grinning and ready for a night on the town. Alexis is stricken.
7. Janine’s Place - “Try Again” - A.J. manages somehow to arrive on Courtney’s doorstep. She doesn’t seem interested in his excuses, willing to accept that he let her down. A.J. tells her he’s been trying to get to her for two days, but Sonny wouldn’t let him.
8. Carly’s Club - “Tomorrow’s Headlines” - Jax arrives first and lights a candle with one of the club’s new matchbooks. On the matchbook we finally see the name of the club - “101.” Carly makes her entrance, seeking approval which Jax readily gives for her outfit and the club. He says he can’t believe she turned an old warehouse into tomorrow’s headlines. Carly admits she’s scared to death because she wants to succeed so badly. Jax promises she will be the queen of the town before the night is over. He goes to open the doors. Skye arrives looking for Jax. Carly threatens to call security on her, but then the public starts coming in and she has to put on the gracious hostess face. Zander arrives, and Carly pulls him over to the bar for a drink. She tells him she’s so glad he came, because she really needed a friend tonight. Then he introduces her to his date, Kate the med student. They go off to dance, leaving Carly alone at the bar. Meanwhile, Skye finds Jax and announces she is about to tell him the whole, unvarnished truth.
