General Hospital Update for Friday, 15-Feb-2002

Today it was back to the real world in the land of GH...

HARBORVIEW TOWERS:
Sonny flirts with Alexis over the flowers he sent her, commenting that it’s lucky for her he didn’t send rum instead. Carly exits the elevator and promptly makes a scene upon realizing that Sonny sent Alexis flowers. She insists on having Alexis present during a discussion with Sonny over the divorce agreement. Once in Sonny’s PH she pretty much accuses Sonny of getting on with his life while preventing her from doing the same. After a little prodding, Carly confesses that she has kissed and been kissed by “a great guy” and is considering going farther, but wants to know where the lines are drawn with Sonny. Sonny angrily tells Carly he doesn’t care who she spends her time with “Take the guy on a pool table in the middle of Jake’s-It’s none of my business anymore”. An embarrassed Alexis tries to excuse herself, but Carly storms out instead. Sonny asks for some alone time then comments to Alexis that he knows who the “great guy” is. Alexis returns to her PH after assuring Sonny that he knows where to find her if he needs her…

JAKE’S:
Worried about Alexis, Kristina asks Zander how risky it is getting close to Sonny. Zander assumes that Kristina is asking on her own behalf and she does not deny it. Zander tells Kristina that ANYONE who tries to come between Sonny and Carly is just asking for hurt because Sonny will never get over Carly…

SOMEHWHERE IN TEXAS:
Jennifer gleefully informs Luke that she’s dumped her hubby and has realized that she still loves HIM. She wants to pick right up where they left off 20-odd years ago-with a wedding. Luke tries to wiggle out by telling Jen that he loves Laura (Always has, always will). Jen informs him that she KNOWS they are divorced. Plus if he refuses to marry HER; she will have her men shoot him. Later, Luke desperately tries to get a fork from the table to pick his handcuffs open, but is almost caught by one of Jennifer’s henchmen. The man takes Luke’s measurements. ‘For a tux or a noose?’ quips Luke. ‘Your choice’ responds the man. Shortly after that man leaves, another enters. Luke is pleasantly surprised to see that it is Laura in disguise.

JAX’S HOTEL ROOM:
After Jax admits that he does have more than a professional interest in her, Skye bats her eyelashes and suggests they act on their mutual attraction. But after they kiss Skye pulls away and tells him she is afraid of what she feels for him. She then suggests that they would make a great team, and asks Jax to tell her what he has on Edward. Jax refuses and petty much dares her to find out on her own. Jax tells her that he IS giving Ned and Edward’s warnings about her due consideration…

GH:
Elizabeth tells Lucky they both need to let go of the past and move on with their lives because she is certain that their love can never be retrieved. Lucky manages to convince Liz to give him one more chance as Sarah overhears from the door away. After Sarah gets Lucky to leave, Liz asks Sarah for her opinion on the chance of Lucky’s love returning. Sarah is non-committal as she tells her sister that Lucky is a great guy and if he says something is so, then it must be. Later, Lucky returns and watches Liz sleep…


JAKE’S
Carly plays pool as she broods over the last scene with Sonny. Suddenly, someone touches her shoulder; she looks up and sees Sonny. Before, long they are making love on the pool table…alas (for Carly) she is just imagining it. With a disgusted look, she tosses the cue stick down, takes one more swig of beer and heads up the stairs…
Meanwhile, upstairs in his room, Zander undresses as he (prepares for bed?). Suddenly there is a knock on the door. It’s Carly…(Doesn’t she ever get tried of making the same mistakes over and over again…I’ll bet she ends up PG by the end of next month!)

AJ keeps up the pressure on Courtney with lavish gifts.
Courtney begins to smell a rat, however.
Laura decides to have Roy and Felicia help out.
Ned tries to convince Kristina that Alexis and he are through.
Jennifer Smith gets down and dirty with L&L.
AJ decides to risk it all and go for the gold.
Carly goes about finding the truth.
Skye decides to come clean.
Luke and Laura are in danger yet again!
Luke and Laura decide to take the plunge again, and become engaged.
