General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 6-Mar-2002

Friends,
When I noted that no one had signed up to recap today I decided to do double duty this week (I was already signed up for Thursday). However to help avoid what TPTB term “burnout” I am keeping today’s recap short.
It IS brief, but I hope it is also informative…

WYNDEMERE:
Sarah tells Nikolas that she knows he's trying to buy her silence about what really happened on the night of the accident. Nikolas continues to stonewall Sarah in an effort to convince her that there is no cover-up. Meanwhile, Gia gets upset when Lucky and Liz tease her about giving up her modeling career to marry her prince.

Q MANSION:
Edward suggests to A.J. that he bit off more than he could handle in this round with Sonny. Edward offers to help in return for AJ’s help with ‘insider info’ in his war against Skye, but AJ refuses to turn on his sister.

PC HOTEL (Jax’s suite):
Jax advises Skye to make herself scarce but she furiously insists on having it out with him. Jax tells Skye how despicable he thinks it is for her to help AJ use a gullible young girl as a weapon against Sonny. Skye stands firm in her defense of AJ, but Jax assures her that any relationship beyond business is impossible now that he knows what she is really like. (HOORAY! I for one hope he REALLY REALLY MEANS it).
(Skye’s suite):
Skye begs A.J. to stop his vendetta before it costs him his life, but an upset AJ storms off reluctant to give up his revenge and swearing to see through to the end-even if he has to do it alone. Later, alone in her room Skye clutches a picture of Jax to her breast as she sobs her heart (if she had one) out! (Couldn't happen to a more deserving person if you ask me!)

JANINE’S PLACE:
Admitting that he was worried about her, Sonny asks his sister why she took off. Courtney tells Sonny that she turned to AJ because HE believed her about the accident. Courtney snarls at Sonny when he tells her (yet again) that her white knight AJ is just using her to get at him. An argument quickly develops from there and ends with Courtney leaving the house alone. When Courtney returns the house is empty but she does find a note from Janine saying that AJ wants to meet her at the Q boathouse

Q MANSION:
Jax GIVES Lila his ELQ stock to guarantee her controlling interest in the company. Edward tries to charm her, but Lila is adamant in her decision NOT to give him proxy power.

WYNDEMERE:
Amid a playful gathering in the newly redecorated office, (which consists of Liz tricking Sarah into the secret tunnels and the others laughingly enjoying her half-hearted pleas for help) Sonny arrives for a chat with Elizabeth…

PC HOTEL:
Meanwhile, AJ exits the elevator in the parking garage to find that the tires on his car are flat. As he starts to curse his rotten luck, Johnny and Max/Adam emerge from the shadows…
(GULP…GULP…Has AJ pushed Sonny too far this time?)
