General Hospital Update for Monday, 4-Mar-2002

Zander has to physically separate Carly and Skye as the two women are about to come to blows. After intervening on Skye’s behalf, Zander and Carly decide to tail Skye.

Luke and Laura scramble to find a way out when the trickle of water into the abandoned mine shaft suddenly turns into a flood. Meanwhile, Felicia and Roy’s search for their missing friends leads them back to the Triple 6 Ranch. After dislodging a boulder and causing another cave-in, Luke becomes pinned beneath a fallen beam. Unable to free Luke, Laura climbs out of the cave and heads off to find help. Luke starts to “see the light at the end of the tunnel”. Unable to find help, Laura returns to the mine and struggles to hold Luke's head above water as he begins to imagine that his dead father is beckoning to him. Though it was never explained how, Roy and Felicia finally arrive and help Laura resuscitate Luke. After regaining his wits, Luke and Laura share a heartfelt moment.

Courtney is thrilled when A.J. tells her that their night out will include a visit to the hottest nightspot in Manhattan. After Janine leaves to get ready, Courtney prepares to sneak out dressed as a maintenance worker, but Skye arrives with a dire warning for AJ. Carly and Zander force their way in shortly after. Though Courtney manages to stay out of sight, AJ’s plans are derailed when the duo insist on accompanying him to the lobby when AJ tries to tell them he was on his way out.

Jax fills Sonny in on the fact that his sister has sought refuge with A.J. and is being taken in hook, line, & sinker. He is taken aback when Sonny accuses him of lying. Alexis arrives and after hearing the story urges Sonny to believe Jax. Sonny storms off to confront AJ with Johnny, Max/Adam and JAX right on his heels. He bursts through AJ’s door just seconds after AJ returns from escorting Zander and Carly downstairs and is greeted by a stunned AJ and a frighten Skye.
