General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 20-Feb-2002

On Today's Episode....

LIAR LIAR!!....

Jax gives AJ back his cufflink and accuses him and Skye of staging the kidnapping. Skye denies it. AJ thinks quick and says that it was the cufflink he was wearing when Sonny kidnapped him. AJ goes on to tell his story once again to try and convince Jax it wasn't a set up. Skye gets mad and storms out of the room. AJ asks Jax to leave and he does. Courtney comes out and admits that she heard all the awful things AJ said about Sonny. Court tells AJ she must leave for AJ's safety. AJ tells her that he isn't afraid of Sonny, but he can not force her to stay. Court finally decides that she wants to stay there with AJ.

ALMOST GOODBYE...

Roy goes to the jail to visit Melissa. He tells her that Scotty says that if she pleads guilty to a lesser charge, she won't have to stay in prison that long. Melissa informs him that she has her own lawyer and that he says if she tells the whole truth, the jury will think she did the right thing. Roy tries to convince her not to go that way but Melissa tells him it doesn't matter. She will be leaving for Chicago in the morning since the State of Illinois has pressed charges also. She then tells Roy that this is goodbye and tells him to leave. Roy assures her that he told on her to protect innocent lives. Melissa screams at him to leave and he finally does...

CAUGHT...

Alexis and Felicia walks into Ned's studio and catches him there with Kristina. Felicia wants to talk to Ned and Alexis to Kris. Felicia asks Ned for help on a case she is working on. She also tells Ned that he needs to be more sensitive to Alexis' feelings. Meanwhile, Alexis tells Kris that she wants to move out of the penthouse. Kris thinks Alexis is upset over what she saw. Alexis tells her little sister that she isn't. Ned comes in and asks to speak to Alexis alone. He asks her if she is really ok with him being with Kris. Alexis tells him yes but also warns him not to hurt her sister. Ned admits that he isn't really sure what he wants from Kris yet....

LIAR LIAR! (pt 2)...

Jax goes to Skye's room to talk to her. Skye gives him the cold shoulder since he won't believe that she was really "kidnapped" by Sonny. Jax tells Skye that this is her last chance to tell the truth and if he finds out later that she lied, they are done. Skye tells him it doesn't matter what she says since he already believes she and AJ staged the kidnapping. She then shows Jax the door....

TEXAS CONFESSIONS....

Luke badgers Laura to tell him what she said to him after he left her at Beechers Corner. Laura tries to ignore him and to find a way out. Finally she breaks and tells him that she told him Yes. Luke is shocked with her attitude about it now. Laura finally confesses that it took her a lot of courage to finally say yes and it hurt her that Luke just left without hearing her out or saying goodbye. Luke then confesses that he was afraid she was going to say no and he wouldn't be able to live life knowing she didn't want to marry him again. Luke then promises her that he may make more mistakes but he will never make the mistake of leaving her again. Laura is happy but then reminds Luke that they are scheduled to die tomorrow. Luke tells her not to worry, he has a plan...


ROY TO THE RESCUE...

Roy goes to Luke's to drown his sorrows in some booze. Felicia comes in looking for a contact that was suppose to meet her there. The two have some idle chit chat and Felicia decides to leave. Just then Elton runs in and tells Roy that Luke and Laura need him. Roy reads the note from Laura and tells Elton he needs to leave. He then asks Elton to close the club for him and Elton agrees as Roy runs out the door to rescue his friends...

On tomorrow's Episode:

-Felicia tags along with Roy
-Luke devises a plan
-Sonny pays AJ a visit
